✓ Good app! Could be even better.I searched and searched for a fun app that my kids could use to practice their spelling words. I think this one hits the spot pretty well. I can add my own list, so they can be practicing exactly what’s required for their classes, not just some developer’s best guess. The graphics are cute and appealing. The games are pretty fun, though they seem a bit repetitive in mechanics or method of play so far. So, it will appeal to the younger grades especially. Your 5th grader and up will probably not be impressed. But even my 4th grader would rather do this than repetitive writing. Spelling Monster works well one my iPhone but was quite glitchy on my iPad Pro, where most of the games wouldn’t function well enough to even attempt to play them. I would also prefer that the games were capable of both upper and lower case letters, according how the user entered the words, so the kids could practice using proper capitalization. Some of the spelling lists include both proper and common nouns. Otherwise, great app and I will be recommending it to my friends and family. Please keep working on improvements. If I could have tried a free limited version with the above improvements added, I would have totally paid $5 to upgrade to the full version of the app. Just a thought..JullenarVersion: 2.1.6

✓ I love it.I think this app is great. My kids love playing it, and I love how I can make up playlists on my iPad and then sync them to their individual iPads. I also love that once the list is on that iPad there is no need to be connected to a network which means they can still practice while we are away from home. My only criticisms so far is that there is no room for pronouns. I would love this feature to be added so that names are spelt correctly. I'd also like to see an edit option for words that have been added that don't have a voice recorded..Andy RoosVersion: 2.1.0

This app lets you make your own list and the game uses your words. The first list I made was that of the names in our family. The parent interface is great. You can see the progress for each word. ✓ SEN children need not worry!My 6 year old has additional needs, and keeping his attention during educational activities can be hard. Love this app it has a selection of mini games which allow you to input your child’s weekly spelling list. So they can focus on that list of words only, you make also make multiple lists of words. I would of given it 5 stars if the developers had made tabs/multi logins for families with more that one child, otherwise you have to change word lists each time a different child plays. You can also try the free app just in case your child ain’t keen. But for a pound I think it’s fabulous. Well done..Stephy_85Version: 2.1.6
