✓ I want to read this...butI downloaded this app from the iTunes Store eagerly anticipating the second installment of the iPoe series. I asked myself, "What gothic fun awaits?" Then, as I tried to open the app, I was informed that I needed to download some files before it would open. "No worries," I said to myself, clicking the link to start the update whilst opening a cask of Amontillado to partake in the telltale pleasures of a glass while I descended into the maelstrom. I soon began to rue the morgue-like pace of the update and minutes started to fall and usher in a pit of mystification. Why wouldn't it finish? What a predicament! Patience. VPN. A little diddling. Nothing seemed to work. It would not continue the download or open the app. I began to feel like the man that was used up and then I was hit with a mesmeric revelation. Posting an iPoe app to the iTunes Store that requires an immediate wireless update should get the creators Tarred and Fethered. As a Poe fan, I am disappointed..MscolvinVersion: 1.7

✓ One annoying problemI love the stories and the illustrations are wonderful but it is so frustrating when the pages won't turn with the first swipe. Many times it takes two or three swipes and some pages won't turn at all. You have to touch the half-round icon at the bottom of the screen that opens the layout of all the pages in order to move to the next page. Only a small disruption but it would be nice to turn pages without a struggle..57824ggVersion: 3.0

✓ SuspiciousThese books are entertaining and well done, but unfortunately I have to give them a low rating due to the apps suspicious behavior. I have purchased all of the iclassics and found that they all immediately default to the 'on' position in cellular data and immediately use nearly a megabyte of data. Why a book would need to use any data at all is curious and that they use that much data is both odd and suspicious. I wrote to the company at the email posted on their website but received no response. I cannot recommend purchasing these books unless they stop this practice of sending whatever data they're gathering and using customers cellular data without permission..ApptappinVersion: 3.9.1
