✓ Just write away...I was waiting for a app that let me throw all of my ideas on digital paper. It's very useful when you don't have a notebook around you, just to create stories, poetry, ideas, and etc. Plus it tracks the amount of words you write, usage of app, set a goal for word count, and little bit extra. ✓ Love this app!This app is brilliant, it does exactly what it says on the tin with excellence. The only reason I gave it 4* is a glitch with the Dropbox sync. If you switch to another app or save a piece and go back to it later it won't update the version on your Dropbox. You have to turn back-up on/off and you end up with duplicates on Dropbox. If this is fixed I would definitely like to come back and give this app 5*!.Version: 1.6

✓ Does not auto saveIt would be 5 stars but if you’re writing something and have to close the app for a minute or two the app doesn’t remember why you’ve written. Not only that but it also forgets the prompt your we’re working on. Really disappointing if you had done a few hundred words just to find it gone and unrecoverable. ✓ I Enjoy This AppI can see where it may be useful for writers block but the random suggestions it throws out is also a great way to get your brain moving and creating in general, plus, it's fun and at times informative and amusing when you reread the stuff you come up with. When you have a random prompt, in my opinion it gets your brain moving and sometimes totally off topic but, if have other projects to write since they are on your mind sometimes, you come up with the starting or the main idea you can rework at a later date and most of the work is already complete except for touch ups and making applicable to the topic, whatever it may be. I don’t use it to journal but those that may have a hard time getting their feelings out may find it useful as well..Version: 1.8.1
✓ Awesome!I can’t believe I didn’t find this app years ago! I’ve been using it for three days and the prompts really cater to how I write and gets my brain jogging. However, the reviews had me a little skeptical about losing all of my work :(. So I just downloaded Google Drive and copied and pasted everything there in a document so I know my writing is truly saved. I think something in future development should be able to sync to something like Dropbox or Google Drive if you’re able to work with them. Thank you!.Version: 1.8.3

I have to say that I was skeptical about the idea at first, how could a random first line get you started? But after having written 3 bits of flash fiction in 3 days using this, I am completely sold on the idea now. It even got me started on story I had wanted to wrote for a long time, but could get started, when Prompts gave me the first line 'Whenever I close my eyes I see...', the story just fell in to place. My favourite feature has to be the option to set a writing reminder; combined with the prompts, I write daily now! I deal with a multitude of mental health and substance use disorders & the accompanying daily struggles, both personally & professionally. In CBT (therapy), and just in life, we need small, manageable tools to ground ourselves when life feels like an insurmountable feat. These prompts are absolute perfection! They take us out of the mental rabbit hole and put our focus on something that carries no threat. Finishing the prompt with a few words is usually reflexive, but often leads to calm introspection. ✓ Great Prompts AppA great app if you have writers block or want to write short stories. I personally was looking for a poetry prompt app but this works just as well, that could be something to implement in the future. That being prompts or challenges for poetry. The starting lines I get for each story are very unique and interesting, and it's very easy to write a story around it. Overall I would give this app five stars, as I have yet to find anything wrong. One thing that annoys me though is I can't get out of the keyboard very easily to read over my story, other than that everything is great..Version: 1.4.2
