✓ Complete conRegardless what people are saying this app is a waste of time, they are not going to pay you for playing games without anything in it for them, I’ve just played a slot machine game, have to get to level 40 to be paid 59p I was winning comfortably until I got to level 38 when I lost 12,000,000 in about 5 minutes, then they offer you a bonus amount of coins for just £2.99 this is where they make their money, you pay the £2.99 the game company gives them £1.00 they pay you 59p and they make 41p per mug they send their. All you are doing is making money for them. Their is no way a company would pay you just to play a game unless theirs something in it for them. Avoid this scam and enjoy your own hard earnt money. ✓ Concept Of The App Is GreatThe actual concept of the app is great. I like the idea of playing games and getting paid to do that. HOWEVER, to actually get paid to play some of these games are darn near impossible because the levels that you have to reach are outrageous. I mean yes the lower levels you can make some change but to actually make the big money that the games offer you have to reach of double digits to even start getting into the dollars range. Then there is the issue of being able to cash out the money that you’ve earned. In the Testerup app you can’t even cash out until you have reached $70 in your account. Also, I wanted to switch the device I was playing my game on with the testerup app and when I had everything all downloaded onto my tablet and went to get the game I was playing the app wouldn’t let me download the game again so I could continue playing where I left off. ✓ If you like playing mobile games it is definitely worth getting!Everything is reasonably straightforward. Don’t make the mistake of downloading too many games like I did. It gets pretty hectic and time consuming. I would probably have given the game at least a four star rating but I spent a lot of time playing a game and it didn’t register properly, even though I followed all of the steps. On the plus side the customer service is pretty good and all of my other problems got sorted fairly quickly and the representative that I spoke to was very polite and helpful even if I might have gotten slightly frustrated at times. Obviously I would have preferred to have no problems but would we all!😂 I haven’t tried to cash out yet but all of the money I have earned is in my testerup account so I’m assuming that will work out fine. 🤞.Version: 1.9.91

✓ UnreliableOk, so the concept is good, the reality is pretty shocking. Firstly you have to make a minimum of £70 to cash out. Secondly, most of the games you will be testing will require you to deposit money, probably a minimum of £10 each time, and lastly once you have followed the download instructions and started playing the game, testerup will then deny that you have downloaded the game so will not reward you anyway, so ultimately they are getting paid the money and due to “technical” issues this won’t be passed on to you. Support will not help, but will also tell you that it is your fault that this happened because you did not press the right buttons……. ✓ Don’t waste your timeI started testerup about a week ago give it take. The first two offers I downloaded didn’t count, so I emailed support and got a response within a decent time frame 24ish hours from my support claim but instead of fixing it, was told I didn’t download the game through there “button” which obviously I had, I mean I didn’t go into the App Store and search the games to download, I followed the steps correctly as I read before hand. I didn’t mind though, decided to try another offer. This time I recorded as I downloaded it. All went super smoothly. All the milestones were getting ticked off normally the first 2 days. I got to the next milestone which the payout for it was a bit higher than the first milestones ($2.00) and it never ticked off. Completed 2 more levels and waited over 48 hours before contracting support as I thought maybe it just wasn’t being counted yet. I waited a good 5 days before I got an email back stating I didn’t follow their rules and guidelines and used a vpn 😂 I use mobile data not Wi-Fi or anything else. Nothing different was even done for that one milestone compared to the others that had worked just fine. I’m just writing this out to let people know they seem to make excuses to not pay out. ✓ Testery ReviewI do really like this app, i haven’t been able to cash out yet but i also haven’t fully completed any offers. it takes a really long time to finish an offer and personally i feel like they should give you more time to finish it since not everyone has as much free time as i do, and im not even able to finish them. most offers say either 30 or 60 days im pretty sure (could be 60 or 90 tbh i can’t remember), and i feel like i definitely need longer since some games say you need to get to level 100 or 1000 to complete it and get the whole amount of money promised. i currently have around $22 in my app and you need at least $70 to cash out which is a little annoying… i’ll keep using the app though because i’m not able to get a job right now. overall i like it but the offers shouldn’t have a time limit imo, and the cash out minimum is very high considering the realistic amount of money you’re able to earn on this app. it’s most definitely not a quick-money kind of deal, you gotta work hard for it.Version: 1.9.91
✓ UnhelpfulI was liking this app. I had earned around $200 when suddenly my account was suspended. I emailed customer service and was told it blocked me for using a VPN. I replied that I don’t use a VPN and asked how to correct it. They reactivated my account, but it was suspended again a couple hours later. I once again contacted the customer service and was given the same response every time that I was blocked for using a VPN. I tried to ask how to further appeal as I do not use VPN. They told me the same reply about being suspended for using a VPN. I asked to further appeal, and they did not reply. I put in another request to ask that they escalate the situation, and they did not reply. I emailed again, and it’s been over a week and I still have not heard anything. I emailed again asking for the information on arbitration, and they have no answered. When they were still answering me, I said they should at least pay me what I’ve earned and then close my account. ✓ I’m not sureI like the idea of this app. It introduces me to new games I may not have found before and says I’ll get paid for trying them, however I’m still having trouble getting the app to update my progress on a couple of the games. Both Puzzles and Chaos and Garden Joy are at the “Install and Launch” point in spite of my having played and leveled up multiple times. I have followed all instructions and allowed all tracking, so the problem isn’t on my end. It was fine with the Yahtzee game and said I earned $8, so it works when it works, but I’m not sure I can vouch for an app that only works on one or two games and not all the games it has available. ✓ Be prepared to not receive all of your earned moneyI tried this app out recently after reading a review online. Everything seemed simple enough. However, at one point I noticed that the app registered a later level reward but not some priors. At the time I thought it was just a timing issue, but after several more registered levels and the same prior levels still not updating, I reported it. They took several weeks to respond (conveniently after I decided to cash out), and told me I didn’t get the rewards because their system detected “irregular activities” from my account. When I asked for proof so I could understand, they could not provide anything. So they want to call me a cheater without providing any evidence. My advice is avoid this app and their lies. However, if you do use it, make sure they register your earned level before proceeding in the game. My guess is I was clearing levels too quick for their system and so they thought I was cheating. ✓ Promising App to earn some money…The idea of being paid to test games is brilliant. Testerup is essentially a third-party that allows you to gain money for simply playing a game that are promoted by game developers. In the current state of Testerup, you will be able to make what I consider a bit of pocket money. The problem right now is that the ratio of hours put into a game to money earned is extremely unbalanced. For instance, I have been playing a game for ~25 hours over the course of 20 days… and I am only being payed £15 for this. We all know that these game companies are achieving extremely high profit margins, so for testers such as myself to be paid at such a low rate is evidently extortionate. For this app to be truly successful, they should be making the income of tesing games more stable and reliable. You are basically working at a fraction of minimum wage at this point. I hope that they read this and understand my point of view. All in all, this app could be a very good source of income in this day in age… but you have to treat your workers fairly for this to work. ✓ Waste of timeThe system is not as easy as it seems. You have to reach about level 50 of a game in order to even receive around 20 dollars. And you can’t even really play all 50 rounds in one day unless you pay to have more coins/diamonds to complete tasks. ✓ Okay but flawedFirst off, you can make money. I’ve made about $160 in a month and fully cashed out my balance twice. However, there are some flaws in the system here. My first issue was when I went to cash out. Attempting to cash out kept giving me error message after error message. I contacted support and never got a response (may be because they’re in Germany). Finally after trying repeatedly I was able to cash out, and got my funds in about 2 days. This isn’t an isolated incident, my second cash out had the same issues. I thought maybe the app was just messing up, but when I attempt to use the website it says my login isn’t valid. Now finally, my biggest issue with the app. After two cash outs, every new game I download is not registering on the app, and not tracking my progress. For now I’m not going to invest any more time trying to download games because of this. I’d love to revisit the app if the bugs get fixed because it was fun, easy money! When I tried to withdraw for monies earned from master match everything disappeared but I have recently been able to find the account with with said money back in. However you have to reach £70 and writing a review will apparently give me more offers as u have yet to be able to withdraw from this site. I am awaiting £2.50 but at the moment the completion status is buffering. I really hope this is a genuine site as I have put a lot of time into getting the above amount. ✓ Misleading and VERY Time-ConsumingHonestly, I was excited to be able to play a game in my free time and make a little cash, but you really have to be dedicated to that game because it takes a lot of time to earn money. I just completed my first game (and did not reach the max payout because I would have to be active a LOT on that game to achieve that) and I earned $14 after spending many hours playing it. I claimed my payout, but I can’t actually receive any money until I reach $80 total in my account. If you’ve got the time to spend all of you’re free time playing these games, this is great for you. If you’re someone who wants to just chill out and play games for a little while when you get the chance, you’re probably not actually going to make any money from playing these games and it’s definitely not worth letting the app track everything you do (which is a requirement, by the way). ✓ Doesn’t Seem PromisingI was somewhat excited when I first discovered this app a week or two ago. However, that feeling has quickly changed into frustration. A few of the games are okay, but some of them require so much time to be put into them to even go up a single level. You would have to pour a lot of time into this to get anywhere on most offers. Not only that, but some milestones simply do not register no matter what. How did I get to Dragon Power Level 300 without reaching Level 20? It also didn't properly track purchases on some games. I was even kicked off of one game for supposedly participating in "suspicious activity," which never happened. I have written a few tickets into support and have yet to get a response on any of them. I finally found a game that I was really looking forward to, and it didn't even register that I installed the game (yes, I used their link). I can't progress with anything until they fix this, because I'll miss out on all of the milestone rewards. It also did it to me on another game today. At this point, I'm a very frustrated user. ✓ Scammers and a waste of time!!!Originally I was very happy with this app. I have done other apps like it before but the goals for pay outs always took too long. Once I began really gathering money and getting close to the pay out they sent me a fraud alert claiming I was using a VPN when I am NOT. I sent them multiple emails but their customer service is slow to respond and even when they do they seem like robots. Frustrated I gave up trying to dispute that and continued games figuring they would eventually work it out, yet again when I gather another $20 they completely deactivate my account and take all my funds claiming I am not living in US, UK, or Canada and can’t participate, I AM IN TEXAS! Clearly any time you gather any substantial funds they just make up reasons to take away money you earned even when you’ve followed the TOS completely. ✓ Fun games and have fun getting paidWell after using this for about a month the best thing I can say about it was that I learned about some new games. Getting paid is very difficult because you have to earn at least $70 (paid via paypal). This is not easy. The high paying games require you to get to high levels which is nearly impossible without making expensive in-game purchases. The low paying games mean that it will take you forever to get to the $70 minimum. The concept of paying game testers is cool but I’d rather make faster progress and rack up $5 gift cards instead of playing for weeks and getting nothing. What’s the point of getting people to sign up only to frustrate them? I truly enjoy playing games and actually have real life experience as a tester. My feedback and others like me could be very useful. ✓ Being offered pennies for hours of my timeThe app is a lot better at refreshing rewards in real time than compared to the website. I do wish the amounts advertised were easier to achieve, but still rewarding me something for my time is nice. I tested a game that had a $126 payout and after 3 hours and 2 in app purchases that I couldn’t afford (unemployed and disabled so income is definitely not enough to afford a million in app purchases) I gave up, deleted the app I was testing, took the 3 question survey at the end, and got a $4 payout. Also, I do wish the earning breakdown was available to view before accepting anything. If it’s just a download and then I don’t get a penny until level 300, those tests aren’t worth my time. ✓ Great—When it worksI was skeptical at first because I’ve tried apps like this in the past and have had no success, but this app actually does reward you—when it works. I’ve only had a few issues in the time I’ve been using it, and it’s successfully credited my account when I’ve redeemed the tasks. However, issue number one is that you have to have app tracking on for the tasks to work. This issue was resolved within a few days thanks to their support team—though I unfortunately missed out on those rewards. My second issue, which has still not been resolved yet—nearly a week later—is that almost every task disappeared, including one that I was working on, and I have no way to claim the rewards from it. Because I signed up through the app using the fingerprint scanner to sign in, I never had to make a password. The link sent via milestone emails takes me to the website, which I can’t log into because I don’t have a password. They STILL have not gotten back to me as of 25/9, and I’m very frustrated with the slow response. Aside from the technical difficulties, it’s been a decent experience and I’ve already recommended it to friends. ✓ Great concept, poor executionI really like the concept of this app BUT, despite following instructions, very rarely does the app recognise I’ve downloaded a game, so it doesn’t update progress and no rewards can be earned. I can’t find a way of getting help with this in the app either. Even when it does update, the amount of time you have to spend on the games to reach the levels isn’t really worth the reward, so it’s only really worth doing if you enjoy the game(s) you’ve chosen. ✓ Terrible customer service is a jokeI started this app and made a few dollars but then saw it take $70 before you can get paid anything. I ended a couple games early because I wasn’t a fan. ✓ No Customer ServiceI’ve been using TesterUp for about 3 weeks. At first, the first 3-4 offers I started tracked fine. I even fully completed one, closed out 2 early, and still had 2 in process. Then, last week, I started trying to begin a few more offers just to make a little extra money before cashing out. Absolutely none out of the 4-5 I started tracked. Some didn’t even track that I had downloaded the app. I attempted to reach out to customer service regarding the issue, and sent in two tickets with no response. Then, in the process, I reached a new goal for one of the originally downloaded (and perfectly tracked) offers, but this goal wasn’t tracked. So I closed out the two original active offers I was still working on, and I’m well over the withdraw threshold. It’s been 24 hours and I still haven’t gotten an email confirming my funds were being sent to my PayPal. I’d be happy to change my review if someone reaches out to rectify this issue, but I’ve sent in multiple tickets over a week ago & nobody has responded to me at all. ✓ One main problemUpdate: I mainly have one big problem and that’s the fact that sometimes I can download an app through the link and even open it from the App Store and play it for awhile but it won’t show that I installed the app so I’m then unable to make any money from that app. If they could fix that then I wouldn’t have any problems with this app. This app is a lot easier to navigate and understand than some other apps where you can make money playing games. ✓ Doesn’t workI have been a Software/Application Test Engineer for over 20 years. When I saw this I thought it would be a great opportunity to earn a little bit of money on the side while I decompress by playing games. I followed the instructions, which I took screenshots of and printed them out, but I’m finding that this is just a place where games are advertised and they’re just trying to get you to play the games. They most likely get some type of payment for getting people to install and play the games using their links. It’s called affiliation and it pays pretty well. If you contact one of the games’ developers (like Yahtzee), they will tell you that they do not pay the creators of “testerup” to test their game. They have their own in-house testers. So ask yourself, why would these people pay strangers to test games that they have nothing to do with? Answer is, they don’t! But if you click on a game, through their app, and play it, as the instructions tell you to, they get paid. All I’m going to say is that they better watch out because someone is most likely going to sue them real soon. ✓ RubbishI played the game all day that they wanted me to test. During the time of me playing it and reaching all different goals in the game the app would not update or take ages to update. Then, after getting some money from getting the ticks to finally to appear, I wanted to claim it and it didn’t let me by telling me that there are too many attempts from other people and I need to play a different game, so all of that was a waste. After I played another game, the ticks wouldn’t appear, and after trying to reload the app and the game which i was testing, I receive an email saying that I tried to scam the app and that i didn’t actually do the tasks and cheated. So they removed that game from my offers with the excuse of me basically cheating, which I didn’t do, literally spent so much time on it. ✓ UntrustworthyThis app started out to be pretty cool, get paid to play games and wow!! It was true. I got paid a little over $100 for my first “job” and that was super cool. But then, all good things tend to end don’t they. Well, that’s true. I spent hours on one game and surpassed many of the levels until I wanted to cash out. And realized the app hadn’t crited me for reaching the appropriate levels in the game. So, as most of us would I contacted customer support over and over again each time following the suggestions to get credit for completing the goal. And after each support reply I would follow the instructions provided to the customer service team and would never get a solution. I’m very disappointed that I did as I was asked and was still just left with nothing for what I did. After numerous failed attempts at getting what was rightfully mine I decided to let other players beware of the fact you might not get paid. ✓ UnreliableLike the concept. Play games, win money with some generous payouts. Some of the games are fun too. Things that need improvement though are: 1) make sure that the app detects when the game is installed without fail. Too may times have I installed a game, allowed tracking and gone back to the app, refreshed the page and it’s still not detected it’s installed. Goes without saying this is fundamental as you won’t get paid a cent until it is detected. Someone needs to explore all the ways this can break and have them fixed, hence my title 2) when you start an offer, actually display the date you started at least and preferably display when the offer ends for you (I.e. when the 30 days is up), just something that would allow us to work out how long we have 3) have something track the state of the app and re-render when the app has been left running and open in the background. I’ve come back to the app having left it open for a while and it’s gone stale: all I see is a blank page and the burger icon with no sign of it refreshing. I have to restart the app to get it back into a state I can use it again 4) not a fan of turning tracking on for obvious reasons. Find another way 5) try to vary the games a bit more. ✓ DONT WASTE TIME ON THIS APPApp is a huge waste of time. Do not bother with it. You will spend tens to hundreds of hours for a few measly dollars. After about 15 hours of gameplay I got $1.20. Find a real game testing job on indeed, there’s tons. I had won a big in game reward and won a million tokens (wasn’t even the most you could win, there are higher rewards) immediately after I got an email saying my account was flagged for cheating and all my earned rewards were taken away and no future possibility of earning anything else for the game I was playing. ✓ DisappointedI’ve had this app for quite some time. The app does pay you I have earned around $80. However, if you progress in a game too quickly they will flag you for cheating and you won’t make anything. This has happened to me twice now. The first time I have no clue why I was flagged and I never heard back for months when I reached out about the error and was given no help with the response apologizing for the delay and that was it. This time I progressed through a game quickly by PAYING for things in the app knowing that testerup has a reward for your first in app purchase. I bought 2 different things that helped me progress through the game a bit but due to this it stopped my progress from moving forward. I reached out to get help over 2 weeks ago. Send proof of the purchases, my app progress and everything else they asked for. They said they would pass it along to the correct party to look into the issue. However I have still not heard back and there is a time limit for how long you can progress through the game with testerup to make money. I refuse to waste my time playing a game I don’t even care for for money it doesn’t appear I will even be getting. Learned my lesson. ✓ Ok good and badI can say the app is legit. I reached $70 and was able to cash out. It took about a week but it went to my PayPal. The problem I have is the 2nd time around was making my way up and had about $40 and was playing a word game. This game was fairly easy and I was able to level up quickly. The game kicked me out and accused me of using some automation device to play the game. I tried reaching out but they blocked my account. So I guess you have to play slow. Another tip is after installing game make sure you have the check mark and so forth after each goal. If there’s no check no matter how far you go you will not get the credit. The ad makes it sound so wonderful, but it’s totally the opposite.You can choose any game you would like to play, however, half the time when you download it through the app, it doesn’t even acknowledge that you downloaded it, does not track your progress. They claimed to have sent the payment but I never recieved it! And after over a week of waiting I contacted them. They then told me that they were backed up but would have it in my account by end of week…so I stayed in touch but then still nothing. They just kept giving me the run around to wait I would receive! ✓ A little cumbersome to navigate but good ideaThe concept of the app is great and I think it could easily be the main way people play games going forwards. As much as the idea is great, I think there’s some room for improvement in its execution… 1️⃣ the app doesn’t update the total earned so far. Mine still shows £0.00. My wife’s showed a total and now reads £0.00. 2️⃣It would be good to see a total for finished /completed games and a total for active games yet to complete/close. 3️⃣A breakdown/summary page of what games a user has currently active, amount earned, last milestone met and next milestone is required. It is a bit clunk having to drill down into each game to check your progress and then come up and drill into the next. I do find myself constantly going in and out the app trying to work out how many more levels I need to pass to reach my next goal. 4️⃣Some sort of timer/countdown showing how many days are left for each active game. There’s a chance users could miss out on their hard worked earnings if they don’t close out, which is going to lead to negativity towards the app. 6️⃣The goals for the games don’t seem proportionate in some instances. £1.00 to play 100 times then £1.50 to play another 300 times. Games with rewards on a play by play model should payout on an equal proportion.7️⃣ I think the UI of the app could look a lot slicker. ✓ Swim at your own riskI think they must have deleted the original post that you see below but I’m not sure. It’s just that I scrolled for a long way, way past the date that I left the review and couldn’t find it. I still stand by what I originally said. they may delete this post. In that case I’m wasting my time. I still have not gotten a response to my complaint or any of the multiple emails I have sent. I see the positive posts that are on here but find it suspicious there are no negative or even less than stellar reviews showing. And even after the 1 star rated negative review that I posted they still have not responded to me. I don’t believe anyone gets paid but I do believe they hire people to put the positive reviews and erase anything less than that. ✓ So far so good!I’ve been using tester up for a few months now and have cashed out 2 times for $70 something each time. The things I don’t like about this app are 1. A lot of times the tracking doesn’t work properly even if you follow the button they provide you to download the apps through. And when they don’t register that you’ve downloaded the app and have started playing it, support just tells you that you didn’t download the app properly with their link even tho you do. 2. You have to build up at least $70 to cash out which can take months with the ridiculous goals they require you to meet for such small dollar amount rewards for them. 3. It can take days to receive your payout to PayPal once requested. Other than those things they have sent me both my payouts I earned. ✓ I wouldn’t recommendI’ve had to get in touch a few times when they haven’t measured my progress or underpaid me which can be a little frustrating. This time I spent many hours on an app just to find my progress had not been measured. This was due to a technical issue on their part but they refused to refund me for this which is quite upsetting. You cannot take any money out until you reach a minimum of 70 GBP which can take months depending on which games you play and whether they decide to pay you for them or not. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are able to get in touch with them constantly and wait for quite a long time before you receive any pay out. ✓ If it works it’s okThis app would be great if the app could be relied on to track properly, about 50% of the games I have downloaded have not done this, the little wheel just keep whirring on ‘install’ If you email support they are also useless, telling me each and every times it’s my fault for not downloading it properly through their button and allowing tracking… which is complete rubbish because the steps to follow are not rocket science and I follow each step each time as per their screens and a lot of the time it doesn’t work. This is a failing of their app, nothing to do with my ability to download a game and allow tracking so they need to sort that out. I also use Tester Buddy. This app is much more user friend, easier to see what games you have downloaded as the pages for new games are separate and I think I have only had one game of their not work… If you want to earn money some of the time then download this app but be prepared to be frustrated when they don’t register and for support to tell you time and time again it is your fault! Also it would be useful to have the start date when you downloaded something as each game has a different time limit and it would be good to be able to keep track of how much time you have left. ✓ Sometimes offers don’t take and the client service is no help and and reflective.I’ve had half the offers I accept, download for the first time from the provided button, and allowed tracking not take. I’ve had them take and later not. I’ve had offers where only part of my later progress took but not the totality. I’ve had some offers pay out (not many.) only about a third of the offers take and track completely. Emailed support and they basically say it’s your fault. I mean this is the only reason games are on my phone and that I play them, I use the buttons for download, and I allow tracking. I rarely even leave my home network because I very rarely leave my house. Somehow though support tells me it’s my fault. ✓ Cash out at $70 , money did not arrive to PayPalThe pay for playing most games is pretty low. Even if there is a high payout, you have to invest a lot of time in order to reach a level where payout is more than $10. You can’t cash out until you’ve reached over $70 earned. So if you earn $60 you need to wait until you reach a full $70 before you can “have” it. Then they make you cash out using PayPal in a process that is lengthy and does not actually ask you to sign into your PayPal. Then after several days you receive an email saying your cash out via PayPal is complete. However there is no money in your PayPal account. Customer service is also not great. One game just stopped tracking me right after I had reached one of the higher levels worth more money and it took them nearly two weeks to respond to my request for proper tracking and credit. I’ve contacted them about my missing PayPal cash out but I remain extremely pessimistic that they will respond in a timely manner or actually give me money. If you just want to play games and want to feel good about it because you’re (ostensibly) earning money, then this app is for you. ✓ Let’s see.I’ve finally reached around £80 to cash out which took around a month to accomplish, making a few in app purchases here and there (which is also a task!). Haven’t had many problems but one task didn’t track - I progressed even further and then it did track within around 2-3 days. Now I am trying to cash out but it required some sort of Face ID. It doesn’t seem to load on the iPhone. I opened it on my PC out of curiosity and it does load. However, I don’t have webcam. I have to used a third party app to use my iPhone as a webcam for my PC. (Yes, I didn’t know you could do that, either) and after a bit of messing about I was finally able to get the webcam working. However, using it on the Testerup website kept giving me an error. So now I have no way of cashing out. I have sent a message to customer services but I am yet to hear anything back. Will update accordingly..Version: 1.9.91
