✓ Support local journalism! But please respect testers’ desiresLove the app, and love the News-Press for publishing hard-hitting news and enterprise journalism for a local audience. I only wish you would respect readers’ request to opt out of different news alerts. I have Sports Alerts turned off for a reason. I don’t want to know about sports updates. It’s different when it’s a huge breaking news story, but listicles and other things of the like (i.e. “Top things to watch at Florida v bla bla”) shouldn’t be pushed to readers via notifications who specifically opted out of that in their settings (namely, me, and others in my situation). You gave us the option, so thank you, but please stick to it and be mindful when crafting the push alerts. Thanks again for all your hard work..Version: 5.25.2
