✓ NOT HAPPYIf your not a real Seaman and think this app is appropriate good for you!! Thanks to the good reveiws im now £30 out of pocket and would even hazard a guess at the staff and close equatances have all written a gleaming review each!!! Firstly as said previously. Depths and contours lack detail even though I made it slightly better after removing layers. It’s slow and doesn’t even load the last place you were looking at only seconds before. If your a fisherman or something equivalent and wish to have marked strings of pots or even add your own way pointed course you can’t!! The one in the pictures has been saved on the app to look at but you can’t use it. The majority of the apps time is spent trying to sell you charts or extensions of their own product. Only the yachts and dinghy idiots that don’t respect the sea and it’s dangers would use such a clueless app. And I wouldn’t be suprised if they even get mentioned in maritime enquiries following the onslaught of bad seaman ship to follow this apps use. ✓ Sadly, not impressed.I had high expectations for this app. At a tenner its a much better proposition than Navionics is, especially given that this works on both the iPad and the iPhone without having to purchase a 'HD' version. Sadly though it seems you get what you pay for and I went ahead an bought the Navionics app after giving this a try anyway. The main problem I have is that the level of detail in the charts is lacking and not always drawn correctly. For example, at a certain zoom level, the depth vectors around Scarborough harbour are drawn right over the top of the harbour, obscuring it entirely; not great if that's your destination. Zoom in to see the detail inside the harbour, and there's nothing much to see either, whereas with Navionics you see a detailed layout of the harbour right down to the positions of its pontoons. The same levels of detail apply equally at sea, with Navionics showing far more information. I don't know whether the problems with vector rendering hides any detail at sea, but if it does, I suspect this could prove dangerous if someone were to use this app as a chart plotter. If there were a refund option, I'd use it as this app has proved to be a waste of money for me..Steve NealVersion: 1.11

✓ Don't waste your hard earned money!Bought this as an aid to my paper admiralty charts for convenience and novelty factor aside it's just a spin on google maps it seems. Key exposed rocks near St Helier are not shown and half of a large exposed reef is also not shown, that has to be a joke, but the laugh is on me as they now have my money. Do not buy other than for a bit of amusement as it is worse than useless..RihamiVersion: 1.2
