Keeps logging me outThe service is fine but the app is frustrating. It continuously logs me out. Twice in the past hour. Previously I contacted the support team and their response was “it’s for security” and that was it. Fine, then offer a Face ID login or anything other than having to go through the full login process each time. And if it was for security then why doesn’t the web version log me out? It feels like it was a lazy response to a bug. The app will also lag and not sync. I will clear items and then they’ll all reappear a few moments later. This happens with high frequency. I’ll have to clear items several times before they actually clear and stop reappearing. I’ll also be reading or writing an email and it’ll suddenly refresh and kick me back to the general inbox The app is frustrating enough that I have been hunting for a better service for a while just to be done with the app.Version: 2023.10

On boarding process is a bit misleading!Cloze May have cool features that they advertise but beware once your trial is ending their system will say that the cost is only $16 a month to continue the service. Then once the trial ends their system will recommend a higher priced plan based on your feature usage. Most likely you will choose that plan, but later find out you will have to again upgrade to a higher monthly plan because the recommended plan didn’t include all the features used during the trial. This causes you to lose key features that you thought you got when upgrading the subscription. The process is a bit misleading so make sure you get the correct plan upfront so that you don’t lose a ton of data that was previously input into the CRM once you purchase the “recommended” plan....Version: 2019.1

Raising the price while lowering the quality of product ?I’ve been using this for about a year now, and have been unhappy with how SLOW this actually is. It may take up to minutes for the inbox screen to actually fully load even when I’m connected to wifi. It also takes extremely long for new emails to actually appear on the inbox screen, when they’ve been in inbox for sometimes hours already. Now to top if off, you guys want to raise the price on the renewal... I’m not sure if I’ll be renewing the membership. While the idea behind it and the actual interface are both really good, helpful and easy to navigate, the actual app is so slow running that it makes me BARELY use it. Having to constantly click the reload button for emails that have been there for hours to actually appear on my inbox screen is frustrating and time consuming. I have absolutely no problem with paying for these types of services but if you’re going to raise the price first work on your product.Version: 2019.2

Same experience here - ok for keeping in touch but bad for mailAs an email app (I was looking for - and expected based on description) this fails miserably, I would be totally at loss. The social functions make it complicated because it doesn't help with GTD, so you end up with the opposite. This app tries a novel approach to email, however we grow accustomed to using email as a sort task work drawer, which is how email was invented for. Even Google wasn't able to break it down by Google Wave. S you can see how traditional Email is pervasive in online life. That doesn't mean there isn't a better way to use email. However not the Cloze way. The only benefit of using this app is to keep in touch with people I'm losing touch. But that amounts to sending them "Hey,man/Girl, what's up.. Are you doing all right" ..emails which is probably only as bad as it can be..Version: 2.0.3

Bad UX. Cluttered. Not worth your time.Honestly, this is the first time I have had to come to the App Store to actually write a review about an app I didn't like. And I consider myself a pretty heavy I app user. This just isn't good for email. The fact that it has an social networks integrated is a cool concept but it makes everything too cluttered and the app is rendered useless. Go search for Mailbox App. They're doing it right in my opinion..Version: 1.1.0

No Mac OS desktop appApp is really good. Documentation is terrible. If you can't find a feature, reach out to help desk and they are really helpful, but it seems like even they sometimes don't know the answer and you just have to do a trial and error process yourself. The AI is incredibly useful, and I hope they continue to make this a more polished and refined product. In case anyone who does not have a M1 mac is wondering, when you look at the app store it says the app is only compatible with m1 macs. Well what that actually means is that you can run the iPad app on the desktop, and there is not a dedicated desktop app. You can only see that information if you open the app store on a M1 mac..Version: 2021.2

Love this App, but....I would give this App 5 stars, and will update when fixed. Emails are not coming through automatically. I have to open the App and refresh mail for anything to come through!! This does not help my relationship with my customers, and in fact has hurt some due to not responding in a timely manner, all because I was not alerted and am busy working through the day and do not jump on my email to check it. I only check my email once a day - at night, unless I’m alerted that I have new mail. Please fix ASAP!!!!!.Version: 4.9.4

Don’t buy itUtterly useless, don’t buy into this crap. Wasn’t even possible to add info@... or contact@ email addresses from a list of contacts and save them as individuals, although many important people in a company use exactly those email addresses. Neither was anyone from Cloze able to help me deal with such a simple request, not even the CEO. So just be aware, this software is another waste of time..Version: 2019.1.1

Great ConceptGreat idea but there is no full synchronization with exchange accounts so when you log into Outlook you and clean up your mail all ovar again.Version: 1.1.1

Interesting ideaThe app is interesting but has rarther annoying interface. Perhaps it works better if you know hundreds of people and send/receive thousands of messages. For me it doesn't pick "Key people" correctly and shows some random people from facebook groups. Overall the app is not very useful at this stage..Version: 1.1.0

Chaos and complicatedI used this software for 3 months and then we moved to Pipedrive. The reason we moved away is extremely chaotically organized email. Not scalable for bigger projects. So basically if you grow your software will not be helpful anymore. The first biggest reason that entire platform is extremely slow. The chaos in emails is crazy, you can look 5 mins into your emails and can’t understand which email was first and which one was second. Another huge problem is phone integration or T-Mobile connection in particular. (Didn’t try with other providers) I contacted their support at least 15 times and every time instead of fixing they just reset connection and asked me to login again which never fixed the problem. Support is not well educated and not responsive. While you need real time support instead they are over email and not fast. I am dealing with CRM integration and personally do not recommend to install this software. Try something else, I have already wasted my time. Maybe the app is good but app is just a one feature of the CRM but not something you should make your decision based on when choosing your platform..Version: 2019.3

Just another app that goes to the mobile app cementeryI was excited at first when I read the description of this app. I am a project manager and product owner of a multi-national media company and I manage people across the globe. From Hong Kong to Argentina. I thought I’d have in Cloze all my tools bundled into one app. Dream come true. Then when it came to connect my working tools to it, I was extremely disappointed to realize the only integrations they have are Google, Slack, Evernote and some TelCo carries. That is about 10% of the tools I use to manage my projects and CRM. I don’t see myself using it. At all. But did waste some time in downloading, configuring and thereafter realizing this is not what I need. And I just wasted a bunch of time..Version: 2019.1

Doesn’t work correctlyGreat concepts but buggy and slow. Even when the iPhone worked I’d have to refresh multiple times and could take 15mins to sync. The app was ok for several months. It was hard to setup and way too many functions. Needs to be simplified.. we don’t want to work on your software all the time. It should be easy and just work. Drop all the bells & whistles because it just makes it slow and buggy. Then I was playing with the phone sync settings and then my iPhone wouldn’t sync. I spent hours doing what they website said to do to fix. Nothing.. multiple emails of them telling me to do what I had already done. Spent another two hours do exactly what they said. Still won’t work. It’s just crappy software with support that wants to send you a link to something you have already tried..Version: 2021.2

The Absolute Worst Customer ServiceI can’t even begin to express my disappointment with this app and their company. I have done my best to not write a review on here because I really hate to do that but I feel taken advantage of by this company. A CRM should make managing my contacts more efficient and organized. Cloze CRM has so many issues that I have spent countless amounts of time just to get it to work properly. Thanks to this app I barely stay in touch with my contacts anymore. I constantly have to reach out for support and not once have they either fixed the issue or offered some sort of resolution. I was a sucker and paid for a year in advance based on the features that were sold to me. All of those features do not work properly for me and as a result this CRM is basically worthless for my purposes. Worse yet, the company doesn’t seem to care. They got my money. Well, now I’m just trying to save someone else from going down the same mistaken path as me. Save your money people. I guess I probably will have to complain to Apple now too. It’s just more wasted time. I really hate to be negative but just want people to have an honest review!.Version: 2019.1.1

This is a dreadful appBe careful about getting trapped in this app. The developers seem more interested in trying to add clever new features than in fixing the multiple basic flaws that range from inbox losing old emails to attachments no longer being available to an incredibly complex way of emailing to lists to being unable to save attachments directly to whichever folder one choose to a myriad other basic functions that are essential for an email client. I regret having become trapped in this bunch of rubbish..Version: 2020.1

Very good - but unstableIt's a great idea, and a really well executed app. The design is good and the integration is excellent - tho once they add whatsapp and a couple of others it will be twice as useful. It's really helped me make sure I stay in touch with the people who matter most to me. However, it is quite unstable, and often either crashes or filters the wrong lists, or occasionally just selects the wrong people/messages. But if they can get that cleared up, and add whatsapp, then I'll probably use this app more than any other..Version: 4.7.1

Did I just get scammed???I was trying to set up Cloze and while connecting social media accounts felt like I was scammed into agreeing to a free trial that end briefly then automatically charges my account with an unspecified amount on a periodic basis. So it seems if I continued with set up I will be agreeing to a free trail and charged after trial was over I did not want to agree to a free trial or be charged for a subscription to anything. I want to just delete the app and go on about my business but I’m afraid I’m going to be receiving charges on my bank statement for a service I never used, understood, or even wanted to agree to..Version: 2018.3.2

Absolutely Useless - A Big Confusing Ness!Yet another Contacts/ Personal/ Comms app that promises ("yeh really truly, this is it, the one, the best, no one ever thought of doing this!") something new & amazing, yet delivers yet another confusing, illogical, unusable mess! It gives you no view of contacts info, just a jumble of half-realised ideas on how to (maybe, sorta!) add "stuff". You have to add every single detail back into each contact despite the app announcing at start that it will analyse all your infos & put them together in an amazingly organised way. It adds a completely random batch of email addresses to each of your contacts, that in your Contacts are not even in these contacts! I got my bank's email addresses added to my mom, then in the "amazing" graph that it analyses as this contact's importance to you, mom gets a 5% ranking even though I call & email her every day, yet for a random never-used contact it ranks 80%!! These are just random values being applied!! Sheesh!! Check that, BLANK contacts imports, after taking 5 minutes to import (oh yeh, & "analyse"), & you have to re-add every excruciating detail from your original contacts!! Plus delete all the random jumble it does include!! Look I could go on but it's not worth it, this is like a couple of middle school geeks got together over lunch & decided to create a really neat Comms app, but got sidetracked over an iPhone game, then forgot to compare notes, then gave up & just pressed the upload button for laughs. Very buggy and Horrible InterfaceThe Email Agenda Contacts page's on iPhone is has graphics that take up 1/3 of the page when what you want is the email ! - who designed this obviously has never used a decent mail app…no diary…yet it promotes its agenda full of bugs…very slow..ugly ..horrible And they want you to Pay $13.33 a month SUBSCRIPTION - you have to be joking - many better free apps out there … don’t waste your money….Version: 4.5.0

Interesting but not rightThis is an interesting concept but the algorithm for deciding "key people" doesn't seem to take time into effect very sensibly - I have two ex-boyfriends who I haven't spoken to in a long time (years) marked as key, and the only person I'm apparently losing contact with is my Dad, who I probably talk to more often than anyone else. SupportOk, works well in theory, but I have had issues connecting, syncing, and searching. Should not be so difficult to work through, but cloze does NOT have immediate support, no phone, no online chat. You send an email and wait for a response. Hours later, usually does not answer the question, so you have to write back...you get it. Takes days and many emails in what should take 15 minutes. In my case, can’t get the search function to work on my email. HUGE negative. Waiting for an email to discuss how to make it work; still....Version: 4.9.5

Expensive and pop up for subscriptionToo expensive per month subscription.. once the free period ends will have pop up all the time to subscribe. Good CRMIt is really innovative and I really came close to upgrading. My only issue was without the ability to search email it was not going to work. Our email is IMAP and I guess their software can’t search imap like other mail programs. Will try again when this is implemented. Great start though, I like what you’re building. Only reason for 3 stars is that is a necessity for businesses that manage multiple email domains. Thank you!.Version: 2019.4.1

Could us improvementThe app is buggy with things like texting through dialpad using templates, sometimes it'll bring up a text template for you to edit & send other times nothing, sometimes the text from template button isn't even there. Help desk may take over 8 hours to address your concern and may not resolve it. But I see how having your text, calls, and, emails for a specific contact logged in this format could be helpful. I just feel that not every functionality works as intended..Version: 2022.9
