Love the App, but......This is an amazing app. I use it as a school counselor to reinforce breathing and self-regulation skills. But,.. It has stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and still not working. Please Fix this SS! My students miss it..Version: 1.1.0

Wow! Great app for teaching self-calming & thinking of solutions.I just finished doing all of the activities in the new "Breathe, Think, Do" app from Sesame Street. Fabulous app! I love that the app includes examples of self-directed solutions as well as seeking help from an adult. And that 3 ideas for solutions are shown for each situation (helping kids see that there can be multiple alternatives). It's really cool how the app depicts the monster calming down as he breathes and thinks. The "Parent" section of the app has fabulous tips too. Most of the kids on my caseload have Autism or closely related diagnoses and high levels of anxiety. This app will be great to use with them. From an early childhood educatorI teach three and four year olds. We deal with a LOT of strong emotions! I highly recommend this app for parents of young children and for teachers! In fact I've encouraged parents to download it at parent teacher conferences! This app offers five common frustrating scenarios that occur in childhood, and a model to help children cope in an effective manner. It teaches them to take three, deep breaths when they are mad or frustrated, which is a tool I use all the time in the classroom. They pop the bubbles to give them time to think of a solution, then the app offers three developmentally appropriate choices. It's fun and encourages problem solving..Version: 1.5.5

Free and funThis app is so fun I love it so much you should get it and it is free.Version: 1.6

Love it...use it with preschool special needsThis app is amazing! I use it with preschoolers with special needs at various levels of functioning and they all learn how to breathe with the monster. I would highly recommend it and wished there were more scenarios to the app (because I would be willing to pay for them!)..Version: 1.1.0

Was good but has a problem with sound with latest updateThis was a great app but in the last update it has caused a problem with the sound.Version: 1.5.3

Great for school psychologists and educatorsAs a practicing school psychologist I use this with all of my elementary school students. During our sessions we focus on de-escalation techniques, mindful practices, cognitive distortions and realities, solution-oriented approaches, and conflict resolution. This app teaches ALL of that in a child-friendly and engaging format. I have recommended this app to many of my colleagues and recommend it to any educator or parent wishing to enhance the aforementioned skills..Version: 1.5.6

Lots of fun and learning! My almost 2 year old is having a lot of fun with this app. He caught on to the deep breathing and it has given us vocabulary for when he’s upset. I ask him to try his monster breathing. He is starting to get the concept and is really able to regulate much faster..Version: 1.5.6

Teaching executive function skillsFabulous game to teach executive function skills. Shows a child how you can stop and generate good choices. Love it! I use it at home with my 6 year old and at work with my preschoolers/kindergarteners with autism..Version: 1.1.0

Amazing app, 1000/10This app is even amazing for me, a 14 year old. The monster is adorable and teaches amazing lessons on how to calm yourself. This app is so cute and motivates me to do the right thing. Thank you for creating this! ❤️.Version: 1.7

Bravo for teaching emotional skillsWow! I'm a developmental specialist and this is perfect for children and parents I work with. I got it for my iPhone 6s and have tried it a few times and works perfectly so far. I'm excited that there is finally attention being given to emotional development and not just abc and 123.Version: 1.5.6

Incredible!Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame is an incredible interactive app on learning to self regulate by using the medium of the breath, then brainstorming a plan of action. I love how this teaches children that calming is within themselves and not through an external mean. There are 5 different situations familiar to kids in their everyday lives - dealing with frustration, fear, impatience, etc. Helping the monster come up with a plan of action, models making decisions or plans of actions. As a child becomes more involved in the decision making, they grow more confident and capable and willing to try alternatives to habitual patterns. There are 3 alternatives to explore in helping the little monster overcome his obstacle. Exploring each, demonstrates that there are no right or wrong answers to solving many problems...and that we may have to try a couple of things to help us calm down. Once a decision is made, you get to see the outcome play out, insuring further exploration of other choices. You are also reinforced by the narrator tellin you how helpful you've been. The hardest lesson for me as an adult has always been, that I do not have to follow habitual patterns, and that I can change on the spot. This is a valuable app for parents and clinicians, and one that should be reinforced as situations come up. Highly Highly Recommended..Version: 1.0.0

Best game everI love it it’s the best.Version: 1.8.1

My one year old is breathing himself to sleep!Love this app. Try to limit screen time to this and one other educational app more for the times when his siblings (or parents) are busy with their screens. Was using it more to introduce tapping the screen. He just turned one and has been using it about 2 months he just started mimicking the monster recently. And then just this week started using the breaths as we get ready for bed with one big breath as he settles in to sleep on his tummy and drifts off to sleep! No night time fuss! Love that he will grow with this mindfulness skill!.Version: 1.6

Love it!This is a really nice, calm app for my 3-year-old daughter to play with me or her dad! We practice breathing to help regulate her emotions already so this is a lovely app to show and discuss a healthy example how to navigate through difficult/upsetting situations!.Version: 1.7

Love it!My nieces love this app!!!.Version: 1.0.0

More a apps like this are needed...I use this app with preschoolers who need to learn to self regulate. The other day in my free clinic, I let a nonverbal five year old with autism take my iPad to explore some games while I spoke with his mother.I watched out of the corner of my eye while he drifted from game to game unengaged. Suddenly he found this app, and I assumed he would be bored instantly. Instead he was engaged for over 20 minutes, trying his best to mimic the breathing exercises demonstrated, and easily interacting with the activities. A little smile emerged as he listened to the lessons—even his mother couldn’t believe how attentive and involved he was. Please make more apps on self-regulating of behavior—this generation seems to need it more than ever, especially those children who don’t have disabilities :).Version: 1.1.0
