✓ BUDGETING MADE EASYThis app is awesome. I've downloaded and tried a whole lot of different budgeting apps but this one I found to be the easiest to use regarding seeing what I was spending and breaking it down into managable categories.Version: 3.7.6
✓ Best money app out thereSince I got my first job I've had to manage a lot more money than I am used to, this has worked perfectly for just that! It takes a month or so of transactions to get used to the app itself, and it does require manually inputting spendings but it has overall made me much more aware of my spendings and what I want to budget each month. ✓ Nice AppI use Mint and Chase which both try to deliver similar information, but Spendee is my favorite so far. Ideally this would be integrated directly into my bank like Chase is attempting to do, but since Chase isn’t developing as much of this visualized content, Spendee is worth the small fee. It was extremely easy to set up and they seem hungry to deliver helpful content. 4 star instead of 5 as the UI is still pretty mediocre. Give the UI some love and I will be telling people about it. ✓ Loved this app until the categories messed up!I love this app. Has helped me track budgeting for last 12 months. But about 4 months ago all the categories started messing up and were unselected or missing. Developer mentioned they were working on a fix but it has still not been fixed. Have to select the categories each time now. Real shame as this app is great otherwise if you have the paid version (yearly subscription). ✓ Good finance management appGood app, works smooth and reliable. I can see myself using this for years. No ads, and no interruptions. Recommendations: The screen while adding transactions could be improved. i.e given the size of phones and most of your fields and buttons being at the top of the screen, it would make sense to move them to the bottom half of the to aid one hand use. Also putting the pertinent fields right at the bottom ie date underneath photos which i assume will be used less often by users. Turn emails off! - an option to this in app would be great, i really dont need an email to tell me my expenses when i log into the app on a daily basis anyway in addition to your widget. ✓ My favorite app!Absolutely love Spendee! The charts are incredibly helpful for overview of experiences and the budget feature has the most clever option of combining wallets and categories which allows for additional more precise overview of what was spent, how much is left from what was initially planned as well as what is the daily amount you shouldn’t exceed. Linking the accounts is definitely making things so much better and easier since one doesn’t have to worry weather they have forgotten to log in the latest expense. As for the future improvement suggestion, it’s more a proposal - it would be nice to set something like a budget but for the income in the savings account so we could track how well are we doing on that field. Not a budget but a savings plan. I would definitely appreciate and enjoy that feature. :D.Version: 3.14.1

✓ Couple suggestionsThe app is great for managing personal finances and I like the intuitive UI and graphs. Just a couple suggestions that can perhaps elevate the functionality & user experience: 1, could you please add some extra default view range by fortnight and quarter? Some people have bills due per fortnight so it’s good to have a view that covers that. Quarterly one is also good for budget setting and spend review (other than manually selecting range which can be annoying) 2, is it possible to have a button hiding internal account transfer while not affecting the overall cashflow? Or perhaps simplify the transaction list for intro account transfer (currently showing both inflow and outflow of accounts while net effect to cash flow is zero). My transaction list is clogged up by transfers (if any) and sometime it’s hard to see the net outflow img transactions (not sure whether it’s just me feeling this from an accounting background) Overall I like the app and it does help control my budget a bit so please keep up the development work, thanks!.Version: 5.3.1

✓ Almost perfectI like the app and all its features but the main problem I run into is forgetting to actually go inside and look at my spending. I wish wish wish this app had widgets, then I could have it on my home screen and be reminded every time I go on my phone how I was doing. Would keep me much more on track and use the app more. ✓ Best app for budget monitoringThe app connects to your bank accounts and fetches information from there, which is great! A little feedback would be: editing the category for multiple transactions at once. Change the category for transactions in the Pensing state. Improve the auto categorization, every month I have to manually change a lot of the same transactions for some non-sense auto set category to the right one. The app is was supposed to learn and adapt future transactions to the right category, but it have been passes 5 months or so editing the same categories, and nothing of spendee starts getting incoming transactions to the right category. Annoying. But anyways the app stills great, and I hope that the team read the feedbacks and improve the app. Thank you!.Version: 3.16.6

✓ BugsHello. Thank you for your helpful app. Unfortunately recently the app has several problems, that are critical and could be bothering. I try to name them and hope to see them solved as soon as possible. Thanks. 1) recently in one of my wallet all photos are crashed and shows none of them and instead a sample thumbnail! (Really mind-changing Problem) 2) the hashtags are shown after typing some letters but by tapping on them they doesn’t get inserted and should be typed every single time!! 3) I experienced a wired bug, when my touch id pass is enabled and I just enter the main setting it turns the passcode off automatically!! ✓ Great appI was unable to log in for a couple weeks, but contacted tech support and was able to get back in with all my data intact. Tech support was very responsive. I love this app for tracking expenses, you can set up different categories and personalize them. There are different levels too if you want to do more and the cost is reasonable. ✓ Good overallI’m still very surprised that Spendee doesn’t have a ‘Payee’ section within each transaction as a separate field. It’s one of the vital pieces of information about any transaction and I’d find it very useful as a way of filtering. ✓ Good balance of functionality, some bugsI was looking for an app that would let me enter expenses by hand and track categories, spend limits etc. Spendee does that perfectly. I’m sure it’s great when you sync it to a bank account, but I really appreciate that I don’t have to do that in order to meet my needs. UPDATED: ever since I upgraded my phone to a 12, I get a generic “error” pop-up message after every transaction I enter in the app. Super annoying and sometimes seems to result in the transaction not being recorded. First, it’s very easy to add and expanse/income. It’s weird how many apps would make this feature so complicated with too many taps needed to add an expense or where they would place the buttons so you have to stretch. This app nails it from the user experience stand point! Second, it’s very light and smooth. No noise or clutter and super nice UI. Third, it has the 3D Touch/widget which makes it even easier to access. All in all, great job guys. ✓ The biggest upgrade is a total disasterI have been using this app for 5 plus years. The latest biggest upgrade has completely ruined my entire spending history by adding duplicate transactions. The number of duplicate transactions is so huge that manual cleanup is not possible. Do these guys employ testers to test before a release? ✓ Incredible app! Good optionsI’m quite young and don’t have many things which I need to add and my transactions are generally simple. I had been looking for an app which could help me record my finances better than manually adding everything on something like a Google sheet (which is what I did beforehand) and I found lots of apps which looked great but then they were usually exclusive to US or require paid subscriptions (at least for this app it’s optional) and I couldn’t really use them. ✓ Good app but so close to being a great app!Love the app, it’s been great to see exactly what I’m spending laid out in simple charts. Love the design too, nice and simple. But one thing that would make the app so much better is being able to back date reoccurring spends. For example when first starting out in the middle of the month, it takes a whole month before you’re properly set up with all you monthly reoccurring bills because you are unable to back date them. I’m not really sure why you’re not able to do this as it seems a relatively simple thing to put in to place. And from looking through the reviews I’m not the only one who thought this needs changing. ✓ Love this appI tried out a bunch of different apps to meet my needs. I just needed a simple app where I could add recurring expenses along with other one off expenses and see how much money I have left to spend for the month. This does that and more. Love the design and the user experience. My only suggestion would be to let users pay a one time fee of 2-3 dollars for every member they want to share their wallet with. I don’t really need any of the other premium features. Really an excellent app though! Another suggestion would be to allow users the ability to see the amount of money they will have left to spend for future months instead of waiting for the month to end before I get to see the current month. Have given some suggestions for additional features like: - reimbursement of expenses should be allowed to be credited to expenses, currently it forces the reimbursement to Income, which is really not correct. - budget assignment - a report which shows which expenses have not been assigned to any budgets. - only one photo is possible to be assigned to expenses. The main issues I have are the app sometimes changes the dates I enter for recurring expenses, so I have to change the date manually. You don't have to give them your bank information if you don't want to, which was a requirement on the first app I tried. ✓ Great app though still room for improvementApp works fairly well and is easy and enjoyable to use. For me it really needs subcategories. The #tag system is essentially useless. Tagging transactions doesn’t seem to serve any real purpose as you can’t view spending over a period for a tag. If the app implemented subcategories so I could seperate spending for my house into insurance, repairs & maintenance, entertainment etc it would make the app nearly perfect. The ability to create custom budgets is especially helpful in tracking Weekly, Monthly, Yearly spending as I find if I’m overspending in a week and can still remain on track for the month. I think would be good to see your spending vs time through the period for each budget without having to tap on it. If subcategories were implemented it would also be nice to have the ability to include categories at a subcategory level in the budgets. Track multiple accounts, decide which accounts should impact your overall totals, add loan accounts by initiating them with negative value and transfer from your current account to the loan account. Excellent all the way! They finally offered lifetime premium one time purchase, I prefer that over subscriptions. I'd recommend leaving that as an option for people who prefer one time purchases. ✓ BrilliantAt first I was skeptical having tried a few apps like this in the past with no joy, but bar them not yet supporting one of my less frequently used accounts (forgivable as it’s newer and less well known - plus easy in-app facility to express interest for them to add support) I have found it incredibly convenient and relaxing to use, for the first time I feel totally in control of truly tracking my spending. My favourite feature is the ability to customise categories meaning that whenever I can truly tailor it to sort my personal data in a way that actually feels authentic to my lifestyle. Another bonus is it’s ability to match internal transfer transactions between accounts, the only one critique I have is it doesn’t display the dates when doing this so once or twice I have gone to match a transaction and had to work out which one I was after, however avoidable if you update these as you go. I can see myself using the Premium version as long as it is available though and haven’t checked if there is one already but if there was a web version I’d be interested to use that, I View this service as the future of modern personal accounting..Version: 3.15.8

The foundation of the app is one of the best I have found in expenses tracking and budgeting. The online platform currently gives you and overall view of everything. The online portion is being built so you can go into greater detail with the app it’s self but it’s not available to the public yet. If your looking for a place to have accountability this is the best app out there by far. Notes for developers: Could users have a place to recommend improvements or ideas for future updates? It would also be great to have one budget that can be broken down in different periods like “this is how much I can spend each month but I have an allotted amount for the year so if I’m under or over for a month it shows in the yearly budget”. I’ve tracked my spending with this app for almost 2 years now by utilizing the category options within Spendee to make everything super simple. I can get any type of data I want from the app with just a few clicks that help me budget everything! The Spendee team also have phenomenal customer service. ✓ Very good - lots of promise of even better.Great - handles spending the way I do, based on sources of money and separate accounts for each of them and provides for recurring transactions so you can forecast cash needs and make transfers - wonderful!! Basically excellent. Gripes - - the iOS app and the website currently roll their transactions at different times so the website and app frequently show different balances based on recurring transactions. - four square doesn’t include all businesses and the app people haven’t figured out that “where” will very frequently be an internet based business - like Microsoft, so it’s not perfect (just means it’s less structured data and harder to analyse the spreadsheet if you’re at that level of detail). ✓ Great money trackerHi, Spendee is a fantastic money tracker, it does almost everything I want from such an app, however I really miss money transfer between wallets as someone already said in one of the reviews. I have one question though: I can’t seem to figure out how to create a universal budget that account for any spending from any wallet. I’d love to set up a budget for lets say groceries but sometimes I use my credit card, sometimes I use cash and I only seem to be able to set up a budget for a specific wallet which is useless for my purpose. ✓ Shared Wallet Doesn’t WorkThe shared work doesn’t work at all. The user shown a unknown user in the others wallet. I reported the issue 2 months ago, but nothing comes back from then. ✓ The best budgeting app everI really love this app for budgeting. You can sync your bank account so you get to see the re-occurring patterns of what you spend the most on. It’s a real eye opener to see what you are spending too much on (mine was too much coffee and eating out). It will help you to be more aware the next time you want to spend on unnecesarry things. It is already helping me a lot with saving up more than i thought i would. Way better than budgeting using excel or any other app. Worth it!.Version: 5.1.1
✓ Auto refresh missing?I've already contacted support but the most frustrating thing is the lack of automated refresh for some accounts. The support team suggested it was something to do with my banks but frankly, that's not true. I've used MoneyBrilliant, PocketBook and MoneyTree - all of which can do this. I'm now thinking of going back to MoneyTree as the frustration and efficiency killer is that great. Sad as the UI is an absolute pleasure.Version: 3.15.1

The ‘walnut’ app back inIndia provides good features and advanced in tracking the expenses. Similarly, Spendee provides that in UK. ✓ Has really good features, but still missing a fewOverall I quite like this app. I like the budgeting feature of telling you how much you have left of your budget by categories and the various automated accounts linking like crypto and PayPal etc (best I’ve come across to far). my only thing is, I would like to have option to choose my paydays from when it starts to when ends (my paydays are very awkward. So I can not get a accurate estimate of my budget left for the month) it also be nice to have like a breakdown of my budget by week e.g you can spend £5 of your budget this week, as well as an overview (which it already has). another feature would be nice is to set money aside for goals as it’s not the exact behavior as budgeting feature already given in the app. because of the different behaviors of putting money in “pots” and would be good to also state how much you can put into the pots with your left over income to reach those goals. ✓ Almost perfectThe app actually so amazing and easy to use. The feature with bank accounts works good. However, there are two things that I would really like to see in this app. 1) if I have the same transaction constantly happening once, for example a week and it goes to the wrong category. That would be nice to change the category once to make all other the same transactions going under the same category automatically instead of changing every single transaction by myself. 2) sometimes I transfer the money from one bank account to another and these transactions sooner appears as income and expenses, please let me adjust it to avoid this extra numbers. ✓ Good but one major downsideAppears to be a very good app, easy to use simple format, Only issues I’ve found it’s when Viewing the account transactions it doesn’t show with cash withdraws only card transactions. ✓ Best app ever!This is by far the best budgeting app I have ever used, or could ask for. The premium plan offers so much - syncing your bank details is a must as it constantly updates and informs where your money is going. Share info with a spouse, as I do, and always stay on the same page avoiding those pesky arguments. Create budgets easily, organise with labels, and get out of the spreadsheet! The only drawback I found is the inability to attach receipt screenshots to my expenditures, which would be a valuable feature for business users. For example I would like to know under my house category what my repayments are, what my insurance is and how much my maintenance is. ✓ A solid money management appThis is a great app. I’ve used similar apps in the past but none are as slick and as well designed as this. Some features I would love to see in the future... - Being able to set a repeat for an expense that needs repeating earlier in the month. For example, when I first started using the app in the middle of the month I wanted to set repeats for expenses that came out on the first day of the month, unfortunately the app doesn’t let you do that. - Being able to clear and unclear expenses. For example, if you buy the money generally doesn’t come out of your bank account on the same day so putting an expense in on that day isn’t reflective of your bank account. It would be great if you could add an expense and mark it as uncleared so that the wallet balance isn’t affected but the total remaining balance still includes that expense to show how much money you have left to spend (a bit like a scheduled expense). Then when the expense does come out your bank you can set your expense to cleared which is reflected in your wallet balance. At the moment if I add a new expense I generally set the date 5 days in advance when the money would might come out of my account for that expense. Not ideal. Other than that I really enjoy using the app. The location feature is great and the overview information is clear and effective..Version: 3.3.1
✓ HelpfulThe best thing about this app is that it not only keeps track if your spending, but also your incomes. I do however wish that there was an option that the information be displayed in a pie graph with totals etc. A percentage graph I find really helpful and easy to understand, most spending apps have this so it's disappointing that this app dies not have one. I would also like an option to change the backgrounds to black, but that's just me. Overall still a very good and helpful app :).Version: 1.2.3
✓ FinallyA budgeting app company that GETS IT. Not sure why I had to download 20 freaking budgeting apps before finding this perfect one, Spendee. Only been using it for 10 minutes but I can tell it has exactly everything I need. UI is super slick too and responsive, love it. All the options are superb. ✓ Lovely appI’ve been using this app since August last year and it has been so incredibly useful, more so than I even thought at first. Any issues have been ridiculously minor and the support team got back pretty much instantly with feedback and support. I’ve got the free version at the moment but plan on getting the paid. First point: 1. You can personalise categories and search by hashtag which makes it easy to manage expenses/income overall 2. Can create budgets to help you manage your money and see when you go over 3. Really easy to add expenses/income and reoccurring is easy to set up 4. User friendly interface 5. Gives a comparison of your monthly saving compared to other people or some tips to save better in the monthly recap email 6. You can view transactions by year, week, month, all time, or custom period of time, which is useful if you need to manage finances differently to the useful monthly basis I would definitely recommend giving it a go, it’s really helped me with managing my money..Version: 3.16.1

However it would be even better if there were more options with paying for premium because I would like to be able to have more than one budget but am not interested in any of the other things that come with premium and therefore do not think it is worth paying so much when I am only interested in one part of it. ✓ Says it’s February when it’s MarchI love this app. However, a minor bug: in the Transactions and Overview, the months (I go by monthly) are off by one month. So, it says this month is Feb 2019 when it’s March 2019. However, each transaction has the correct date with the correct month; it just gets categorized in the month before that. ✓ Great App For a College StudentI’ve tried over a dozen other apps to do one job.......track my expenses throughout the year. I like how this app doesn’t force you to give up your bank or credit card info to automatically track expenses. I personally like the manual entry method as it makes me go over each transaction individually. This app also provides a great user-interface for iPhones & iPads; my two go-to devices. ✓ Best looking finance appOut of all apps I've tried (I've tried many now) this one definitely wins the beauty contest. I love the visuals and the clean design. Here is some feedback for future development, this list is bugging me a bit. I hope you will add to your roadmap! * Option to multi edit similar transactions (let the app ask me if I want to change all previous and future transactions made to the same account please) * I'm using revolut, which has multi currency. All my transactions and exchanges within my own accounts show up in my budgets and graphs and completely ruining the total numbers, making it slightly useless. An option to automatically remove those would be great. Perhaps also when currency is exchanged only show the actual exchange cost. * some categories need to be same for incoming and outgoing, especially when working with refunds. Actually I would prefer to have only one set of categories. Would be much easier. * when in timeline, scrolling down to edit transactions and then saving one, I return to the top which is really annoying when I want to edit more transactions in the same area. I'm only writing my feedback here because I couldn't find your support email in the app. Am really interested in buying lifetime premium but want to see first how your near future development is like first. ✓ Fix scheduled transactions.Great app been using it for 2/3 years now. Has definitely helped me keep track of things. However a slight annoyance is not being able to hide/ turn of scheduled transactions. ✓ Great no nonsense app, best budget synchTried them all. After one day of using it bought the premium whilst on offer, a miracle for me. Clean lines, reliable on demand bank synch. Well thought out design. For future rollouts would love individual budget rollover and a budget that goes from payday to payday. I get paid on the day before the last day of the month. No budget app manages this one yet! Multiple edit for changing category items would be good, and finally, scrolling to stay on the day I’m looking at and editing instead of reverting to beginning of month after edit. This app has the potential to be one of the best budget apps out there. ✓ Amazing appThe app is great! I got the premium membership at a great annual deal. I haven’t looked back. This app is amazing for looking at all my finances on graphs and comparing previous months. My bank does not do stuff like this in their app so it’s great. One major request, the app has no default way of categorising your savings, this means they are either saved as a custom expense, which then skews your monthly reports, or your save them in a separate wallet which then won’t show in the spending overview.
