✓ PotentialThis app has so much potential. Unfortunately in its current state I might not be able to continue using it. On a relatively new Mac with 32GB RAM, this app starts lagging and gobbling over 300% CPU, where it becomes labored to even type in to the search and my Mac starts up its fans loudly. There are various improvements that can be made once the performance is sorted. The search would be more helpful if results started populating while typing. The flow of searching then adding an item to "Spaces" then rating is far longer and laggy than it needs to be. My main gripe with this is the tiny drop-down menu that flows to the right then back center to be able to choose a "Space" for the item. Adding to "Spaces" or "Backlog" should be clickable options even in the search results. At LEAST have them be options on the title's page that immediately brings up your defined groups. Weaving through small menus is really unnecessary here. To add an item to one of your spaces, here are the steps on a shockingly unoptimized app: click Add, choose if your search is for a movie or show, type your complete search since results won’t populate till you hit enter, click an item, click Add on the title’s page, tiny drop-down to choose add to Backlog or Spaces, click Add to Spaces, another tiny drop-down off to the side where you choose select or create space, select a space after choosing create space. And keep in mind, even if you mark certain Spaces as favorite, they are not sorted toward the top of the list. Also keep in mind that during this whole process, it can be very slow. The search itself shouldn’t even be hidden behind making the choice of either searching for a movie or show. The search should be available immediately when clicking the icon, and the sorting should be a user option AFTER. Spaces could be improved with a “smart playlist” type of option, where things like user rating could be used to auto-populate a “smart space” instead of Spaces being entirely manual. The user should be able to exclude added titles from the absolutely overwhelming sections like Actors and Directors. User ratings don’t seem to be accessible any way but fishing for your own ratings within Spaces, and they’re hard to see. The app uses white font over a teal blue. For better visibility, something like a yellow with black font might be better. This app is such an interesting Apple-like combination of what I used IMDB for and adds in JustWatch information to see where you can buy or stream a title. At this point, I’m hoping the performance gets fixed before anything else. It’s a shame it roars my fans on a 32GB RAM Mac..OmenBoyVersion: 1.2.0

✓ Love the app but on TV shows ..Upon a lengthy period of using the app. I have to rescind my previous statement. While I absolutely loved it at the start, it ended up being more annoying than one can handle. It keeps deleting my spaces and all the movies added. I initially believed I may have done it myself but it’s been 5 times. There’s no chance I deleted them by now. I give it two stars for the idea but the app is just not working well for me.
