Train your baby to sleep the night so you can get some well needed rest. Uses a proven sleep training method which teaches your baby to self-soothe and go back to sleep.

Going to sleep independently is a learned behavior, and everyone needs a good night's sleep - Mom, Dad, siblings, and your infant. Once your infant's doctor tells you they no longer need to eat in the middle of the night (usually around 4-5 months old), they can learn how to put themselves to sleep and to sleep through the night. Unfortunately, while babies obviously know how to sleep, they don't necessarily know how to soothe themselves to sleep at bedtime, and back to sleep when they naturally wake up during the night. ✓ A sleep deprived mum's best friendAt 11 months my toddler had broken me. Waking every hour every night! Sleep training became very necessary but previous attempts were very rough on all of us and didn't stick. This timer on this app takes the guesswork out of when to go in and when to stay out. I can't think straight to make these kind of decisions in the night and this app does it for you. I had my first ever block of five hours sleep on the first night and continue to make rapid progress. There is very little information about sleep training itself and other methods than the 'popular' CIO. What's best for baby needs to be addressed which means a section with other methods since not every baby responds well to CIO. ✗ Nice timer, could be improvedI'm currently sleep training my 6-month-old son and this is a nice timer app. The log is confusing and could benefit from some simplification (way too many numbers). Also would be nice if the app credited Dr. Ferber for his "progressive waiting" method of sleep training.
