✓ Great app!A glitch occurred that prevented me from recording but I did a reset and now it works! great app and I am very happy with my iQ7 device.Version: 4.0.0
✓ Haven't even opened yetAnd I bet the clicking others are hearing in their recordings are the result of "clipping" or recording level being set to hi... Another said they had "play with it to get the levels right... I'm really looking forward to getting back into the game of recording the live music, with permission of course / my own listening pleasure. Tape many a show with Sony d5 (later Addison Sony d7 amd Casio) and the tried and tru Nak 300s as well as some stealth... Things seem to be much smaller now a days... Went to see Ziggy other night so funny how everyone try's to record video on phones, yes some does come out well, however most I witnessed could stay still or could stay quiet. Anyway, looking forward to Laying with this app will post another review when finished. ✓ Worth findingNot sure why the negativity but.....I already use Zoom hardware (recorders and drum machine) and love them. After trying loads of recording apps and finding that most either charged too much for too little or did not provide what I wanted i.e. small in size, effects, and an export facility that wasn’t the Cloud or Soundcloud, I settled on this. It’s like coming home to mama zoom - it feels incredibly familiar. It records really well and is straightforward to use - just like the Handy Recorders. My only gripe (which is minimal) and hence the 4 stars because it seems easy to programme, is that I don’t have info about the file size until I export. Apart from that it’s a great little app. I need it to demo songs on the go. It’s a step up from most voice recorders, gives you recording options and effects that work. ✓ GoodFor what it is, it’s great. Negative reviews are probably user error. Using the higher end external mic attachment requires a bit of research on decoding your signal to get out of it what was intended but that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work even in a studio so....Version: 3.0.0.99

✓ I don’t get itI own an H4 and the swanky mic. I’ve made hundreds of recordings with just my phone however. Recently I’ve realized that the recordings I thought I’ve made of my elderly mom are all for nought. When I record directly with my iPad or iPhone I get nothing. The mic which I bought doesn’t fit in my phone because of the protective casing I have. Sounds like a way to way to nickel and dime people into buying your products. Just make us pay pay a few bucks for the app and make it work properly..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Please allow multiple file uploads at once!App is nearly perfect, I would give it 5 stars if you let me select multiple files to upload to iCloud instead of having to upload each one individually. Apart from that it’s great..Version: 4.0.0
✓ It's Free and works a treat :)Well, what more could you want out of a freebie that gives you decent digital gain control and good vox triggering and a nice selection of record format settings and a tiny (but usefully essential) effects? Needless to say, add in the fact that it's effective, provided a useful metering, and works brilliantly on the internal iPhone mic, just about makes it worth the install just as an when it'll be useful - personally, I'm hanging on to it. Zoom are a known good brand in Far East sourced HQ recorders (multitrack and otherwise), amongst many other audio tool hardware - so it's no surprise that their freebie app doesn't skimp on the basic qualities common to all the hardware kits of the brand I've used/owned. You could buy any single track or stereo dual track record app for iOS devices or opt for the freebies, but this one I'd have paid for - probably the only one I actually would buy if it cost money. Let's put it this way, the stock app integrated to iOS and this one are universes apart in terms of recording beyond bare bones dictafone type recording - and for interviews or bare bones field voice recording for podcast track takes, I'll opt for universe Zoom thanks :) Haven't tried it with plug-in mics yet, but I doubt the experience will be anything less than great :).Version: 2.0.0.56

✓ Looks nice doesn’t replace fireI have been using the app called “fire” for a long time now it is since been discontinued and I can’t find an equivalent for newer devices. Thought this might do looks nice and I’ve had it for a little while now. I tried to use it in a pinch and found out it doesn’t see any input Although unlike the app for the F8n you can actually open it and demo the app sort of. Wait never mind I tried it on my iPad and it worked I don’t get it is it just not like my iPhone or like me I’m confused it will use the device is microphone on the iPad but I don’t know what’s up on the iPhone..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Zoom mic for IPhone +App= killerCan’t say how happy I am for the new version of the app. They solved one big issue (Bluetooth / wireless headphone connection) and the new interface for the file share has been improved. I would suggest to try to squeeze in an improved sharing experience to send files directly via WhatsApp or Telegram..Version: 4.0.0
✓ Thoroughly enjoyI bought the iQ6 about a year ago and use it mainly for field recording of ambient sounds. I have used it to record my acoustic guitar ideas so I don’t forget them and it does not disappoint. I would like to find a way to rename the files from within the app- and find a way for Bluetooth output support. I like recording while being able to monitor- but I would like to be able to share the mix immediately by connecting to my Bluetooth speakers or Bluetooth hub that is connected to my Eris 4.5’s.Version: 2.8.6.80

✓ Powerful Professional SimpleThis is the second TV Pilot I’ve edited where all the voice over is done using an iPhone with this App. I send the script, the talent go somewhere quiet and read, I have them in the timeline in seconds.
