✓ Exactly what I'd been hoping for!Exactly what I'd been waiting for! A complete podcast syncing solution between Mac OS X desktop & iOS devices and Downcast has finally delivered. Apples iTunes & iOS Podcasts app was a complete failure and this App very nicely fills that gap. An absolute no brainer for anyone already using the iOS version of Downcast with the iCloud sync function. Turned it on and it just worked! Brilliant..Dj.eckersleyVersion: 1.0.0

✓ My equal favourite podcast playerI admit that I have an obsession to find THE BEST podcast player (and text editor, but that's another matter). I listen to podcasts on my iPad and my iPhone. I wanted to listen on my Mac as well but could not find the ideal app that worked on all three devices. I was using Castro and iCatcher but recently found issues with both. This prompted yet another search for "THE BEST" podcast player. Downcast featured in most of the reviews I looked at but usually not at the top of lists. Unlike everything else I saw, it had a macOS app as well as an iOS app. So I thought I would try it. Several days later, I am really impressed. It sorts podcasts in my prefered way (oldest first) but can group episodes of the same podcast. It syncs to iCloud very quickly and the sync is replicated on other devices equally quickly. So far, this is proving to be an extremely good podcast player. Downcast AND Castro are currently my two favourite podcast players. Highly recommended!.Pja2536Version: 2.9.42

✗ Disappointed. Seems Rushed.I was surprised today when I saw Downcast in the AppStore. As a long time user of the iPhone/iPad versions I downloaded it immediately. I quickly found out this is not the same quality as the iPad/iPhone version. The Mac version seems rushed and buggy. I am unable to sync up my playlists and this version keeps downloading podcasts that have already been downloaded during previous sessions. Can't view podcast information unless I go to full screen mode. Scrolling in the podcast information screen does not appear to exist. I'm also getting errors during downloads. Save your money for now. This is not worth $9.99. I feel like I'm using a poorly written beta version. Stay away for now and save your money!.RA131Version: 1.0.0

✗ Bugs Bugs BugsHi, There are a few bugs with this app that you would expect given the price they are charging. If you can handle the following then you should be fine. 1 - Episodes don't sync with your iPhone/iPad correctly. My episode list is not the same from device to macbook. Very annoying. 2 - It does't automatically download if you have already downloaded a episode to your idevice. Everything else is good, just the fundamentals don't work. Wait until it is either alot cheaper or it is confirm that the above is fixed..Joe (London)Version: v2.9.63
