✓ 99.99% Perfect!This app is exactly what I was looking for! My only ask would be for an export feature. I wanted to back my lists up, and share lists with my film school daughter. But other than that - it is more complete than anything else I checked out. I should add that I use the book app - that is 101% perfect. Has the import/ export and visible tags. ✓ Some OddnessIt seems okay so far, but has a few oddities, unless I am missing somethng. It has a backlog section and a watched section. If I add something to my backlog and then watch it and add it to my watched section, it still somehow stays in my backlog section as well. Why is this? It doesn't seem like the app has a way to remove it from my backlog but still have it show up as watched, unless I create some separate space for it and move it there, which just seems dumb to me. Once a show is marked as watched, it should no longer be in my backlog. Update: I added a star, as the developer has informed me of a way to hide the watched shows. I wish this was a bit more obvious & intuitive though..Version: 1.1.10
✓ I’d love to give five, but…So, I adored Book Tracker, so I got Movie Tracker as a no-brainer and immediately upgraded. I love being able to track the things I’ve seen and need to see instead of filtering through my watch lists on every streaming platform I have. There’s no real learning curve to it, and I’ve already amassed nearly 200 films on this thing. The app’s functionality is nearly perfect, except… In Book Tracker, it’s easy to select multiple things at once to lump into a category or add tags. As far as I can tell, with Movie Tracker, I have to do things one at a time… and I watch a LOT of movies and shows, so all the extra steps add up! (If there IS actually a way to select multiple films/shows at once and I’m missing it, I will happily retract this section of the review.) I’d also REALLY like to be able to control what categories a film falls in, like in Book Tracker. Some of the automatic selections aren’t accurate. Also, I really wish there was a way I could mark something as watched without needing to put in a date. There are lots of classic films I’ve watched in the last couple of years and I want to make a list of these, but I don’t remember exactly when I saw everything, so the statistics are skewed. Perhaps there’s a way to not attach a date that would just make the movie not count toward your statistics? I’m not sure how that would work, logistically, but punching in dates at random for things I saw a really long time ago is a bit tedious. I know I watched them, just not when! The positives, though, are more than enough reason for me to not regret spending on the app. No crashes thus far, and the UI is pretty intuitive to me. Aside from my little nitpicks, the app is otherwise flawless. Get the full version and support good indie work!.Version: 1.2.4

✓ Amazing app, but i just want one thingThis app is everything ive needed to keep track of my shows and movies. However, i would like the option to edit movie/shows posters. Doing so would make a certain fitting aesthetic in all my collections with matching poster colors. Overall, this app is amazing and i hope this feature could be a thing in the future. I have been using the Book Tracker for years and I just learned of the movie tracker and it is a welcome addition to my app library. I would love to see a widget that uses the ‘Watched’ category to show recent watches in my home screen. ✓ Great app!I’m obsessed with tracking things, and i used the book tracker app made by the same company, so it was only natural i needed to try this out. and it didn’t disappoint! i love this app! it’s easy to figure out and has the best backlog of any app i’ve used. my only suggestion is more info on the statistics side of it. i can classify to my hearts content and i love that. to elevate this app to the next level for me, i’d love to be able to really analyze my movie watching preferences. it already has a most watched actor section, i would expand that to include director and other things as well. but great apps all around!.Version: 1.1.10
✓ Excellent! Just the app I was looking for.I’ve been using booktrack for a while now, I can’t believe it took me so long to download this app. This is exactly what I was looking for! Clean elegant interface, easy to navigate, the search results are clear and easy to read, and fast. It was totally worth paying for instead of having a cluttered screen with ads like so many others do. Really, this is just perfect. I love the flexibility too of “spaces” and “tags”, it has allowed me to condense a bunch of different lists I was keeping. Again, sweet app..Version: 1.2.3
✓ All the trackersI love this app and the book tracker one as well. Simple, lean interface and it integrates so well with iOS 16. My only wish is a quicker way to add a movie to watched rather than first adding it to ‘backlog’ and a way to add without specifying a date for movies watched a while ago. I also hope their are plans for a video game tracker as well as a stand-alone TV Show tracker (I know this one does both but I’d love it’s own. Great job regardless. Happy to support.Version: 1.1.3

✓ Just What I WantedThis app is exactly what I was looking for to keep track of all the movies I want to watch. It’s user-friendly, has plenty of options without being overwhelming, and even tells you where you stream, rent or buy the movie. The only thing I would suggest (and this is very minor) is an option to sort the list of movies with “unwatched” on top and “watched” on the bottom. There’s an option to hide the watched movies, so I will use that for now. I love the simple design and customization of being able to create “spaces” for ways I’m watching. Great search functionality for finding where things stream, too.
