✓ Love itIt’s very useful and relatively easy to use. However, I help my mom design quilts and wish there was a way to share them back and forth (hence the four stars instead of five). But other than that, no complaints! Worth the money definitely..Version: 1.46
✓ Quick design toolEasy to learn and work with! Would love to be able to change the size of the borders and add multiple borders. Also a sort on the block wheel would be nice, as would a sort on the fabric stash. When trying to template a 54 40 or fight block, you have to overlap the triangle over the square and it doesn’t always work or remain overlapped. I know you are not supposed to overlap but there is no other way with the shapes available. More shapes or an increase on the number of shapes per block would make it more flexible. Overall I really like the app and 2 people I recommended this to have purchased it. Any recommendations for the 54 40 or fight block would be appreciated..Version: 1.46
✓ Love this API absolutely love this AP. I think many more people would use it more if they just realized how to use it! I have designed several quilts with it and made it so much easier! Plus, I could see how it was going to look before I finished it. Does take a little navigating until you are familiar with it, but it’s worth it! A must have tool for quilters!.Version: 1.46
✓ Time for an update...........pleaseThis is a very useful tool, and the ability to compare blocks “made” with different fabric options is superb. It has saved me hours when deciding which fabrics to use for my quilts. The reason I didn’t give five stars is because there are no trapezoid shapes in the block template section, so I can’t make blocks such as interlaced squares or pineapple. The only thing it lacks is instructions of how to cut/assemble after you design it. I still gave it 5 stars because it's that awesome! Also it is less than $20.... ✓ Best quilt app out there but with limitsI love the fabric stash and the organization. You can't copy and paste which is time consuming, block shapes are limited to squares. You can't edit your preexisting block templates but I'm hoping they will fix it in the next update. I love the crispness and the step by step process of building a quilt. ✓ In love with this app.I had been trying for a long time to figure out how to keep track of my stash without having to cut off the corners and staple them into notebooks. When I was searching the App Store for what seemed like the hundredth time I came across this one. As I read the description and reviews my heart jumped for joy. When I saw the price my heart sank. I decided I wasn't ready to pay that. After several months and lots of trying to find "that fabric i bought for that one project" 5 years ago, I finally decided it was worth it to buy the app. I love being able to take pictures of my fabric, make notes as to how much I bought, what project it is for and most importantly where I put it. I also like being able to use the block templates or create my own with the pictures of my fabrics. I also like being able to create a quilt with the blocks and fabrics I have. I have showed this app to several quilting friends and they really like it too. However they do not have iPads and most likely are not going to get one just for this app. I think it would be beneficial to them and the developers of this app to make it for the google store as well. ✓ A Must Have for Beginner Quilters!As a quilting beginner, I have struggled with mixing colors. I’ve taken classes and watched videos on how to find great color combos, but nothing has really helped until Quiltography. The app allows me to design a block similar to what I’m working on, add photos of my fabric into the block and move them around until I get what I’m looking for. I love this app!.Version: 1.46

✓ Great for beginner & experienced quiltersAs I had a voucher I decided to splash out on this app, so glad I did as it offers so much. Being able to photograph own fabrics allows use of these before buying more. So many block templates built in there is something for everyone but capacity to design own blocks extends this app further. As a beginner the quilt design element is so useful to see how the whole quilt would look. The calculation of fabric requirements is all done for you too which will avoid buying too much. The app is very user friendly, instructions are clear and concise and easy to find when you need a reminder. I have recommended the app to quilter friends who have also purchased ..Version: 1.41

I am happy with the flexibility in block designing, I can make each block different if I want to. I'm just starting to add my fabrics to the stash portion. ✓ Valuable toolIt took me some time to see how this would help, but as I learned how to use this app it really became a big time saver. The last quilt I designed had irregular sized blocks and the thought of laying out a king sized quilt on the floor was daunting. I placed my blocks in the app and I refer to it as I pieced it together. I’ll always use this now. I also bring my iPad to the fabric store so I can easily refer to my fabric needs. ✓ Good start, but….Just started using this app. I’ve added some fabrics and designed a block. But now that I’ve added fabric to my block, I can’t save it! I keep getting a message saying that I must “complete” the block before i can save it. DK what it means by complete…. I think it IS complete! All the blocks are filled with fabric. ✓ So glad that I found this app!This is what a simple straightforward quilting app should be: fairly simple & straightforward! It has a few irritating habits, mainly forcing you into square blocks & not permitting fabric changes or simple color changes from the quilt window (you have to go back and make a different block for every change, which is a PITA). However the price is right for what it can do, and the learning curve isn't bad at all. If you could do color/fabric changes from the quilt window it would be ideal. I think it works better if you only put fabric into the "stash" that you are using for a given project, mainly to keep your memory use within reason..Version: 1.46

✓ Great foundation.......This is a great app for building quilts with very basic shapes. I also feel that it is a great app for the money I paid. I have designed several quilts with this app that I must say have come out just as I had imagined them. I love, love, love the stash portion of the app, however, it really needs to have an option to group Fabrics by project. The yardage calculator is great!! The sashing should have a digital input for size rather than the slide bar which is very difficult to control. Overall, a great app with room for slight improvements here and there..Version: 1.46

✓ Fantastic! but I have two requests..I love that this app has so many easy to use features, effectively combining multiple apps into one, and doesn't require a subscription to use, however, the only two things I find kind of annoying is that when placing a fabric image into a space, I cannot reposition the photo to accurately showcase certain patterns, and when creating custom block templates, the amount of shapes is limited. This poses an issue to me when trying to digitize some of the blocks I have pattern cards for and I'm trying to fill all the negative spaces. Also, just as a curious side note, I see empty slots in the shapes wheel in the custom block template builder, and I'm wondering how to acquire more shapes to fill the empty slots..Version: 1.46

Would love to be able to add appliqué blocks, perhaps importing a picture as other apps allow? ✓ Perfect for saving and sorting your fabric stashJust bought this APP and learning but the videos are so helpful. I found googling my fabric name gave me a better picture from the web than my camera and am saving into ‘ my fabrics’ that way. I like that when you store fabric on the APP you don’t have to type out the design name or place of purchase each time. Bottom of screen gives recent text added- yay! Plus if I want more fabric I have all the details at the touch of a button. I hope the programme keeps evolving..Version: 1.46

✓ My Photo QuiltsI love this part of the app. I have made two picture quilts so far and getting ready to do another. I have seen other picture to quilt software but this software makes it very easy to sew together not to mention limiting the colors to only 20. Wish I could post a picture of my “pixilated” President Obama and Freddie Mercury. I do other parts of the app, mainly for quilt/block sizing. I see you have an app for just My Photo quilts. ✓ Superb! Powerful but easy to useI am blown away by this program! You can figure out how to use it in literally minutes. You can audition fabrics for your desired quilt. It has many built in traditional blocks (conveniently ordered in alphabetical order) but you can easily design your own. All this power for $15- fantastic!.Version: 1.46
✓ Great app, but with significant limitationsI love designing quilts with this app. With the ability to upload my own fabric, I can see accurately what the finished quilt would look like, And the yardage calculator is a godsend. However, the limitations are too significant to merit 5 stars. 1. The blocks can only be square. While it wouldn't be a problem with many traditional quilts, it severely limits the types of quilts that can be designed. There are many quilt designs with rectangular, triangle, or even hexagon blocks. Those are not an option with this app. 2. The border options are basically zero. You can only have one 5" border. This is pretty strange, given that there are almost endless ways to design borders on a quilt, including multiple borders, pieced borders, etc. 3. Same with sashing. You can have cornerstones, but that's about it. I wanted to design a quilt with Ohio stars as part of the cornerstone and sashing, but it's not possible with this app. Also, it's impossible to tell how wide the sashing is when adjusting with the sliding bar. You have to exit the screen and click another button to see any dimensions. Very frustrating. I do love this app. If it were making only very traditional quilts with Just one 5-inch borders, I wouldn't have any complaints. But I find the above limitations puzzling, and frustrating..Version: 1.46

✓ Really Handy AppI have used many quilt designing apps over the years, including the cost-prohibitive behemoth, Electric Quilt. I really needed something more affordable that I can use on my iPad, something I could use to get my ideas and fabrics in a design more quickly than what I can render by hand. Quiltography fits the bill for me. I am enjoying the way the tutorials are presented. The collection of quilt blocks is ample and well-done. Creating custom blocks and adding fabrics to the pre-designed blocks is straight forward. Adding my own fabrics to the stash is easy and the overall user interface is really pleasant. ✓ Love itThis is a really intuitive app that does a great deal. It comes with a lot of block templates and fabric selection that you can play with to see how a block looks before building it into a quilt. Even better though, just by taking a photo directly from the app you can build a library of your own stash. You can even record how much you have of a fabric - in my case that might not be a great idea as I can live in denial of how much I really have if I don't document it!.Version: 1.01
