Glitching double billsNew update is awful. Not as easy to use. And keeps glitching on me. So each bill I have every 4 weeks shows up 8x on the same day. Very annoying to delete them all.Version: 5.0.12

Syncing is brokenMy wife and I both use this app with the same wallet. She paid for the lifetime subscription, and a month later, our accounts were out of sync, with no apparent way of fixing it. We contacted spendee support (surprisingly difficult to find a contact email) who told us to delete and reinstall the app. This made the problem even worse, at which point they said they could recover our data (6 months worth) and they refused to refund us. Avoid this app, their support is non-existent..Version: 3.11.2

Update erased my data and ruined the appI have used Spendee to manually track every dollar since 2013. The new UI does not flow well and recurring transactions is buggy. A large chunk of my older transactions are missing. I can overlook the UI and bugs but data loss is unacceptable. This used to be the best PF app but I will be switching to a spreadsheet if these issues aren’t resolved soon..Version: 5.0.16

Very unreliableInstalled that app a couple of months ago and even paid for the subscription to get the data from my ANZ account. In June the app duplicated most of my incomes and expenses, making the statistics completely bizarre. I couldn’t fix anything, as it is not allowed to edit any data imported from the bank account. As the result, after more than s month since I contacted with the support, the problem is still there. I uninstalled the app, and I highly recommend to the others to use something else instead..Version: 3.9.3

Great app - until it vanishesI have used Spendee since 2013 and have relied on it heavily for accounting, budgeting, tax returns etc It’s been a life saver. I’ve convinced many friends to join the spendee community as well. However last week nearly 12 months of spendee data simply vanished. I can’t locate it anywhere! I’ve reached out to the support desk and to other various email addresses on the website and no one returns my emails. For a company that provides itself on being a tech-leader I’m appalled that 12 months of data can simply be erased and for no one to return an email..Version: 3.16.6

Nice bank syncing, feature poorIn terms of being a NZ customer, it syncs nicely with my bank. It's a little slow and it has to be a manual process but I can live with that. What I don't like is that there aren't many features. You can sync it to your bank, create budgets over a certain time frame and alter icons and categories. Beyond this, there's not much. Even in the Web app that claims to have more features and analysis. There isn't any way to view savings on a larger scale than a week or any way to set goals for large expenses you're saving up for. Use the trial, see if you like it - otherwise I'd go elsewhere. Unfortunately no one supports NZ banks so this is just about all I can use..Version: 3.13.0

RBC doesn’t connectWhich is a shame that with the Plaid aspect, many banking features are not supported. I like the idea of Spendee but am unable to access its features. Really hoping they make it accessible to Canadian and other banks..Version: 5.3.2

Transaction issuesI really want to love this app but I am having so many issues. It has everything I am looking for: Ability to create my own budgets with the dates and frequencies I want. The interface is easy to use. But here is where I am stuck: 1. Transactions not updating on a timely fashion. 2. When the transactions do update, it reclassified some of the transactions it updated before. This messes up my budgets because it moves items out of the buckets I have moved them to. 3. The dates on my transactions is a day before. Example, if I make a purchase 12/20 with my credit card, once that transaction appears on Spendee, it shows as 12/19. Is almost as if the app itself has the wrong date..Version: 5.2.10

Update makes Spendee more difficult than necessaryI have used Spendee on and off for several years. This new update has made it not user friendly and has made what I previously loved about the app difficult. I can no longer see at a quick glance what my remaining account balance is, it is now showing me a number in the negatives. What does this mean and what is it for. If I wanted to log back into my bank account to see how much money I have in my accounts anyways what do I need this app for. New UI is disappointingI’ve used this app for 5 years now and I’ve given the new UI 2 weeks just in case I would get used to it, but it simply lacks consistency and the flow is weird. Great price but comes shortThe app itself has very nice UI and works pretty well. For the relatively low price which also includes desktop sync, it's very good. However, this program has too many missing functions. Search function is literally useless. Doesn't state any dates for the searched transactions. Heck doesn't even sort by dates Another good thing is that you can import from other apps by using excel files. And you'd have the option to choose what info to import which is a great idea. However it's really weird how you can only export from the mobile and not on the desktop. Makes absolutely ko sense. Another thing that doesn't make sense is that you can't import transactions happening between different wallets. In the future, I hope they implement subcategories and also the ability to import (and export) transactions between wallets. Also make adding transaction much easier. Instead of going into each wallet to set the transaction, make the transaction one screen and then choose which wallet to choose..Version: 3.12.5

Syncing issuesAt first, I really love it. But then.... Connected to bank account, all transactions are imported, I spent whole day to set it up and manually corrected transaction types so i can get a nice report. The next day, got syncing problems, on setup screen, account balance is correct but on overview/detail screen, all are incorrect. Lot of transactions got duplicated. Tried to sync so many time, same issues. Then tried to disconnect then reconnect again, lost all existing transactions (that were manually corrected) and this time only few transactions got imported So disappointed I’ll cancel my subscription..Version: 3.15.8

Downgrading to 1 starEdited review: I’m downgrading this to 1 star. Spent a couple hours customizing this app when I first downloaded so different expenses would be categorized the way I want them. Despite this, when I just updated a weeks worth of new transactions from my bank accounts, they didn’t take the new categories and just defaulted to the way the app started off. Which means I have to recategorize every expense. Kind of pointless. Would take less time to manually enter every transaction to an excel spreadsheet than manually changing every category. Thanks for wasting my time, Spendee!!! Initial review: Spent a couple hours setting up my account. So far it’s buggy but I’ve gotten it to do what I need. A few specifics: —took some time to figure out how to use. No clear instructions I could find. Could be there but hidden. —crashes multiple times (iPhone 6s with up to date iOS) —the whole interface isn’t intuitive. There’s no main menu you can return to that lets you start over and get your bearings. —while they allow you to customize categorization (which some competitors I’ve tried lack), its a very clunky. I’m hoping the app will recognize how I recategorize expenses upon future bill importing and updates. If not, I’ll close account. Hopefully they’ll work some of these kinks out soon. Otherwise it does what I need, which is record expenses so I can look back month to month and see where my money is going..Version: 3.9.1

One little thing form being the best out there.Possibly one of the best out there. However keeping my family budget and my personal and all the investments is a pain due to the fact it doesn’t support transfering between accounts without logging an expense. What i have to do now is make a category in both “Expense” & “Income” called “transfer” in all my wallets. Which is crazy because almost every single app I’ve tired does offer this. Then log an expense and income in sperate wallets to fake the transfer. The problem with it is that showing an expense and statistics are broken due to that. Not sure if I’ll stick around and pay the subscription just because of such simple but necessary feature. Might just jump over to competition that makes managing multiple wallets and family budget easy. If that gets fixed then no brainer - Spendee is awesome for managing money. Terrible experienceI’m user from New Zealand. I have paid a yearly subscription because it works well and works for 2 of the banks I use, ANZ and Kiwibank. After using it for 4-5 months the app suddenly dropped support for ANZ, and it also starts timing out for Kiwibank for nearly a month. Since it no longer works for my purpose, have tried to contact Apple for a refund for the remaining unused subscription portion, but Apple has denied the refund. Think twice before you pay for a yearly subscription, and whether the app is trust worthy. Be warned, the bank you use the app may suddenly drop support and not work, your money will be gone..Version: 5.0.40

Wiped everything from my profileI had over a month of progress. Was using this to manage my spending and see how much I’m spending on what for 2021. A Spoilt AppCOMPLETELY Appalled. What a HUGE step back. Even as a Premium member I had a feeling I would regret taking this update. Ghastly visuals and more difficult user interface. How do I switch back? Seems they want to OFF board loyal users so they don’t have to fulfil the now worthless lifetime licences. Do they not realise the beauty of this app was it’s clarity/simplicity and ease of use? Though I see a few minor improvements the UI experience just aged a couple of decades. Don’t believe screenshots and reviews. Classic example of form over substance.It’s all over promising and it’s not even under-delivering. It’s just not delivering. It’s just complete silence on data loss and outstanding tickets. Tired of lame excuses like we are a small team. You did not tell me that when I subscribed. App performance is complete garbage. Sync was the key update and all my bank accounts have now missing and duplicate transactions. Tickets pending since Dec-20 and they just don’t reply to your follow up. Stay away! Network errorBeen using Spendee for a long time now, but the last few weeks I can barely log onto the app to log any expenses. App fails to open and just keeps trying to initialize showing me “Network error (such as time-out, interrupted connection or unreachable host) has occurred.” I have to try restarting the app multiple times. Sometimes it will randomly open again, but basically I can’t use the app anymore. I’ve updated to the most recent version. Please fix this!.Version: 3.16.2

The app is fine, but...It’s a great app which allows you to easily check finances and identify spend. However, its inability to auto-categorise items accurately can mean endless minutes running through your account correcting items. It does have some form of categorisation, but this is inevitably inaccurate and needs to be manually revised on a regular basis. I would happily continue to use this app, as it is certainly useful. However, the amount of user input is a time drain and certainly inconvenient..Version: 3.12.4

Can’t change dateThe software looks fine overall, but the inability to change the date on a transaction is annoying. If you buy something on 31 March and it doesn’t come out of your account until 1 April, it’s stuck in April’s budget, even if you budgeted for it in March. Or if you owe money to a friend in April, but you pay them early, you can’t change the date. A simple change that could make this software perfect!.Version: 3.13.4

App with great potentialI would like it if we can edit multiple transactions at once instead of having to individually edit each transaction takes way too long, this would make life much easier especially because I have many transactions I repeat every week or fortnight. I also had a suggestion on a really good feature to have : a way to add/scan copy of receipt for transactions.Version: 5.0.29

FrustratingI used to love this app. I first downloaded it when you didn’t need a premium subscription to connect your bank. It was so easy to use and by far the best budget app I had used. I upgraded to the “plus” subscription for multiple wallets. Then after a few months I would try to sync my transactions and it kept telling me “cannot connect right now please try again later”. So I tried again later, over and over, for a month. Nothing ever happened. Then I realized I needed to upgrade to premium just to connect my bank accounts. I was annoyed but said “you know what sure let’s do it”. However my plus subscription lasts until July, and when I tried to upgrade to the premium it won’t let me. It’s telling me to wait until my plus subscription is over just to upgrade to premium. How annoying, not even going to bother redownloading the app once my plus subscription is over..Version: 3.13.5

Good in theoryPro’s: really easy to track expenses on the go and share with partner/family. Flexible set up to suit your situation. Super effective at helping you save for things thru the transfer feature. Only 3 stars as I’ve needed to log a number of support tickets on a variety of issues. Customer service is prompt in their responses. However the issues mean the app is rendered useless. I have faith the issues will be fixed. Great potential but very buggyThe UI design of this app is beautiful and it’s great to use, most of the time, but it seems to struggle with simple things. Right now, it throws up an error message when I’m asking it to sync the wallet. Yolt, works every time without any errors but it lacks flexibility. Worst Customer Service EverI have not been able to use the app after months of having it because I cannot even login! I set a password on the app, and when I tried to login the computer it didn’t let me, and there is no way to recover password from the computer. It asked me to change the password and I tried, but their password requirements are insane! No password option I set Hera approved! Keeps telling me the password is too short! I have been trying for months! Then I write to their customer service and all they answered was, “maybe try a longer password”, and that’s it, replied and explained and they never answered again! Pretty goodI do like it but I wish it automatically updated the information from your bank rather than having to reload it every time (which takes a few minutes). I also wish there was an option to have a passcode on the app itself like some others do considering it’s showing all of your transactions. What happened?I’ve used this app for nearly 2 years now and I loved it on my iPhone 6S. Once I got my new iPhone XR, I downloaded the app to the new one and now nothing works. The app always crashes. And when I try to log in it tells me my credentials are wrong (although they arent) and when I try to “Forgot my password” for a recovery email, the app either crashes or tells me “SpendeeErrorDoman error 20.” Have been trying to retrying to see if the issue fixes for over a month now.. nothing. Trying to get used to changesI have tried other apps and this one is the one I have loved. But, with the new updates (which is great that you want to keep improving), it’s a bit confusing to use. 1. When updating it, some transactions were lost, can’t find them anymore. 2. I usually made a transfer from wallet 1 to wallet 2 and for some reason, it doesn’t give me the option anymore. It only allows me to do the transfer from wallet 2 to wallet 1. Don’t understand why. 3. As other comments state, the remaining balance at the top was super great, easy to understand. I now, feel it confusing to see the total of my spending. Please update this. 4. The graphs on the overview section, on the other hand, are really great. Easy to understand the total of my spending. 5. The font size (now smaller) and other changes can be ok (not too happy though), you just need to get used to them I guess. 3 weeks of errors with no support - Zero StarsMy husband and I have been using Spendee for almost two years now and we loved it. We are premium members and have referred our friends to this app for their budget needs. I hate budgeting and loved this app and it’s simplicity. However the last 4 updates they have released it has completely undone our accounts to the point that it has rendered the app useless to us. We have not been able to add anything to our wallet via the app or online for 3 weeks. We have contacted the support every other day for 3 weeks with little to no support or movement toward a solution. I urge you Spendee to focus on making the app work for your customers and improving the customer support. 3 weeks with very little response and help is completely unacceptable. We desperately want to stay with Spendee but you are actively forcing our hand to change. I look forward to your prompt response here since email doesn’t seem to be the way to get your attention..Version: 3.7.4

New Update Super GlitchySo I’ve used this app off and on for years and consistently for the past few months. Up until recently, I’ve had no complaints about it. However, when the recent update installed, not only did the interface change to where you have to go searching for the balance of your wallet (I preferred being able to see the account balance right next to your net savings/losses for the month), but some sort of glitch caused all of my recurring expenses to duplicate several times. Like I just spent a solid HOUR deleting all the duplicates to get my budget back to normal. Not a fun time 😕.Version: 5.0.12

Good, but...I want to love this app. The ability to link to my bank account is very useful, and the charts and icons make the information very easy to understand and track BUT It is a big problem that pending payments are unable to be edited. I can’t change the category or icon until the bank has cleared them, and by that time I often can’t remember what I paid for. This means my records often have things in the wrong category, and it is too confusing and time consuming to go back through my bank transactions to find and edit the mess. Which, in my case means the app is useless because it isn’t enabling me to do what I intended it for.Version: 3.16.6

Not all banks can be syncedWhen you see bank sync available you’d think they support all large banks. Unfortunately they do not support Chase which has over four million accounts and one of the top 10 largest banks in the US. “Priority is give to banks with the highest amount of users,” I was told - which makes sense. Just wish they made it clear that “most” banks are syncable not all. They clearly advertise, “Connect your bank and sync” which suggests any bank will work, which is false. Users must pay to use the bank sync feature, so it’s especially disappointing. The good thing about spendee is that there is a free trial so I learned of it prior to paying..Version: 3.16.4

UX issues make for poor user experienceAlthough it’s great to see features like labels to do more granular management of finances, the UX makes the experience somewhat painful. When moving backwards and forwards between screens, whatever screen you’re on refreshes and scrolls away from your last position to the top of the screen. So if like me you prefer to manage in “batches” then you’ll need to do a lot of scrolling and searching for the last item you were editing - a terrible user experience. That auto refresh will also interrupt any action you have just started so sometimes you might get to the next item on the list and sometimes you get sent to the top of the page..Version: 5.0.16

Stopped automatically tracking expensesThe main draw was I connected it to my bank account and all expenses appeared on the dashboard within a day or two. It stopped doing this so doesn’t function as advertised. Support always replies but doesn’t offer a permanent fix.Version: 5.3.6

OkayIt’s ok for budgeting and tracking current spending. I like the aesthetics, font, and colors. It’s pretty. Functionality though felt limited. Bought the plus version hoping for more detail and organization for weekly breakdowns and balances, but was sorely disappointed. The free version of spending tracker is better for this actually, though not as pretty layout. Wish it would have these features: - be able to swipe left to see what month by month for upcoming months balance in real-time reflection of current spending -have the option to show future weeks and balance for each week. Right now the balance is what is current, without taking into account future scheduled expenses. It’s confusing bc you can’t see your balance at the end of each week - have the option to show scheduled expenses in the upcoming weeks under the month view so you get a whole month overview and can anticipate the next week or two at least or the rest of the month - in budgets section, show the remaining amount out of total budgeted amount. Right now you don’t see the total budget, you just see what’s remaining.Version: 3.16.4

New update is taking way too longI used to like this app. 5 star. But for the last few months it has been terrible. All my scheduled transactions doubled up and it took forever to delete the doubled up transaction. Also, some transactions were missing. I used the web application and it was working fine. Now thats unavailable and I’ve been waiting for months for “Spendee 5”. The only update is, it will be available in middle of November. It’s 1st of December today and nothing has changed. Really really useful but...It annoys me that in the overview screen I cannot select the 'year' view to come up as defult to keep track of balances etc. Would also really like if there was an option in that screen to have a 'since started using' option to make keeping track of things easier. Its so far from user friendly that I, a long time user, had to relearn how to use it...with difficulty. This app has a huge learning curve. The old methods of seperating your purchases into trackable categories is not possible. Instead of simple easy to apply hash tags, its all preorganised categories that you apply in a seperate menu...why make things more difficult?! Just why?! Data corruption with recurring expensesI've used Spendee for years and the app used to be a good experience for tracking costs. In the last year however it has started currupting user data. Recurring expenses show up randomly 0-30 times each time they occur. With 10+ recurring expenses this quickly corrupts all your data and cleaning it up manually in the app would take hours and hours. The only real option is exporting the data and cleaning it up in a spreadsheet. Might as well stop using the app at that point. Avoid the app if you also want to track recurring things, you may end up with badly corrupted data..Version: 3.15.2

Terrible AppNon-functional at its best and destructive at its worst DO NOT get this app if you intend to accurately track your spending. Data is often lost with Spendee customer service providing no help whatsoever. Luckily for the time being, Spendee has an error on start up meaning you can now save yourself the hassle of losing all your budgetary data by getting any other app. Was going to give it a second chance but they’ve saved me the trouble. Too much manual workEven if you have your bank account synced, it’s a lot of manual work and very time consuming. It doesn’t recognise automatic payments (e.g weekly / fortnightly payments). If you recategorise a regular payment because Spendee assumed it incorrectly, it doesn’t remember it for next time. Lost 40% of Transactions :(I’ve been using this app for over 2 years and I have hundreds of transactions listed. The new updates changed dollar amounts, categories and I lost nearly 40% of my previous reported transactions. One example is my monthly mortgage payment was counted 6 times in one month or paychecks being reported as a few hundred instead of a few thousand. I’ve already spent a few hours looking over my exports and either re-entering the transactions or correcting them. I’m still no where near though making all of the corrections. I’m so upset I lost all of this information despite always using the back up. What’s needed to make it truly usableTo effectively manage a budget, i have to be able to look at the budget DAILY and see that I am on track. This is not feasible now because major purchases unnecessarily throw me off budget. For example, if I buy today a $5,000 family getaway including airline tickets and hotels, and the trip is scheduled to occur next year, I’d like to be able to spread the $5,000 across the specific days of the trip. Similarly, if I buy a sofa or a new iPhone, or a car(!). I now have this major purchase that unnecessarily throws me off my monthly, and possibly annual budget. If I could spread the expense across its lifetime, that problem goes away. This would enable me to look at the budget daily, and see how I’m doing. Specifically, what I need is: in the budget view the ability to set an accrual schedule for a transaction - when does it start, and across what period to spread it. This feature already exists for Cash transactions. All Spendee needs to do is enable this logic in the Budget view. So I spread the iPhone across, say, 4 years. And I spread the getaway package across 2 weeks, starting on the first day of my getaway..Version: 5.3.0

From 4 to 1...no meaningful updatesSpendee was once a glorious app. It even connected to my back account. Before that it would even recognize my location and auto tag a transaction. It was awesome. Then they removed the geo location feature followed by the connection to many many US banks. If you are Chase customer you’ll be pleased to see Chase’s logo on their website as a supported bank, but once you are in the app it isn’t even a supported option. When every other financial app is using the Plaid connection method, you’d think Spendee could offer something similar. Especially to those of us that pay for a “premium” account. I do believe the heart of this app and the company behind it are in the right spot. But it all couldn’t be managed any more poorly than a current leaders failed campaign. Deleted all my transactionsI’ve used Spendee for over three years. In February, I opened it to see that all my transactions from January and February, and the entire year before it were gone. I emailed Spendee on the 8th of February and received an automated confirmation email but no response. I emailed again on the 22nd of February to no avail. Today is the 16th of March and Spendee has failed to respond let alone fix the problem. I’ve seen on Facebook that lots of other people have the same issues. Been using this for nearly a year after deciding to switch from my old Expense app and wow, this is leagues better. The old one I was using was popular but became too "behind the times." Lots of potential but inconsistent and buggyI was delighted when I found this app as it offers a lot of the functionality that I have been looking for. I have sent the same support request to them 3 times, on each occasion you get an automated reply after 3 days saying sorry for the delay but they will get back to me, but never have. Decent but the useful features don’t workI have been using Spendee for years. I enter each transaction by hand and I’m fine with that method and not connecting my bank account. My issue comes with the recurring payments that keep shifting dates. I like to double check and review all my transactions from time to time and compare them with receipts I have, but then I have to remind myself to change all the dates for my recurring bills as well. It’s highly obnoxious as I don’t have a clear idea of my monthly spending until I have done so. I was going to switch to the ‘every 4 weeks’ setting, but I know that will still cause my dates to be wrong. Please work on fixing this as many people would like to use that functionality for monthly payments (something virtually every person has)..Version: 3.11.7

Version 3.7.2 is a broken, unusable messThe Latest update forced which introduced a forced ‘category merge and combine’ across wallets has completely destroyed individual wallet organisation and usability. I’m so very disappointed that they’ve rolled out an update without adequate testing, which has essentially broken it completely. Very good money trackerI really like it, tried a couple but in the end stick with this one. Even bought a year subscription. I am missing to compare selected hashtags with each other. Would make the overview more accurate for me. Plus, doesn’t support all banks in Australia which is a miss. Edit after 9 months of use: I am over it. The app is not reliable at all. It shows double and triple amounts, it’s deleting and adding categories like it wish. My partner and me, even we are sharing one wallet have completely different amounts and different categories showing us. It feels like the whole app is still a beta version. Works fine for same bank account using other money tracking apps (MoneyBrilliant, MoneyTree, Pocketbook....) Support team come back with generic templated responses. Provided no suggestions for troubleshooting and person I dealt with openly admitting they have no I.T. experience. They claim they have no diagnostic or logging data to explain why the auto-sync fails (manual sync in app with stored credentials is fine). This claim must be false. If it is true then everyone should question how secure this product is in the event of hacking/unauthorised access breaches to your account via their servers. It must be logged. It’s evident it’s not worth their time investigating. If they can keep most of their users happy and the constant flow of subscription income coming in they can afford to lose some customers. In regards to generic responses and processes expect to see them reply to this review saying how unfortunate it is that I’m having issues and that they’ll reach out via email blah blah blah. Change it back!I use this app as my check book ledger. It’s so nice to have my ledger right on my phone. I even pay for the plus version. However, this new update has moved my account balance or “total wealth” as its now called to a totally different screen. I have to keep going back and forth from entering my spending, to my “total wealth” screen. It would be nice to have my account balance in the same screen as my spending. I am kinda liking using it a lotIts a great app overall, been using it for a while manually aka free version, but I decided to try the premium version. But every single time I try to check my three cards on two bank accounts I have to try around three to five times to login again, once they are setup again they work flawlessly. Less annoying, but still bothering, is that I cannot change the category that the app picks for a transaction. And last complaint, when I export my movements to an excel file, the file is named with a series of numbers, rather than the wallet or months in the report or something that kinda makes sense. Changed - but not for the betterThis app used to be incredible but it has shifted emphasis and is now less about *spending* than accumulation: summary data at top of day or wallet shows balance and net cashflow but NOT total EXPENSES. Whether you are ruthlessly frugal or burning money as quickly as it comes in the net cashflow figure is the same. This is unhelpful and does not highlight excessive *spending* in real time. Sadly It’s no longer as useful for spotting periods of over-spending and curbing bad habits. My spending habits have changed without that “signal”.Version: 5.2.8

Faulty and lackingAfter taking multiple failed attempts to load my bank accounts, it finally managed to sync up. However, then I discover that you’re unable to set up any “scheduled” recurring transactions for a “wallet” linked to your back account. What’s the point of a budgeting app if I can’t even add upcoming recurring payments simply and easily? Even the “Budgets” section is extremely convoluted and confusing and doesn’t seem to link with the “Wallets” at all well. “Lifetime” membership only lasted a few months before they stopped supporting my bankA few months after I paid for the lifetime membership, I got an email saying that my bank is no longer supported, which is the whole reason I purchased the subscription, so my transactions would automatically feed in. In the App Store when you try and get a refund, it only allows you to request a refund for the past few months purchases, and I had bought it slightly longer than 3 months earlier. There is no contact details for apple or any way to send a personalised message to apple to ask to get this lifetime membership refunded as now the app is useless to me with out the integrated bank statement. When I emailed Spendee they said they can’t do anything and I have to get a refund through apple. As a result I have paid $120 for a “lifetime” service I could only use for a few months. Waste of money and wish I was made aware that they can stop supporting certain banks and I wouldn’t be refunded.Version: 5.1.1

Could be better!1/ You need to be able to search for transactions in a certain account, not just search all accounts from the ‘Wallets’ home page. 2/ Be able to split transactions? Eg. Separate Groceries from Pet food. 3/ Would be nice to Add ‘assets or investments’, not just typical wallets. 4/ Rather than ‘Hide’ an account and losing account value, hide it via an archive method and still utilise the value / data (especially if it’s an investment/asset wallet you hardly use). 5/ Option to remove or clear unwanted notifications on the ‘Activity’ page. Eg. bank connection is on hold. 6/ Planned payments. 7/ The ‘Share Wallet’ system needs work. Rather than sharing one wallet at a time, you need to share wallets in one window collectively (from settings), and choose the accounts to be accessed (including being an admin, read only, read & write, read and track) etc… 8/ Bank sync issues (‘pending’ transactions were duplicated and stuck) had to log out, then log back in to remove these. No new features, support gives false informationWhile other apps are adding Apple Watch apps, widgets and Siri shortcuts, Spendee is stuck in 2019 pushing NFTs. It's been 3 years since Apple introduced widgets and Spendee has been promising them since then - still nothing. It's been 4 years since Apple introduced shortcuts, Spendee still doesn't support them. It's been years since Spendee support has been promising an offline mode so we can input expenses when we're traveling with no internet, still nothing. Their supported bank list is shrinking and the only reason I'm still paying for Pro is the multiple wallets and muli-currency support. As soon as i find an app that does both, I'm out. Waste of time and money! No support, the app has a lot of bugsI’ve been using this app more than 1 year but at once it stopped to sync my 2 main bank accounts. Poor app, many duplicate or missing charges, more work than necessaryI tried my best to like this app but the issues continued adding up until I decided using my own excel spreadsheets was more efficient. Issues included duplicate entries, missing entries and constantly getting logged out because of issues with my banks security. In addition the app was unable, over 4 months, to recognize that I was consistently changing categories for certain charges from the same vendors (should the logic in the app not recognize this at some point?). Not There .. Just YetI really wanted to like this app, but most of what I wanted to do wasn’t there or wasn’t made easy enough to use, which unfortunately made me dislike the app just a little. I had a Spendee Plus Free Trial which I cancelled due to the lack of main features. As someone coming from Pocket Expense Pro I was very excited about the beautiful interface of this app, but was also expecting to see the following features: 1: The ability to transfer money between wallets - this is something people do on a daily basis, something that I do a lot, so why is this feature not there? I did contact the Spendee team and they did say it is a feature that will be coming soon. 2: Scheduled payments do not work for me - like most people, I have a lot of bills to pay on a monthly basis. Even though I am able to add scheduled payments, I would like to see the ability to view the total of all my schedule payments in a calendar view - not a list view. It’s much easier to have a look at a calendar and see when your next bills are due in one glance rather than going down a list. It’s good to see you guys have designed a pretty app but it needs to be more functional. I am keeping it on my phone as I’m excited to see if the features I have listed will be added in future updates, but going back to Pocket Expense until that has been fixed..Version: 3.9.2

Missed potential. Unreliable appThis app has so much potential, but too many bugs. I’ve used it on and off for 18 months or so. It was great for the first six. Since then, it’s lost all my transactions a few times; right now I’m missing about eight weeks’ worth, for no apparent reason; and I have to recategorise almost every transaction because Spendee isn’t intelligent enough to learn when I recategorise something, say, three times (the huge majority of my transactions are from a small group of local shops, so it’s had plenty of time to learn how I’d like them to be categorised). Other apps I’ve tried don’t have these problems and save me time - but I come back to Spendee because other apps don’t separate out your accounts so well. Lost data and can’t get in contactI’ve been using this app on and off for almost two years and I’ve loved it! But I recently updated the app and it failed to initialize on my phone so I downloaded it again and logged into my account and I can’t find any of the transactions I added from the last 8 months. I also logged in online to see if it was a bug on the app but I also couldn’t find them there. I tried to contact Spendee via the support button on their app but the “send” button wouldn’t work and there is no other way to contact them. Getting worseI have been using application for years and it is getting worse and worse, sometimes it is recording transaction under incorrect category by overwriting last transaction, but what is the biggest fault - application does ask only date but record both date and time for the transaction and, when displaying, using local timezone, which completely messing up your entire budget as it is shorting transactions to the different days etc. Completely useless for budgeting app not being able to count budget properly.Version: 5.3.6

Utterly uselessI paid for the full account and it’s completely useless. I have my credit card linked. The app holds the transactions ‘in process’ for days, dropping them on random days of the week - so there’s no true running total of your spending. June 2020 multiple problems2 years Spendee subscriber here, absolutely loved the app but lately I have seen multiple problems that can’t be fixed. 1. Web app and mobile app hasn’t been able to sync since Jan 2020 2. My premium account bought just a few months ago, has been downgraded to a free (trial) version, and the dev team does not know why and hasn’t been able to fix the problem. I cannot add a wallet and do all the other premium functions despite having paid money for it. 3. The function “Restore in-app purchase” when clicking on it, always shows the message “error” 4. The app has become pretty slow, it might be because I have been using it for two years, everyday, the app does not seem to be able to hold that much amount of data. It takes time to load once I opened the app. It’s a good app if there weren’t so many problems ,I would not pay for it if I didn’t think it was good, but so many bugs that has not been fixed over months since I have started emailing supoort team, who were trying to help, but only kept suggesting that use the web app, and disregard the fact that I told them many times my web app hasn’t been syncing with my mobile app for over 6 months. Nobody (staff) has offered me a solution or a refund option which I have asked for over the past two months..Version: 3.16.2
