✓ Hopefully this is incompleteI hope there’s much more to come but looking at the version history, I can’t really say I have much confidence in it happening. You’re very limited in what you can do or see, URL structure only appears as 2 parts, form data doesn’t appear very detailed as with the desktop version. You don’t even have the ability to repeat a request, much less use breakpoints for editing requests or responses. It’s not completely useless but it certainly needs improvement, otherwise I’ll be hoping for telerik to release fiddler for iOS, given all the extra features Fiddler4 has over Charles, I would expect they’d release an iOS app with more features..BmcleppyVersion: 1.3.1

✓ Has promise, good for basic debuggingThis has been long time coming and I’m very excited about what this could mean for debugging HTTP traffic but this app is very basic. You can view requests and responses of all HTTP(S) traffic on your iOS device, SSL proxying works well but that’s about it. What it really needs is HTTP throttling, map remote, breakpoints and cache disabling and then this is a five star app. There are also some issues/bugs with this version, large JSON bodies don’t display, I just get blank screen where the request/response body should be. Charles is one of the most useful apps for developers and I use it daily on the Mac. This iOS version is good but very basic. It’s v1 so I hope the developers have plans to add some of the more advanced features in future updates. Update 1.1: None of the bugs reported have been fixed. I’ve reported them to the Charles team directly but not had a reply back from the developers on the issues I’ve reported. It would be nice if the issues were acknowledged and if they can’t reproduce maybe they could contact me and I could give more details. Also dislike the new icon, the Charles vase is iconic and unique the new icon is just boring and doesn’t stand out anymore. Anyway not going to loose sleep over it. Update 1.1.2: Unfortunately still no bug fixes for the issues I’ve raised. I’ve reached out to the developer and heard nothing back, not been asked for any additional info. I’ve emailed twice and was just told it would be passed on. Not really good enough customer service for a paid application. It doesn’t work properly and the developer just seems keen on ignoring customer feedback. Latest update: Since had reply from developer. They are working on fixing some of the issues which is good. The issues with it not displaying large JSON bodies is just a perception issue. Turns out it does eventually load but takes quite a few seconds and there is no feedback hence why I thought it didn’t work at all. Nov 2018: So it’s been three months since last update so I can only assume it’s been abandoned. Developers promised frequent updates so unless they are planning on something big I can only assume this has stalled. Probably not enough interest? Maybe that’s due to the lacking features like breakpoints, mapping, etc..CamsoftVersion: 1.2.2

I’ve followed the instructions given (and the very basic help page) yet if the proxy is enabled no requests can be made, let alone recorded. ✓ Keeps turning off by itselfIt keeps turning off by itself every time during recording session so it's hard to guess which data was not recorded. ✓ Had to buy twice!I’ve had so many problems with this app, it’s buggy, slows down the phone, won’t allow me to use certain apps. I have been needing to update for awhile and it wouldn’t update so I deleted it and I had to buy it again! ✓ Can not monitor other devices in networkI installed it because I thought I would be working like the desktop version on Charles Proxy, however it doesn’t have that feature. However if your purpose is just to sniff your own device it works just fine. It took me less then 10 minutes set all the configurations. Instructions are very clean..Brs999Version: 1.3.1

✓ BuggyThe app is buggy, SSL certificate only installed after many many tries and the proxy disconnects by itself intermittently. Also, occasionally I see “error” instead of “trusted” for SSL certificate on the settings screen which causes SSL proxying to stop working. ✓ Certificate issueI was sooo excited to see H rales app for iOS and bought it right away, unfortunately wasn’t able to get the certificate be trusted even tho I have installed it multiple times and even deleted the app and tried again, followed the exact steps, in the iOS settings the certificate is installed and verified.
