✓ Controller Support + Graphics settings 🙌Netflix is killing it with these games, they have been dropping console-quality games on mobile with cloud saves that seems to work perfectly. Death’s door is a neat little indie game, it only released on PC/console just a couple of years ago. It’s kind of souls-like/hack and slash game with an isometric perspective. It’s very fun, somewhat challenging as you progress through the game. The art direction is excellent and the sound design is quite good as well. I was very, very pleased to see that my Razer Kishi V2 worked on my 12 Pro Max. All mobile games should support controllers, but unfortunately most do not. I am just happy this one does. There is also a graphics setting, on my iPhone and M1 iPad, there was a “balanced” mode and a “performance” mode. The balanced mode is clearly higher resolution, with performance mode looking soft and less detailed. I tested the game on a budget phone and only the performance mode was available, so some older iPhones/iPads may be the same and not support the better looking balanced mode. I love seeing proper console games shipping on mobile with controller support AND graphics option. Keep it up Netflix!.Version: 1.2.0

✓ Best game on the AppStoreDeaths door is by far the best mobile game I’ve ever played, from just messing around on Netflix downloading random games, I’d have never expected to enjoy this game as much as I have. My progress is now 100% complete sadly, I wish it could’ve gone on forever. I was so immersed in this game and I’m so happy I got a chance to play it, somehow so emotional, adventurous and exciting. The graphics, aesthetic, storyline, sounds/ music, animations, the ui/ux, the humour… it ticked every box for me and they just really got everything so right. Really hoping there’s more to come. ✓ IncredibleFirst game i’ve finished in a very long time, it was very fun and challenging. The graphics are beautiful, the audio is amazing, the gameplay was so awesome! plot was wonderfully thought out and well written, i loved the frog kings funny long name title, i love potheads name, i love the gravediggers comment about betty the yeti, I love the philosophy on death and the fact that (SPOILER DO NOT READ) deaths name appeared in the same way that happens when the character dies, i love that i’m playing as a CROW! and i get to collect shiny things and have it part of the story line, i love the puzzles and figuring them out!! this is just an amazing game that had soul in it (haha) thank you to the game creators, i can feel the effort that was put into this game and it is absolutely wonderful :) bravo!!.Version: 1.2.2

✓ Fun! atmospheric! Wish it had better backbone supportAbsolutely loving what I’ve played so far (1hr in). It works with a backbone, just seems to freak out the button prompts. It will show “no ne” instead of the button. Not a huge deal just makes learning a little more difficult. Very cool mood this game sets. ✓ Honestly just amazingI love the way the game sets its atmosphere, with a dark gloomy looking workplace, Gigantic yet hollow mansion, a garden filled with wildlife and nature (love the guys there btw they remind me of Zelda’s Koroks). The dialogue is fun and the storytelling is so interesting, and especially the area design and the boss battles (probably one of my favourite parts). It really all comes together so nicely in the end. One more thing I do want to mention is that the movement for the mobile version (specifically the joystick) feels kinda weird to use? It just feels kinda restrictive in a way i don’t know how to explain it.Or maybe it’s just a skill issue lol either way that didn’t stop me from exploring all the locations and getting to the final boss. ✓ Sad when it was over! Best mobile game I’ve playedI absolutely loved this game and haven’t enjoyed one this much in years. Make sure you carry on to get the real/ secret ending. I genuinely felt sad once I completed this game, it was that good, and I haven’t been able to find another game that can compare to it since. Some of the challenges are hard and frustrating, but I realised to win the game you need patience and practice. Exploring the world was wonderful and your character is incredibly endearing for one that literally doesn’t talk. Can’t recommend enough!.Version: 1.2.2

✓ Incredible game!Netflix, you wonderful buggers. I’ve been playing this game on my Switch for the past year and a half. It is definitely my favorite indie game of all time. So when I heard that Netflix was bringing it to mobile devices I was like “UWAHH?!?!” This is the last thing I would have expected from Netflix, but BOY am I happy they did it. This review is more about the mobile gameplay than the actual game. The game is incredible and I highly recommend it, especially if you like Zelda or Dark Souls. Look, I’m a Switch player. I don’t play mobile games. But I just HAD to check out Death’s Door on mobile. The mobile gameplay is surprisingly smooth. I still struggle with it, but I’ll adapt eventually. This is just a me thing. The game’s performance is slick and has virtually no problems. Aaaand that’s pretty much it. To summarize, Death’s Door is an amazing game and this mobile port is surprisingly great. Thank you Netflix, my respect for you has risen..Version: 1.2.0
