✓ Best manual app for all four - reconciliation, budgets, bills, and reportsI do not trust the apps that pull my bank and credit cards information into the apps which is too risky. So I rather to use my fingers to enter everything in this safe app which is not required to use internet to open or update. This is the best one than other four apps I have tried. This app have everything you are looking for. Only one thing I don't really like is the icons for each categories some are not matched but I am just ignore these icons and focus on the name of categories..Version: 2.5
✓ Great app for budgeting and tracking spendingThis app works so great for budgeting and tracking all transactions and spending. Report features are good, it is easy to use and easy to categorize and customize the way I want it. I do not want to link this app with my bank accounts etc because I feel uncomfortable doing that so I didn't try any of those features. I just entered account balance. ✓ Love!I LOVE this app. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to keeping track of my money and this app does a great job. It lets me keep track of all the different types of accounts even credit cards, which can be tricky at times. With this app I can leave my cc balance at negative (which helps me from having this false sense that I have more money to spend when I only look at my checking account balance) and simply transfer money from the checking account when I make my cc payment at the end of the month. The only thing that I don't like is how the income portion of the budget is also treated like the expense portion. Why does it show how much I have "remaining" as opposed to simply showing how much I made so far? That's really the only complaint I have since I have different sources of income and get paid at different times of the month..Version: 2.5

Finally I think I've found one that I will continue to use as I both enjoy using it, and it serves my needs. I prefer to capture details myself, and so avoid those apps that link automatically into bank websites. The reporting is the feature that is way above what other apps can offer. The "cleared" feature is also useful, and helps me easily put in those repetitive transactions, whilst still keeping the bank balance correct..Version: 2.5

This one however, let's you set up repeating transactions and you can see at a glance what your money is doing and where it is going. I do think one or to things need improving though, categories are very US oriented, okay so I know that you can add new sub categories but you don't seem to be able to add new main categories. The little icons are a bit too little and again lean towards the U.S. There does not seem to be a way of adding new icons, that would be really useful. On the whole it's a pretty good app for keeping track of what I'm spending while away from home, but it won't pull me away from the old workhorse of "Microsoft Money" on my PC just yet, but this is a valiant effort..Version: 3.0

✓ Excellent AppI recently ditched my Filofax and wanted to replace a paper spreadsheet I used to track personal incomings and outgoings. I chose this app after some fairly thorough research and am not disappointed. The app is simple, intuitive, easy to use, and does what it says on the tin (with no bugs!) It took me a couple of hours to familiarise myself and set up direct debits in the Bill Calendar but this was fairly easy and it was simple to customise e.g I added new Categories for Council Tax and Gym Membership. Now it should just be a case of minimal data entry for day to day expenses and in return I will have some useful budget breakdown Reports. ✓ Decent app for budgeting/bookkeepingI'm not a wiz at bookkeeping but this app works okay. I've been using it for a month or so. I do like that you can marked things "not cleared" so you can check them against your bank statements. You can keep track of multiple accounts too. The best thing is you DON'T have to enter any bank info or connect it to your cards. The only thing I don't like is the terms some things are like the payee and what exactly my balance is. It also took me a bit to figure out how to get a bill to reoccur every month, and if you hit Pay it deducts it from your account, which after I realized that I was double charging myself was a little more cautious on that. Things I'd like to see change is the ability to add interest rates on loan credit card accounts, the ability to do a recurring bill that may change in the cost each month (right now I set it up my electric bill at a base amount like $100 and enter that I'm paying more than I set it to be BUT if my actual bill is less than $100, the app is still expecting the balance to be paid). It would be nice to customize the naming conventions of bookkeeping terms to something a little more comprehensive..Version: 2.5

✓ Very good app, but .....I have been using this app for a number of years, when I. First got it you could sync the iPhone app with the iPad app, which proved to be just what I wanted. The app has allowed me to keep my finances in order, i was really pleased with it and recommended it to all my friends. Then came the major upgrade, the new version proved very capable in managing your finances, presentation had improved and the app was more user friendly. However, for some unknown reason the author of this wonderful money management app decided to make the two apps incompatible, you can no longer sync the iPhone app with the iPad app. When the iPad app came out I immediately downloaded it, I felt at £4.95 it was a gift, but, when I found the apps would not sync, I deleted the app and claimed my money back. Several people have raised this problem, but the author has ignored them and has not made changes that would allow the tho programs to Sync. This really is a shame, I cannot see any reason for producing such an excellent program that works on iPhone and iPad yet not allowing them to work together. This could be a five star program, but until it changes and allows syncing I can only award 4 stars..Version: 3.6.3

✓ Very User FriendlyAfter testing several apps of this type I find Money Monitor easy to use making it quick to enter transactions etc. It has a simple clean interface which also gives you all the data you need to track your expenses and spending. The only thing I would add is when setting up savings budgets it would be great to be able to enter a target amount and perhaps savings goal (eg. new car)..Version: 3.6.3
✓ AmazingI'm finding this app the best thing for me right now. It's easy to use and very informative. I'm still adapting the contents for me but I'm amazed that it allows me to do that. I think it could use bit more icons but so far it's all good. Haven't tried the full paid version yet but if the free is amazing I can only imagine the paid one..Version: 3.6
