✓ Hmm...The story was so easy to make, I thought I had a new tool to use with my students. I specifically bought the pro version so I could email a story to a student moving to a new school....we wanted to prepare him over the summer with pictures of the new school and staff. Once I tried to email, I realized the recipient also needed to buy the app. Great concept, but useless if I can't share by email to my students..Version: 3.3
✓ I’m the autistic person this app was forMost of the ones they already have are for purchase only and I was hoping for more of a template when creating the social story. But whatever. What was concerning to me is that- by default it has parental controls. What? And you couldn’t permanently turn them off witch really rubs the the wrong way. Autistic teens and adults exist and we use social story’s too..Version: 5.2.2
✓ HorridSomeone is paying a pr firm for these reviews because this app is useless. Every interface asked for a parent to key in a sum only to be presented with in app purchases. Given their target market, this app is a disgrace..Version: 5.1.15

✓ Zero app supportI have emailed this “company” 4 times and have heard nothing back - just an automated email that says it can take a week to get back. It’s been 3 weeks and nothing. Don’t buy this app!.Version: 5.2.2
✓ Good but needs workThis is a wonderful app. It is really easy to create social stories for students. The pre-made stories are well done. My biggest complaint, is if you upgrade you are only limited to the number of stories you can create. You should have access to the pre-made stories if you pay the upgrade price..Version: 3.1.2
✓ Not bad but……Okay so I like this app, but once you make two stories, you can’t make anymore. You have to pay money to to create more stories. And it isn’t that fun so yeah. All you do is create a story and then read other books that are like for kindergarten. I do like how you can add a picture to your book, but that’s not really it. I just want to create more stories then that would be a little more fun so please fix this. Or else it’s just going to be boring for everyone. And no one will like this app unless you pay. FOR MONEY. Ugh it’s just so annoying and my mom doesn’t let me buy stuff that you have to pay on games only my own money and I’m just a kid so I’m not wasting my own money just for that. It’s ridiculous. ✓ Money GrabNot super intuitive. Content is lovely once you sort it out. But overall this app is a money grab. They get you in low and give you basically access but no content. Then they charge you incrementally for every little thing. If you want this, commit to at least $20-$30+..Version: 4.4
✓ Really like this app and hope audio issue will be fixedMy kids and I really like this app. However, we have been having significant issues with the "read to me" not working. It did work when I first downloaded the app but has not been working for a few months now. Even with the audio not working the explanations are very helpful for kids learning how to be polite and curtious. Thank you for designing this app.Version: 3.1.2

✓ Please HelpI created the perfect and much needed social story for my son for tomorrow, but unfortunately it will not allow me to share it. This price allows me to make my own books using my own photos or pictures. I could have done this in PowerPoint or word. ✓ Amazing Social Story App - However....It pains me to write this review as the product is amazing - when it works. I have used the app personally (I have a child with special needs) and professionally ( with clients)for several years now. It has been an invaluable tool for creating custom social stories on the fly. I have recommended it to countless educators, parents and SLPs. Unfortunately, after an iOS update in December 2020, the app is now non-functional. Support from the developers was stellar until Jan 2021. Since Jan 2021 I have sent approximately 20 emails requesting help (emails and requests for support through their website) but there has been zero follow-up from the developers since. It is now June 2021, a full six months later and no follow-up. This once invaluable tool is still non-functional. I am at a loss as to what to do in this situation. Super frustrated and disappointed..Version: 5.2.2
✓ AwfulDon’t bother. As soon as you open this app it immediately reveals you need to pay to print. Absolutely awful considering the targeted group for this app are children and people with special needs..Version: 5.1.15
✓ Good and badIt's a simple to use app good for creating social stories. But it has a MAJOR flaw in that there is one button on the title screen that says delete. If you hit this button it deletes the entire story without double checking if you want to. I highly recommend that the next update includes a pop up box (or2!) to minimise accidental deletions, and a trash can to retrieve deleted stories..Version: 5.1.2

I am unable to send the stories to my email or print them out :/ I also tried to contact the developers, but the button to report a problem does not work either. ✓ Not satisfiedI have found this app to be frustrating when I try to share my stories. I paid for the pro version that said I could share stories, only to find that I can only share them with someone else who has the app and has also paid for the pro version. I created my stories on my iPhone and tried to share them to my iPad to have the student view them, and I can only do that if I pay twice for the pro version. I wish I would not have paid for the pro version. It is useless to me..Version: 3.3
✓ FontI wish I could change the font as that style of type is to animated to read small on a phone. I would like an option to use a simple sanserif font. Also the audio is not letting me record so that feature is not usable for me which is unfortunate..Version: 4.4
✓ Good idea but has some problemsFirst of all, all the social stories tell you that they have a cost by a dollar sign hanging over the story however it does not say how much any of the stories are which means I will never buy any of them because I don't know the cost ahead of time. Second, to create a social story you have to use photos from your camera roll. I want cartoons or stock images. So essentially creating a story here is more complicated than literally going to a word document and finding photos online and creating your own outside of the app. I will be deleting this app as it has 0 usefulness to me..Version: 5.0

✓ Special Ed TeacherDON'T BUY THIS APP. I paid for the full version so I could specially print and share with colleagues and parents alike, unfortunately it doesn't allow you to do either. When the creators where contacted they were not helpful at all with a fixable solution, in fact they complained they were a small husband/wife company etc etc. I don't particularly care how small they are, the app should do what you claim it does. Several of my colleagues also purchased the app and have the same issues and responses from the creators. Such a waste of money. So disappointed as it has the potential to be wonderful.
