Much improvedConstantly improving and a decent solution with ‘price override’ for when you negotiate a specific price with a customer. No need to work-out the discount amount, just enter the agreed price. However, it’s not as flexible as at should be to keep pace with the way customers change their minds. For example, after entering shipping details you can’t edit the final cart screen before processing payment. Customers often want product changes (like size or colour) at that point. In fact, you can’t even add an order note or delivery instruction from that final screen which is another super common occurrence. You have to remember to enter it after processing the payment which is not ideal. Customers change their minds or remember things near the end of the sale, a decent POS system should allow for the human factor..Version: 8.19.0

ShopifyPOSFantastic service. I had a small problem, the Shopify crew kindly replied added the fix, and its now updated and working beautifully. I use the star-pop cash drawer, and the shopify pos app works beautifully with it now. Thank you Shopify company for helping me out. Highly recommend and they will genuinely help if your problem is a valid problem to fix..Version: 5.46.1

Good app, wish the analytics date range was betterI wish the analytics would let me choose from a date range on the calendar rather than just yesterday or a week to date. That’s the pro version too. We only use on Saturday and I need to know how much we sold of each product, I have to do that on Sunday, won’t let me on Monday, which isn’t convenient. Other than that it’s good, much faster now with the offline feature..Version: 8.6.0

Update causing issuesI have just updated and since then my pos keeps locking up, needing to lodged in, won’t log in, and prints 3x receipts every time. I have done the adjustment’s suggested but we are still having issues.Version: 7.0.2

Not perfect, but a good place for devs to build onEasy win for inventory synchronisation using Stocky app. Now they have made contactless payments the default on the card reader, this is a big step forward, especially when contactless is now the go to method for hygiene above all else. Limitations which must be resolved IMHO 1. Default discount selection - you have to do discounts manually every time. It would be far easier to have user defined presets such as staff discounts, manager discounts, etc... which are only a click away with predefined value. 2. Card payment terminal is silent - needs to beep to provide positive reinforcement that the contactless card has been recognised for the transaction. There is only LED confirmation which is obscured by the card itself so the user might as well be visually impaired which then leads to an accessibility issue for blind users. 3. We have to close the app using double clicked home button and swiping up on app tile method every time we turn the iPad on so we can then bring up the correct till login screen. Otherwise it asks for Shopify management credentials instead of POS staff login code. 4. Feedback to say that a support report has been received. We have submitted several reports to provide feedback on the app but have never been contacted about the improvement requirements. Maybe a list of scheduled features being worked on by devs from within the app would reassure changes are in the pipeline and stop multiple reports of the same issues which they’re already working on. Saves everyone time then.Version: 6.26.5

Having issues.All the sudden the app doesn’t work. Won’t update. And now the app isn’t even showing as an icon on my phone but it still says it’s updating in the App Store.... This app is very useful to my everyday life and now it’s just a burden to my cc sales when I drop off clothing in person... please help..Version: 6.26.3

Great system but room for improvementOn the whole the app works great..... however despite everything being connected and working the notification in the bottom left continually says “Shopify 985 disconnected”. When using the barcode function, the app continually reverts to the back camera and I can’t set it to only use the front facing camera. When exchanging goods, there’s no option to apply a discount to the new option to match discounts on the original purchase. Finally, I can accept store credit as a payment option, but there is no option upon processing a return, to print a credit note if you do not accept returns for refund. All in all though, great app and have recommended to other business owners..Version: 6.26.5

Great affordable AppWe find the App really good, and easy to use alongside our e-commerce site on Shopify. The only thing that lets it down is the having to click the Contactless tick for payments...Contactless is supposed to make it quicker now slower. And add an internal Loyalty feature like Vend, rather than having to use a third-party provider..Version: 5.55.0

It’s just pretty looking but horribleSince the update, it has sync issues with products, so I keep having to keep duplicating a product page until it syncs. To use the different developments, like adding a tile, it sometimes lets you do that, and most times no. To add salt to the wound, you’re charging an extra $89 per Brick and mortar above the monthly fee for this, which is not efficient AT ALL..Version: 6.22.0

Issues on iPad 9.7The fonts are an issue as the tiles now have to be scrolled and the group buttons have a lag. I had setup a collection called QuickPOS to have items that we don’t barcode. Bringing up that collection now is slower. Also the post sale screen I have to scroll to email a receipt as the 4 across buttons have been replaced. We email most of our receipts..Version: 7.0.1

Poor connection, high cost.It’s a great app, my biggest problem is the card readers regularly do not connect. Which is very poor customer service for us because we have to manually enter our customers debit cards, which takes time. This slows down our efficiency. The app also takes a fee for manually entering card information. The return policy for defective card readers is no returns. Overall, the cost for the deficiency in this app is very high..Version: 6.46.1

Give me the option to Make the cart disappear because...I have 200 items, Half the screen is taken up with the cart when it could used for browsing and selecting products! The option to make the collection images smaller would be helpful Shopify😉to remove the bottleneck🍼 Beside that, this app works very well with my Shopify site..Version: 6.43.0

Missing pick up in storeWould be 5* except with a major missing piece of functionality. The developers have recognised that someone may be in store and want an item shipped at a later date. Great! But there is no functionality to create an order and for the customer to pick up I store at a later date! Missed piece - needs fixing.Version: 6.17.1

So handy for market businessesWe use this app to track sales at our market. It's great because it keeps our stock up to date on the website instantly. Easy to use and immediately updates in Shopify reports etc. Two requests: 1) can you create a location prompt when opening the app (at least at start of day), I have staff that forget to swap locations and then the reports don't match. Or a way to change location in order if it's entered incorrectly? 2)when is the Shopify POS payments mobile swipe machine going to be available in Australia? Thank you..Version: 4.1.5

Doesn’t show all of the productsWhen I type in a product it doesn’t always pull it up but it’s clearly available in the system. This proves to be a problem while my customers are waiting in line to pay for their items...they said they fixed this issue but they in fact did not..Version: 6.23.0

Great appUpdate ** the double scan has been fixed ***not fixed yet - the logo has still been shrunk on my receipt s - location is missing from receipt - web interface is still green on grey - latest update to app was released without info on what was changed and on a Friday. Probably not a good day to install when you run a business. Overall a great app. Some problems i have had. One update caused products to scan 2 units per scan. Another update changed the size of my logo on receipts Another update caused informatiob to be missing from receipts. In another update they changed the Web interface for product management to a grey and green look. I find it difficult to look at. Calling for support takes approx 40 minutes to reach anyone. Updates through app show change logs of “bug fixes” without any details. Changes to software do not seem to be tested properly before updates are rolled out. Overall a very good product to get you online with little experience..Version: 6.24.0
