✓ Fantastic MeterIf you want an accurate meter with you at all times but don't want to carry one with you or if you forgot yours at home then this is the app you want. Readings are quite accurate, they have never let me down. Only thing G I wish it had was a Spot reading option. It's well worth what I paid..Version: 1.1.7
✓ PerfectI use this app anytime I'm out with one of my meterless cameras, and even when I have a modern camera on me. I've used it in all conditions, including studio conditions, and it seems very accurate. Nice ergonomics - very quick to read. ✓ WOW, this is the best meter on the entire iOS storeSo I tried out a bunch of free lightmeters and they had terrible interfaces, were plagued with ads and were slow to boot. Then this one came along. It loads super fast, goes from opening to working with a proper reading in 3 seconds flat. And this is on my super old iphone 5s. Goes from lock screen to reading in about half a second. Its so damn accurate. Tested it against my digital camera, nailed the exposure every time. It operates in lower light than the newest DSLRs. The d750 goes down to -2.75EV, this one goes to -4.0EV (which is basically blackness). The UI IS AMAZING. The person who made this is clearly a photographer because it works so well. Smooth and responsive. Controls are simple, no extra fluff and the design is nice an modern. The only issues I have with it is that it is apperature priority only. You set the apperature and then the shutter speed adjusts. And its a little hard on my small screen to adjust the exposure compensation. But those are super minor and everything else is perfect. It's a shame this gem is buried in the app store. So worth the 2 bucks..Version: 1.1.7

✓ Excellent!This and mylightmeter pro are the business. I've tested both of these apps, in iPad and iPod touch versions, against a couple of prosumer digital cameras, a film camera and a light meter and they are remarkably accurate - way better than I'd expected. This app is clear and easy to use - mylightmeter pro is straightforward if you have even a passing acquaintance with a real light meter. I haven't spotted any bugs yet. Checked it against my DSLR's built in light meter and found it to be spot on in about 95% if the situations I tested. ✓ LightwheelA stunning piece of kit on an app. Really enjoyed using this meter which is highly accurate, and an absolute 'must have' for a beginner right through to the expert. I had no trouble until a loss of picture, contacted the originator expecting either no reply or a long wait. But lo and behold, an answer within 4 minutes. Now THATS customer service. After various checks and trials it's now working again. This app tops for usage, ease, clarity, and most of all customer support!! Marks? 11 out of 10!!.Version: 1.1.3
✓ Good app - requires some time to understandI bought this app because i have a camera with several lenses and I wanted to know when each lens would be usable without pulling up my camera. It works well for that purpose but you do have to have some understanding of photography and understanding of how lenses work to use it that way. If you have that and you don't mind carrying your iphone or iPad around wherever you're shooting it works..Version: 1.1.2
✓ Best iPad meter I have used!I love this app. It is accurate and when needed for some situations, like shooting on snow, the meter can be biased to account for that condition. ✓ Great look, great feel, accurate!!!Tested this during some late exposures. It works and works well! My only issue is one of my ND filters is 10 stops and this only compensates up to 5 stops up or down, so still have some guess work on my part. But still, it works!.Version: 1.1.7
✓ Just the very thing I needed!As a user of old cameras, toy cameras and pinholes, having to carry a light meter around was a bit of a chore, especially when you had to do maths in your head because the meter did not cover your pinholes f-number. ✓ Perfect!This is just the app I have been looking for! This app is perfect for teaching people the concept of and relationship between exposure, ISO, aperture and shutter speed. As a training aid it will prove invaluable! I have also downloaded David's free iPhone app which is a less sophisticated but far prettier version of this one. Thanks for both your apps David. ✓ Perfect for digital, film, and pinhole!Great app, does all as advertised. I really like the simplicity and a lack of arbitrary limits to shutter speeds or apertures. No more getting a reading and then calculating beyond meter limits. Great for long exposures, and great for pinhole photography too as tiny apertures are supported too (all the way down to f/1024).
