✓ Kept freezingEverytime I’d try to do things in the app it would freeze and sometimes the audio will freeze and you have to press play again. This is not a good app. Teachers please don’t use this app..Version: 1.92
✓ No vocal tracksThere are no vocal tracks to follow along with. This makes teaching choreography incredibly difficult because they have to know all the music first. I’m very disappointed. You should avoid this at all costs..Version: 1.93
✓ Awful appTerrible interface, no tutorials or in-app help, difficult to see what you are doing. Measures and track numbers do not always match up with the production’s music book. No good way to select specific measures, audio levels for parts constantly changing, settings continually shifting back to defaults. Really frustrating app, should be much easier to navigate and control..Version: 1.8

✓ Doesn’t work at all!!I had to download this app for theater so I could practice, and it did not work! It would always sign out of my account and I’d have to put the password in again every time I turned my phone off, and the play button didn’t even show up so i couldn’t listen to the songs! Also the fact that it would not stay open for more then 2 seconds was a nice touch too. This is a good app idea and concept, and it would be amazing if these bugs were fixed!.Version: 1.91

✓ Good resource, but won’t work on my phoneThis works for our musical’s song director, but not for my phone. When I put in the code she gave us, it logs me in and then kicks me out. Then, I click on the app again a few times, and it keeps closing. Once I finally get in again, it says ‘songs loaded’ with a check mark, but there is nothing there. I click around, but there are no resources and nothing to do. Nothing works. Does anyone know why this is happening? I’d like to use this to practice our school’s production of Cinderella on my own. I need the practice. Also, when we used this at rehearsal, the instruments sounded really bad. Like, in tune and all that, but no emotion and not pleasing to the ear at all. It’s kind of distracting and takes from the experience..Version: 1.6

✓ TerribleThe app is unintuitive, with parts (such as the bass) not playing sometimes, despite nothing being on solo, and it not being muted; practicing if you’re in the orchestra is close to impossible, since if you have anything directly after a repeat or fermata, you won’t be able to play it, since you have to manually override those, which also makes practicing staging is annoying since the person you have to have controlling it has to be perfectly on time, or else you get messed up by a long fermata or repeat. There’s also the problem of it constantly crashing when trying to open the app, which makes starting practicing even longer since you have to go through upwards of 10 crashes sometimes before it fully opens. Don’t use unless it’s mandatory..Version: 1.7
✓ WAYYYYYYYYYY TOO LONG OF A DOWNLOADDear App Creators, I started downloading this silly little app around 6am checking it CONSTANTLY for progress. ANY SORT OF PROGRESS, none until around 12am the next day. I find it absolutely baffling that this download was more of a wreck than my audition for the play that I need this app for. It is astounding that I am the first person to write a review for this app in YEARS. This lack of attention demonstrates that this app shouldn’t be on the market. ✓ It simply won’t work.This app won’t open at all. It immediately closes, but on the off chance that it does stay open, It doesn’t even show the music. ✓ THIS APP IS SO GLITCHYI think this app is very helpful for learning the music, but only when it works. It glitches out so much and kicks me out that I have to stop and I can’t practice for the show I’m doing. Also I don’t think it’s ever been updated because the design is so old. I wouldn’t use this app if it wasn’t a platform that my school used..Version: 1.93
✓ The theatre deserves betterWho knows, maybe the desktop version is better. I haven’t messed around with it yet. But in the 20 minutes I have been working with this app on my 2020 iPad Pro, I have had it crash on me seven times, freeze twice, and play glitchy low notes after exiting vamps, sometimes followed by a freeze. The vamps seem to be the biggest culprit, causing the app to hard crash. Additionally, the tracks so far are…disappointing. They sound like 30-year-old General MIDI files, and the sound fonts and sequencing are sorely lacking. They’re accurate to the score, yes, but they’re mechanical and dry. For rehearsal tracks, that’s not necessarily a huge problem (I understand the performance tracks are better), but I do feel it worth mentioning. Additionally, when vamping, there are some significant MIDI timing issues causing audible stutters and jitter. The idea is solid, that’s the thing. Being able to follow along in the score is a nice touch, and the ability to change the sound font used for each voice is great for learning multiple parts. But the company clearly did not allocate the proper time or resources to develop a functional tablet version of this app, which is a shame in a world in which tablets are increasingly being used for playback. These features, buried underneath the rampant stability problems, are the reason I’m rating two stars and not just one. I’ve been working in MIDI and playback for theatre for several years now, and am a firm believer in its potential. The technology is out there to create wonderful rehearsal and performance tools for organizations on a budget, and this application could be one such tool if—and only if—the debilitating stability and jitter issues are fixed..Version: 1.91
✓ Fine- most of the timeGreat for teaching students when you aren’t a great pianist. New bug issues- even when the piano/vocals aren’t muted the app will randomly mute everything and only give you the click. And I HATE that the new update doesn’t show you the song title you’re on in the play. All mode, you have to back out to song list to make sure you’re on the correct piece. A great tool, but a couple user friendly bug fixes are needed..Version: 1.7
✓ Essential but frustratingAs a member of a musical ensemble using this software, I’ve found it very useful for nailing my specific parts in the various songs... you can adjust sliders, mutes, and solos so that you only hear what you need to guide you, and of course your own part... HOWEVER... After spending a few minutes balancing volumes to make sure I could hear the relevant backing and guide vocals.. as well as the part I was learning, ON EVERY SONG, when I went back to the songs I realised the ADJUSTMENTS DO NOT SAVE. Not only is that wasted time setting them up originally, but now I have to reset them EVERY TIME I go to a different track, or even hit the PREV button to go to the start of the track again. It’s incredible frustrating to have to change things on the fly, especially as the score I’m in changes for every song, even when it’s flows from one track into another. Fix this oversight, and I would happily give it a higher rating,.Version: 1.3
✓ Straight up just doesn’t workI’ve had to use this app once before for a show i did last year. when i heard that we were using it again i hoped to god the absolutely out-of-control glitches had been fixed. they have not been. doesn’t matter how many times i put in the password, it kicks me off the app within ten seconds, usually within less than two. i haven’t been able to practice at all because even when it lets me stay on the app long enough to click on the show, none of the tracks are there, and before i’ve even had time to be annoyed about that, it kicks me out again. really hoping it ends up working eventually because i’d like to actually be able to prepare for my show with the tracks we’re using for our performances instead of random youtube karaoke videos. i’ve contacted app support and they were of no help either..Version: 1.93
