✓ Several bugs.I’ve been playing this game franchise now for the past 4 editions and really enjoy the game. Unfortunately into season 3 on the latest version and I’ve come across a few problems. Firstly the majority of my squad are for some unknown reason unavailable for a game so prohibiting being able to play. Secondly when using the Auto pick to try and get round this glitch when trying to play I’m being told I have an unavailable player in the team. Thirdly i then tried starting a new game but my manager rating carried over ,so I have then attempted to delete all data in an attempt to start afresh and the Delete data function doesn’t action. ✓ Lost achievement and progressI am two weeks into this game and am playing on iPad After buying the game and some gold and building my career over 5 seasons …. All my data was reset .? I lost all my manager progress I was legend now I am amateur ! I lost over 500 gold and my fitness boosts yet kept my cash ? Although this game is not graphic and heavy at all, but when I play it, my phone gets extremely hot and slow, the game lags severely, and the battery consumption increases strangely. ✓ GlitchesI thoroughly enjoyed this game, although there are a few glitches that need sorting out. When you upgrade your stadium to capacity you end up with unwanted graphics on the pitch, giant supporters with flags, flares streaming on the pitch, random flags on the pitch and floating mid air along with flags in the wrong position. On quick play mode it sometimes crashed after half time. There is an overlay issue because if I tsp the picture of the pitch and stadium (viewed as a corner screen shot) I can still tap the picture and bring up players as if it’s still half time although you cannot see the half time screen. The game needs to be a little more challenging as it doesn’t take long to dominate to the top of the league. All in all it’s a fun game to play, please iron out these issues!.Version: 2.0.1
✓ Love this game!!! But please fix Ai transfers and lineupsSoccer manager 2024 is an amazing game, and has made great improvements from the 2023 game. I love the addition of international teams and tournaments. The game score lines and league standings are pretty realistic for the most part. I have no complaints for the game except for one, please fix the Ai transfers and lineups. Arsenal bought osimhen in the summer and then go on to buy haaland in the spring and osimhen never sees the field again. Real Madrid has both vini jr and Saka and doesn’t start either of them. Foden leaves man city to join a mid table la liga side. Tweaking this minor issue would add a final touch of realism to the game that I feel would complete it. ✓ Amazing gameI think this game is amazing but one problem is the budget for clubs. E.g clubs like Chelsea having 50 million is extremely unrealistic as we all know they spent hundreds of millions irl in the transfer window. And Saudi clubs having 20 million is also ridiculous as we all know they practically have infinite money. ✓ To unrealisticThe games good with transfers players all of that but the one thing the game HAS to be fix is how unrealistic it is. Like I was playing a match against Wrexham (league 2 team) with Real Madrid I had Mbappe, osimhen, and Neuer all of those but I lost 2-3 in the Santiago Bernabeu that's so unrealistic. ✓ TransfersThe game is fine for me apart from transfers. Every time I want to make a transfer for someone I get robbed. For example whenever I agree a fee with a club for a player with 12 months or less, I give them the wages they want but instead they get those wages at their current club and it takes away the money from the sign on fee. ✓ Soccer Manager 2024Overall, the game is very fun so far, I don’t understand tactics so just press quick play each match. I have to admit, it is a bit flawed. Playing as Southend United, board want me to finish at least 18th and I’m 3rd in the league, 2 points off top after 14 matches and my striker has scored like 24 goals. One big issue I have is fixture congestion. Just recently I had major fixture congestion. On October 25th we played AFC Fylde, then October 28th we played a FA Cup 1st Round match against Oxford City then October 30th vs Kidderminster. That is ridiculous, 3 games in 5 days. I basically had to sacrifice my FA Cup run just so that I could have a full, fit squad for the League. Sure, I could’ve used boosts, but that’s a waste. ✓ Great game, lacking optionsThis is probably one of the best managerial games i have ever played! The addition to national teams is amazing as well. It’s just that there are a few lacking options. For example, i know there are tons of national teams, but i just couldn’t find my own country on there, so it would be a long shot, but i want the addition of more national teams. The reason I find this important is because of my second suggestion. I want the option to be able to control just the club, which is already possible but without any international job offers, to manage just a national team, meaning no club involvements by you at all, and to control both, which is already in the game. ✓ One of my favesThis is a great game for football management strategy. Had this for about six months now and still enjoying it a lot. There are some reviews here that are clearly from people with zero patience. Ignore them, start humble and work your way up through the leagues. Things I’d like to see added to get all five stars: A free kick specialism, maybe the ability to train two or three players to improve the dead ball speciality such as corners and pens. A throw in specialism, maybe you randomly get a player who is a long throw specialist. Somewhere to park a player who has been sent off so they don’t get in the way on the pitch. ✓ Great game but a few bugsThis definitely takes the cake on my favorite manager game. There’s so much you can do and a thrill when you win, but there are a few bugs. When the opposing team or your team has the ball and it’s kicked away, it’s almost like Casper the ghost kicks it long. Idk what it is but know ones there and the ball just goes flying. It only happens once every few games but could be the turning point of the game if it happens to you. Another bug is there’s no way to stop and attack with the defenders, it’s always left to the goalie to save the day. The striker is dribbling at the defender and runs into him but manages to get past him after phasing through the defender. In reality since the defenders can’t win the ball then there’s no point in having them. I don’t want to through shame and the game but these are minor bugs and can be fixed very simply. I’m no coding wizard or anything and I don’t want to sound like I am so please don’t take it that way. It’s a very fun game and I hope this review is well received..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Great Game, New Bug Noted ThoughThis game is great. The learning curve is steep but once you get the hang of it, the different playstyles you can use to run your team is really cool. I’d like to let the developers know about a bug that I noticed in the last week. For the past week or so, every time my team scores a header goal it counts as an unassisted goal by the assisting player. It can be from a free kick, corner kick, or just a cross or long ball from normal play. I even had an absurd goal where my forward headed in a goal that the opposing keeper got a hand on but couldn’t keep out and it counted as an unassisted goal by my own keeper. The game isn’t overly complex. I admit the animations and what’s showed on replay needs a lot of work, the objectives and board system also needs working on but most of the actual core parts of the game like training system, scouting system, the tactics, transfers(still needs a little work but is easy to understand with a little learning and yt)and how to get funds for all this all work really well. ✓ Great For What It Isn’tSM series had always been quite a mixed bag. The FC mobile and the Football Managers of the world outshadow this small studio but SM23 actually had a widespread audience. However, SM24 is little more than a shell. It’s a very very early accessible game, looking like a SM23 reskin but as it is it’s first days, I suspect these bugs and choppiness are birth pains of a coming age. Overall, I’d like to stay in touch but for new members of the SM gang, just go SM23..Version: 1.0.4
