✓ Love this AppIf you are in any way interested in Flags of the World and are NOT interested in a quiz, then this is the app to get. There seems to be loads and loads of “Flag Quiz” apps in the AppStore but not so many pure reference apps. This is a pure reference app for maps and countries and moreover it is extremely well designed and works very well on both iPad and iPhone. It is easy to view and select a flag and then you are presented with useful and interesting information about the flag and the country and you even get a sample of their National Anthem. Click on a little icon and you also get to see where the country is located on a map of the World. I also like the “Gallery” feature that displays just the pictures of all the maps in a compact matrix that fills the screen All in all, I can’t think of anything else I would want in a flag reference app - it’s just brilliant..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Missing CountriesThis app would rate 5⭐️ if it included every country, but it fails to do so. Scotland is missing. Presumably because they list the UK flag, but Scotland is still a country with her own national flag, anthem, details, and history. I think it’s safe to say that if Scotland is missing, so are other countries with the misfortune of being subjugated to another sovereign..Version: 1.7.2

✓ UPDATE Sept. 22, 2020.The developer made significant corrections. The Netherlands’ relationship to the Caribbean still needs more accuracy. While the Netherlands has possessions in the Caribbean, the nation itself is entirely in Europe. I wanted to write the developer directly. Greece does NOT object to the name “North Macedonia.” On the contrary, “North” was added to the original name to placate the Greeks. The table of contents needs to be tweaked to place “North Macedonia” in its rightful alphabetical place with its flag. I note the addition of the anthem for Taiwan ROC. I appreciate this useful and enjoyable application. I look forward to giving it five stars once the small corrections are made..Version: 1.7
