✓ READ BEFORE BUYING!!!Okay. I worked EXTREMELY hard on something in this app. So, after about a couple of months of working on it, I’m finished!! Yay right? Wrong. I go to export it onto my phone. What do I get?? “Upgrade to are pro version to be able to export more than 30 seconds of this video!” I. Am. LIVID. So this app leaves me with one question. I understand the payment is low, but what type of payment?? It gives me no information on what type of payment. Once and done? Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? I want to give this app more stars, but I will need an answer to do that. My presentation was 30 minutes long, and I think 30 seconds is a stupid time limit. Either change this or give me an answer. And I don’t want a copy and paste answer either. Please allow me to make my rating higher. Please? I don’t like having to rate apps this bad, but I don’t know what else to do really. ✓ Black screenThis used to be the best editing app but I deleted it and got it again today and now when I am trying to make cute edits, in the middle the screen goes black and won’t go back to the pictures I have added, I tried to make this edit twice now and both rimes the screen went black. I have taken lots of time and effort on both edits and it just ends up with a black screen so this definitely needs to get fixed right away.Version: 7.1.0
✓ I think it would be great.It all started when I got a green screen for my birthday. And I ignored it for a while, until now. I’ve been wanting to do fun things with my green screen, so I finally got my green screen and got this app. I then had my green screen set up, and I took a test video. And when I tried to look for green screen filters and stuff like that, I didn’t find anything. I then clicked on the “more about pro” button, and I found that you had to pay $4.99 for green screen things like filters (I think). So why I gave this a one star is you have to pay $4.99 to use the app, because you can’t do much with it otherwise. At this moment I am thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the app, because it looked free to do these things. I might pay $4.99 to use this app and it probably will be great otherwise, I just don’t know why they didn’t ask for $4.99 to begin with. Because you can see the amazing things you can do with this app, but don’t think it’s free..Version: 8.7.0
✓ Restore Purchases!!This app used to be my favourite for video-editing. Recently, I bought a new iPhone 6S Plus and I downloaded the app again. I wanted to restore my purchases and upgrade it to the Pro version, but all it said was “No purchase to restore”, which should not be the case because I definitely remember paying $7.99 Australian dollars to upgrade it. ✓ Add more featuresI use this app to make video edits but I am always using the same transitions because you only have a select few and never add news ones. I have the paid version of the app so I have all of the features unlocked but it would be nice if more transitions were added every once in a while. Like shakes and zoom blurs. There are many’s other but for a phone editor I am only able to do the same transitions and after a while no one wants to the a video edited the exact same as the one before. Overall I love this app I just would like to have more options and variety’s.Version: 6.0.0
✓ Great and all, but..Ok, first I want to say that this a great video editor app that I would recommend to anyone making a video with a green screen... but, as with all great apps, there are some issues: I have had some issues with the chroma key, I only got to make two videos before it stopped taking the color I wanted to use. Now it doesn’t work at all, and honestly, I’m pretty disappointed. On the other hand, it’s pretty great, I like that it has no ads and my favorite feature would probably be the “create your own watermark” I would use this app more if it worked a bit better. Edit: I just figured it out, you have to have the green screen on every single frame or it won’t work, which is honestly kinda lame...Version: 6.3.0

✓ Will not export or save. No replies from developers.I’ve been using this app for almost two years. I paid for pro and have been happy with it - it’s super ease of use is a big plus. However, for a couple of months at least, I’ve experienced crashing if sorts. It saves to 100% but then gives an error message. Exporting - up to 3% before it stalls. Extremely frustrating after days of editing. With my latest project, I don’t dare uninstall and reinstall, too many hours of work. Worse if all, I’ve seen other people mention this issue and there are no replies from the developers..Version: 7.1.0

✓ WAS Fantastic, sloppy and overdoneAlmost every DAY we use this on multiple iphones and ipads. It's a portable dream come true. I had this at 5 stars until this late 2019 update: its extra useless options leave a LOT of empty space leaving the actual video a tiny little spec which you're supposed to work with, for NO reason. You now must tap through a lot MORE routes to get what you want, it's too cluttered and not as user friendly, after 5 years of it I can say this is a bad idea. Still that tutorial after every update. I see reviews of people giving this one star because they have issues with ONE specific issue, I've never had a problem but I dislike the tutorial EVERY time I update the version and the mosaic reminding me what to do everytime I situate the function, but would never give such a nice cheap program a bad review. Perks: Saves fast, great color balances, mosaic is so good, text animations are SWEET, and If you make music in another app, you can bring it into PerfectVideo. You can do SO much with this thing. I was so tight on budget in the past that I simply couldn't afford 5$ to buy this, but it was my first app years ago and can say from MASSIVE experience, I would write a great review of this even a week after buying it. I'm stuck on old version IOS and I still get NO BUGS. I recommend this but be prepared: tiny work space, with 4K videos now smaller on this app, its impossible to do what you want given the small work area..Version: 8.0.0
✓ Videos won’t playI’m extremely disappointed because this app is amazing. It does everything as advertised and I even purchased premium because I enjoyed it so much. However, the videos ONLY save to your phone. When you go to save your video you have and option of saving it in an mov or mp4 format. Yet, when transferring the video to a computer the file won’t be playable. Even when following instructions on their Q and A about video saving my files still wouldn’t play. ✓ Good app if you have the skill...Overall, it’s fine, I guess. It’s a bit confusing because in the beginning, they don’t give you a tutorial on what buttons do. I guess you’re supposed to know, because it says it under the button sign... oh well. What was the worst of it? Probably the fact the you don’t know what the transitions look like before you make the video. I had to stop because it would only let me change the transitions manually. I’d say if they updated it a bit, I’d use it all the time. But for now, all I’m gonna say is to practice. It may get a bit easier as you go. In the end, it’s an app for people who’ve had experience with this kinda stuff. Anyways byeeeeee.Version: 8.6.0
✓ New update or somethingI usually use video star for most of my edits and there was no problem with it until today when i tried to use “pip video” and it said that you need pro for it but when i used it yesterday i didn’t have pro and i was able to use it. ✓ App will not upload photos/videos into projectI bought this app years ago and had no issues and found it very easy to use. Until about a week ago. While trying to make a video, every time I add photos and videos into the project it rejects them and says they are not on my phone or in my iCloud photo album. I took the videos and pictures on my phone and did not delete them and have made sure that they are in my iCloud photo album numerous times and it still pops up and won’t add them. It randomly added them to my project only to delete them a day later, so I tried uploading them again and again the messaged popped up saying the same thing..Version: 6.6.1

✓ Where did the menu go?I am flummoxed. Saw that there was a menu when I first started. Could not navigate back to it, went to Support site to locate information on how to do it. The support site does not have a Q&A. I find that rather strange. My iPad is on the latest version of Apple software, and it is listed as the app working on it. Maybe I have malware? Maybe a gremlin in my computer? Respectfully, it is lacking in user support. Also, there is a slight reek of greed, that gets stinkier by the minute. ✓ It’s good, with some problems.It’s a really good editors app for beginners, mark my word, but I just may or may not find it annoying that all my progress has been erased after coming back after a few months. No matter what project I open that I have been working on, it just shows a black screen and crashes whenever I try to play any of them. I just don’t know what to do. ✓ Doesn't do what advertised....All I wanted to do was edit a short 48 second video... after realising at the end of the editing that I'd have a "perfect video" app advertisement taking up the bottom right of the screen, I was then told that I couldn't export the video without upgrading to the paid version as I only get 30 seconds... how this app has 5 stars is beyond me, can only assume it's for the paid version. ✓ I want to love this app againMy team & I have been using Perfect Video for over 3 years for smaller on the go projects but now every time when we try to save our projects the app consistently crashes or displays a “cannot complete action” message. Secondly, we all recently purchased iPhone X’s & starting filming in 4k but when we attempt to slow motion the footage down to half the speed it renders it choppy & the footage lacks the super smoothness that we used to get when rendering 1080 HD footage to half speed slow motion. Thirdly, the option to render in 4k disappears the more media files we use to create a project which is bewilderingly frustrating. We hope these are just recent bugs that will be fixed or my mobile editing team are gonna have to move to a different app for mobile editing..Version: 6.1.3
