There are so many more photo editing tools available in Gold. Once I got used to it I found it to be much more versatile than I originally thought. Editing facilities worked well including cropping and enhancing. Managed to export into shared folder on iPhoto and create an excellent photo album covering some 90 years over the lifetime of my uncle. The app auto crops to the edges of the photo and produces a good copy (depending on the quality of the original). Two points to remember; firstly, hold the phone or iPad in the portrait position even if scanning a landscape original. Secondly, leave a small margin round the original when framing for the scan. I did notice that is was very efficient in the way it worked, dividing the image and fixing parallax. The team was so responsive when I queried why things didn't go my way. ✓ Useful toolHave scanned many photos already and generally quite an easy and simple process. Auto-Cropping can sometimes be quite hit and miss even if you follow the tips but it is probably quite hard to get the app to get it right always. Of my 400+ scans probably 10% - 15% of the auto crops were not appropriate first time around. Have identified that you can only transfer up to about 20 photos at a a time to the camera roll otherwise it won't work. This appears to be a limitation of the phone memory and not the app. Their help desk had been very helpful to identify and try resolve my issues. Future releases may make this process and other areas quicker to do. Overall though it works well and has been a useful tool. Thanks to the team!.Version: 4.0
