✓ Better before "improvements"The new version looks pretty, but it's more difficult to use. You can't easily add/delete locations, see hour-by-hour forecasts, or check wind velocity/direction. Also I want to see bad weather alert areas and precipitation on the same map. I will use a different app until you make some improvements..Version: 4.20.130021780
✓ Some potentialScrolling is a little choppy. It doesn't auto refresh very well or locate your position on its own. No push notifications. Cannot add layers on top of radar. The UI is very appealing. I will be watching for app updates in the next few days to see if the developers are serious about building a quality app. There's something good to work with here. ✓ Great interface, but starting to crashI've been using this app because it has a great interface, simple information and "weather narratives," (a written description of the forecast) and unobtrusive ads. Recently it's started crashing occasionally when I try to go to a certain city. One entry for New York City doesn't update properly (showing a web url where a time's supposed to be, etc.). I try to delete it and there's no option to "Back," only "Cancel," which negates the city deletion I just did. Feh!.Version: 1.4.3

✓ Getting worseI’ve had this app a while and at first I loved it. Now, I hate it. The radar doesn’t work at all for the surrounding 100 miles. According to my radar it’s completely clear around me and it pouring out. Time to find a new app..Version: 4.34.260050143
✓ Something's gone wrongThat last update screwed something up. I'm in the Los Angeles area and every time I try to update the data in a location it changes the location name to Los Angeles on the current page AND on my list of locations. The actual information looks right, each location I try this on has different data. I tried closing the app (iPhone 5) and going back in. The data seemed reset to the data that was there before I tried the first update, for each location..Version: 1.4.1
✓ "Not happy Jan"I downloaded and searched for my city ie brisbane. 4 seperate locations came up for choice. Not one was recognised by the app. Strange when its the app finding and delivering the list to choose from. I wanted to have the app due to searching for allergy pollen count and it was only weather app appeared. Cant seem to find anything on app for allergy or pollen index even for New York which is city it does have on app. If this is only for america state that on the information screen. ✓ Poor appThis app doesn't let you out in specific cities. As anyone knows Los Angeles is a big city and has many cities comprised of it. And the weather is way different from downtown LA and the Valley but they are only listed as one as Los Angeles and as anyone in California knows one broad temperature for Los Angeles isn't helping and is totally wrong. It can be 68 degrees in Los Angeles by the airport and 90 degrees in the valley but there is no distinction in this app between cities . Terrible app not worth it totally incomplete and incorrect temperature readings . I am in Canoga park it's 90degrees and the app says 72 degrees so it's wrong because it's not 72 degrees right where I am and that what is listed for Los Angeles . Just remove this garbage app cause no one is going to get it unless you fix this major issue. Who wants temperatures of a city that is 30 miles away but it's under this broad thing of LA and we all know each city has different weather and having a broad area of LA for your temperature area is so wrong.Version: 1.4.1
✓ Radar quit workingI used to only use this app. I’ve had it for several years. About 6-8 months ago, the radar stopped showing storm movement. I deleted and redownloaded the app. Same thing, when I try to see what direction the storms are heading, the radar goes blank and the movement button spins wildly. Now today, within seconds of opening the radar, the entire app closes. I think it’s time to find an app that works..Version: 4.34.260050143

✓ Great app, until ...The recent changes took this app from 5 stars to 2. The biggest weakness is the totally useless first page, with almost no relevant info. Then to see the other places you are interested in, rather that just look at the bar on the left, you have to use a drop down. The new appearance, in a lighter scheme, is ok, but not as distinctive as the old one. I'm looking for a replacement app..Version: 4.18.160018205
✓ A formerly great appAlmost everything went wrong with this previously great app with the latest redesign. I believe it would have been possible to add some of the new features without destroying the beautiful simplicity of the previous design, but now huge graphics now dominate rather than quick and easy visibility of the essential weather data. Apparently the siren song of low-contrast was too great and the app crashed on the rocks of trendy but dysfunctional style. I'm appalled that the developers didn't have the decency to even migrate favorite locations for those who were loyal customers. I would have paid for the previous version given the chance (it wasn't offered) but now myWeather is deleted. A sad and unnecessary fate..Version: 4.18.160018205

✓ Wind directionLayout is quite good but in the UK Wind direction was showing the wrong way Should have been south east but icon showed south west, and would be better if wind was every few hours. precipitation is showing as rain amount per hour but compared with the time of day at top of screen it doesn't show any signs of precipitation for the same duration of hours, Just don't go sailing with this app You may as well look in a field and see what the cows are doing.Version: 4.21.270023765
✓ What I likedThis weather app had a cry clean presentation. Of the local weather. The all black background made the app appear minimalist similar to a few other weather apps I liked. The only nagging thing was the iAds across the bottom. Ugh what an eye sore. There was an option to upgrade to ad free but the link appears not to work. Then I saw that the app was going to be updated. May be the ad free link would be there and it would work. Not! What the update did was completely clutter the weather. Now this clean simply app was trying to be the Weather Underground offering videos on weather around the world, science videos, traffic reports and weather alerts for every part of North America. Even after setting up my city as the only place I wanted weather bulletins I got advisories about possible brush fires in the US mid-west??? So now my weather is buried among other feeds that I don't need. I have Waze and Beat the Traffic and I have USA Today that has excellent continental weather radar and weather items. ✓ Inflated temperatures skew over-all averages. Facts please!I've been using this app for 5-months and I can't trust it. With this current cold weather, my outdoor plants need protection from freezing temperatures. Now that it is winter time, I've noticed that my outside thermostat is some times as much as ten degrees colder than this app is reporting. I wonder if this monitoring station is purposely near a heat source? Some global warming hoaxers will set up monitoring stations so the recording of currant temperatures slant the truth in AlGore's favor. 34 degrees is much colder than 41. It is a sunny Monday, November 30, 2015, and very cold. This app is way off and I no longer can trust it..Version: 1.4.3

✓ 30 seconds to get weather infoIt takes abt 30 seconds from tapping the app to get local weather info. This is far too long. With recent versions they actually slowed the app down from 15 secs to 30 bcause they want to present useless info 1st. Better app than others but not by much. ✓ Horrible updateUntil a day or two ago this was a terrific app. It allowed me to enter multiple locations, and had good satellite maps for each one, plus weather forecasts, watches and warnings. Now it is just a totally boring bunch of images that take you to the same stories of weather around the world that you can get in many other places. Similar to the stories WeatherBug has in a non-dominant position. So why has such a useful app been destroyed? ✓ Completely reloads mapEvery time you slightly move the severe weather map which shows warnings, watches, etc, it has to completely reload the map. This app has no memory built in. ✓ Stopped workingA genuine 5 star app when it works, with an excellent rain radar for the UK. Unfortunately the radar updates have stopped functioning with iOS 8 so now it's just a generic forecasting app. It's OK, but so much better when the radar works..Version: 1.4.3
✓ OK, But Needs WorkScreen flashes multiple times quickly soon after opening the app or switching to it. Scrolling is not smooth--it feels rigid--unlike other iOS apps. Scrolling is also not perfectly responsive. There are no settings. Need options to switch between F and C, and between 12- and 24-hour clocks. Need a purchase option to remove ads, or paid version of the app. Need an hourly weather view. The above deficiencies make the app cumbersome. It would be a really nice app otherwise, and if the problems were fixed, I would give it five stars. I hope the dev(s) update soon..Version: 1.0
