✓ Unfortunately DisappointingThe only event that shows up when I open the app is a test event I have deleted multiple times. New events do alarm at the correct time but I can't see them to see status or to edit them. I have removed the app from my iPad also multiple times to see if it reloading it would help but still could only see my oft deleted test app when I reloaded it. I've emailed the app creator but have not received a response in several days. I'm still hoping he can provide a fix as I find the app very interesting and potentially useful..Version: 1.6
✓ Can lose events when running Memory Disk cleanerIf you have this App and Memory Disk cleaner your events will be lost if you clean your IPad or other such device. This should not happen and have now looked for an alternative countdown event calendar where events are not lost when cleaning your IPad So to sum up if you have both these Apps then this will not work.Version: 1.6
✓ Sad Sad SadUnfortunately, I cannot give 0 stars as this system will not allow. The app does not work the way it says on sales page. Now, I have gone to ask for a refund. It's not the amount of money, it's the principal. UPDATE:NOVEMBER 2017 This poor excuse of a software developer offers an email address to supposedly address problems. ✓ Description about count up is falseUPDATE: as I told the developer via email days before he wrote the response below, yes you can get it to count up (although it shows as a negative number, which is annoying), but the event will still not show up in the widget in the Notification Center. That makes it useless to me. The description says you can count up from a date as well as count down. This is 100% false. I don’t know why it would say that if it doesn’t, but please don’t waste your money like I did if that’s what you are looking for..Version: 2.1.7
✓ WronharrisI like the app & its features very much. However, lately it freezes on the opening page and goes no further until, after a minute or two, it reverts to my page of app icons. Ok, I want to keep and use the app, but my notes to “support” have not been answered. Silence. Nada. So today I eliminated the app, including a lot of data I had entered, then downloaded it again from the App Store, and voila! same behavior. I hope there’s another explanation than what I’m thinking, that the Tsopanakis organization is better at advertising its products than supporting them. ✓ Great idea - needs workLove the idea but the "red badge icon" only worked the first time I used the app. To go into the app to check the countdown is a waste of time. ✓ ExcellentHaving used other countdown apps which have all failed to deliver as promised I am very impressed with Events. Very quick syncs and a very good UI. Only thing I would like to be able to do is to schedule regular monthly tasks using the same title rather than having to use a suffix. Otherwise a very very good app. There is one important bug in the app, OFTEN AFTER ADDING AN EVENT the event is deleted. I have found the only workaround is just to use one device as the master device to make entries on, they do seem them to stay until deleted..Version: 1.6

✓ BrokenThis app is now officially broken. When a countdown reaches zero, the event that has ended, turns to blue and cannot be deleted. Also, once an event has ended you cannot add any others and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall but this only fixes the problem until an event ends once again. ✓ Okay, lots of optionsThis app is okay, but when the "red badge icon" is turned on, the number shown isn't realistic. It should round up. For example, if there's 2 days, 20 hours and 10 minutes to go, the icon should show 3 not 2..Version: 1.6
✓ Okay, not greatI purchased this app because it was the only one with the red bubble notification on the app icon, however it doesn’t let you show months or weeks on the countdown, customize anything about the font, and if you upload a picture it’s so dark you can barely see it. In addition, I already paid $.99 but they want you to pay extra for kore colors for events which is kinda silly..Version: 2.1.7
✓ AlarmThis App Counts down and stores events fantastic. However there is no way to enable a reminder alarm and no support when I sent a email asking how to do it. I never write bad reviews if I have customer support. But I guess this is how the developer wishes to have me contact him! Very disappointed that no App seems to be able to do anything more that send an alert. I need an actual alarm. A small beep is useless. This app said it had an alarm but it is silent on my phone..Version: 2.2
✓ Wish it worked...I had this app before on my iPod. Since upgrading to an iPhone, I downloaded it again because I remember liking it. It's been about a week now and I'm TRYING to have about 4-5 events counting down, but every few days one of them disappears (always the same one!!) and today not only that, but another one (which had a few hundred days left) now shows zero and the colors have changed on their own, too. I don't know what's going on but I hope it gets fixed..Version: 1.6

✓ Works great, but I ran into a horrible glitch when I first got it..So the first couple of events I added I could not see, The third came up, so I thought maybe it didn't work the first couple times I attempted and then it wouldn't let me reuse the name of the event that I had before, telling me to select a different name for the event.. This was dissappointing because it was the event I was most looking forward to in the future, etc .. Beyond this minor issue the app is great once it's up and running, but my suggestion is to play with it first and don't set specific events to start, because u can delete them after... I think if there was anything I would improve it would maybe be to change the color option to format to maybe allow for more settings to be changed such as font, font size, background picture??(doubtful but maybe) All in all very cool, and with some minor updates this will be an amazing app that could potentially to amazing things.Version: 1.6

✓ Won't let you save more than 2 eventsEvery time I'd add an event on top of the 2 that were already there, after the app was closed and reopened, the events would not be there. Very disappointing/ frustrating..Version: 1.6

✓ App no longer working...?App has started freezing on the opening screen, I can no longer scroll down to other events I had listed, nor edit the ones that show. Is this a bug that can be fixed? I like the layout of this app and use it all the time, tracking upcoming jobs and using the reverse timer to keep track of how long a finished job has remained unpaid. Quite disappointing to not have access to the upcoming info I have input...I hope it’s only temporary!.Version: 2.1.7

✓ Nice layout, but problems with important featuresI like that you can count down several things but an important feature to me was displaying the countdown on my screen without having to open the app, which I have tried to setup multiple times and have been unable to do. Also, would be nice to choose when the countdown rolls over to the next day. I have to wake up for work early, 5 am, and would motivate me to see one more day off the countdown, but still on the previous day. Must not reset until 7 or 8 am..Version: 1.6

✓ App keeps crashing... I now my have to reset my brand-new iPhone.On the face of it, it seems like a great app, with great features and themes... As I have a brand-new iPhone from apple (less then a three weeks old) I was happily adding my event information to the app, when it crashed. I was unable to get it to restart so had no choice but to delete and download it again from the App Store. I was quite happy that this seemed to work and even more surprise that my information was still available on the newly downloaded app... (I've not seen this before with any other app that I have deleted/on this or any other iPhone that I have owned.) Within a few seconds it started to crash again so now have chosen to delete it permanently. I'm very concerned that my information didn't delete fully when I first deleted the app; I'm also now having to consider resetting my phone back to its factory settings as since downloading this app my phone has become very slow..Version: 1.6
