The app allows you to personalise Metro’s live service updates to receive the information you want at the times that you need it.

Some of the features include:

- My Trips allows you set up your stations as well as lines so you can receive the next four timetabled services from your chosen stations and will show alerts for your chosen lines
- Next Four departures are shown for your trip stations. You can toggle between trip stations to see departures in both directions. Up-to-date departure information is displayed, providing expected departure times.
- Travel Alerts will provide push notifications for travel updates to your line at your selected travel times.
- A Morning Update which assures you that your selected line/s is running a good service

✓ V/Line ServiceThis app is really good, because I go to the MCG every week for football and I was tired of waiting not knowing how long it was going to be but you get the point, anyway, I head on trains from Pakenham to Moe with a V/Line but I can't seem to find the line that goes from Pakenham to Moe, and I don't want to get a separate app just for V/Lines. Overall it's great 4/5 because no V/Lines..Mickyboo1707Version: 2.1.1

✗ Could be a great app if it had live updates about specific pre-selected servicesJust down loaded the app thinking I could get notifications about the trains I generally catch. Unfortunately it looks like the app only goes to train line and station level and you can only select brackets of time in the AM. I have evening commitments, as most people do, so being able to receive alerts about PM services would be useful too. I have the PTV app as well which shows live info about services. Why can’t there be something that combines the aim of both apps so I can set up alerts for my favourite services? For example, it would be useful to receive an alert when the 8:24 from Heathmont is cancelled so I don’t have to hang around for 30mins waiting for the next service. I could instead rush for the 8:15 or laze around the house for another 20mins doing laundry or tormenting my children. I know these seem like insignificant first world problems but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t have first world expectations.
