✓ Awesome gameI find this a very good game, which I discovered for the iPod after playing some years back on face book. There are many good points for this game by also a few bad points as well. Good points are: good gameplay Great card designs, abilities and categories Fast and action packed gameplay Genius upgrade and fusion options And a generally fun game :) Bad points are: not enough in game money card buying options I think there should be more than one card in a pack as well as an extra pack that costs gold instead of war bands Also I seem to be losing more war tokens than I seem to be gaining in the fight agains rivals as I have only just managed to get to the rank Marshall from adept after countless fights, so if kongregate could halve the number lost or something in an update that would be good. And maybe some of the upgrades for cards could lower the round time a card has before it can start firing and using it's abilities. Updates that I think should be included: Extra card pack option or a species pack for 100 gold giving one card from a certain species Halved amount of war tokens lost in fights against rivals Upgrades sometimes lower the time delay for cards All in all this is a very good game and will continue to look forwards for more updates :) -Badwolf21.Version: 1.8

✓ A huge step in the right directionThis game is much better than any other mobile tcg I've played for the tablet or phone. It reminds me of Starcraft. I used to play Rage of Bahamut because it had great artwork and decent stories. Although this one has a different style of art the mechanics are much better in my opinion and I've tried everything from Magic: The Gathering to Snk vs Capcom Cardfighter clash. It still doesn't have the smooth progression of cardfighter, but I think if you have good techniques you can rank up very easily and even take out the cheapest of dirty decks..Version: 1.25
✓ Constant upgrades:)Even when I first started almost a year ago, this game got me addicted. I love the options of fighting, especially now with their new guild wars, you can make awesome money and easily buy loads of cards. Even epic and legendary randomly appear. I NEVER played card games but this one got me hooked. As far as improvements/game upgrades can go; I'd like a pvp within a guild, maybe get a ranking system that way for friendly competitive play. I would love to see more actual competitive game plays, maybe even make a new/additional ranking system outside of the guild one where you aim for a lower number position.(like being #1!) ✓ Strategy in a card game?All of these negative reviews I've seen for this excellent game seem to be coming from people who either can't figure it out, or prefer a grind and "tap to battle" games such as every other CCG game for the iOS. There absolutely is no comparison to this game, it melds the perfect amount of strategy and addictive gameplay that makes a good card game, great. The artwork is a very under appreciated aspect of the game, on the cards themselves and in the backgrounds. Only a few things aren't perfect about this game, and none of them are even important enough to take a star away. Animations are the same for every card and every attack, this is more annoyance than problem, would just be a cool feature if my, clearly melee, card didn't shoot bullets :P. That's about it, as far as the people being critical of pvp, it's honestly, and I hate to say it, a L2P issue more often than not. I am yet to get to a point, after 2 weeks of dedicated game play, where I've felt either underpowered or overpowered, I know what type of decks mine is good against, and I pick those people from the search and get my points. Use cards that work together and win matches. Overall this is a must get for any strategist or CCG gamer, hands down the best one for iOS..Version: 1.10
✓ My favorite card gameA Great card game that can trigger player's desire of exploration. The pattern of cards is nice . You do not need to spend a lot of time on it, but it is addictive. Regular card update means that you can get some decent cards in the future but also some once great card will become mediocre. The strategy of game, including identification of useful cards and way of playing them, is essential. The process of collecting cards to some extent is disappointing, because it takes approximately a month or three weeks to fuse 4 or more cards to a quad fusion card without paying money, which even may not improve your deck a lot. You will find it really hard to rank in higher level in events after playing for half year, that's the time you want to pay some money. If you cannot afford sustainable payment to the game, you will surely end up with lower and lower rank in events, which maybe the reason someone quit the game. But that's the profit model of all these kinds of games. I enjoy playing the game and chatting with my guild mates. I only received it on a different account playing on the PC version. That being said, my only other complaint is that in-game purchases are too expensive for what you receive. If I spend $60 (the price of a XBOX One or PS4 game), I will still not be able to have a great 10 card deck without weeks of grinding, even months. Costs are fairly ridiculous, though, above real-world card prices. The cheapest booster pack is ~$5 for *two* basically average cards. Upgrade points are hard to come by and it seems that it'd take hundreds of hours to fully upgrade some of the most powerful cards. To those who say its too difficult to get anywhere- maybe if you put in more than 3 minutes of effort, you could get somewhere. Overall, great game. The devs get back quickly on glitches I report and questions I had (I think the longest I ever had to wait for a reply was like 2 days.). ✓ Awesome game but needs some tweakingI love this game and is one of the only apps that I've been able to get into for a wile, I love the artwork and the gameplay is great, but unless you want to be a "wallet warrior" and shell out a bunch of money, it can get hard to progress in the game. It is possible to get a good deck and proceed in the game without buying anything, but it takes a lot of man hours most people aren't willing to spend. I think rare/epic cards need a better drop rate, or the price of buying non basic packs needs to go down. Other then that, this game's the ish and I plan on playing this for a long time. ✓ Great simple strategy deck builder with flawsKongregate makes good games and tyrant is no exception. With five factions and only 10 cards for a deck, the strategy is immense. The campaign is a bit lack luster, but with a decent story line. Playing through the campaign in PvE is great fun, earning coins to buy cards and upgrade your deck. Unfortunately PvP is broken, where it's 50/50 whether you face an in game coin deck or a real life money bought super deck. Also, the in game 'gems' , which you use to buy super cards, are non existent without purchase, which further exacerbates the rift between players. Overall it's highly entertaining to battle the campaign use up energy buy packs upgrade deck, and then wait 5-6 hours to do it again; perfect for the working schedule..Version: 1.39

Upgrading cards I think is one of the best things about this game. The one thing I dislike about this game is the little you can do with guilds. I like to chat with my guild members with some small talk and to get bonus energy from being a part of one, but that's all you can do. It would be nice if there was some addition to guilds. The last big update added late game missions with Warbond rewards in the thousands, and updates since have focused on rebalancing cards rather than just adding to the power creep. ✓ Good but needs a remodelThe current version, they made mistakes in some of the cards, their values are unbalanced in a factor of 10, cards that should have 15 go have 150 instead. This makes strategies non viable and ruins the enjoyment and strategies. Some examples would be fog machine, havoc, aegis. It’s a great game, just needs some fine tuning..Version: 2.30.3
