✓ Marital assistI find the app to be invaluable when I don’t remember a certain word or phrase in my Indonesian, which I used while in the military as a linguist. Indonesian Bahasa has about seven different regional dialects, which for an American, makes remembering all of the rules difficult after not using my Bahasa daily like I did thirty plus years ago. Having the translator at my fingertips is greatly appreciated. Any dialectical confusion makes it easy for my wife to correct me with. So, thanks much. Sarge.Version: 5.0.9
✓ Fun for learningThis app is fun for learning. I am learning Japanese at school so I can use this app to help me. It is sort of cheating but it helps a lot in sentence structure. ✓ For a language learner.This provides great fun for practicing my Italian. I just wish it would correct or help with my pronunciation. It will only speak the translated phrase unlike apps like Mate which can add audio to both phrases. Also useful to add, would be the ability to save both the Italian phrase and the English translation. Regardless, this is fun to use simply as a language learner. Its voice recognition seems more accurate for me than other apps I tried. Unfortunately for Mate. it still has many problems..Version: 5.0.13

✓ I love it, but here’s a recommendationI honestly love it. It’s extremely handy and just fun to play around with. However, for some languages, they are only available for text and sometimes I can’t pronounce the phrase I’m trying to say. I think that it would be handy to have all of them say the phrase in the language you are translating to, as it would be easier to try and say it. Also, I was wondering whether you could put some other languages on there, for example, Hawaiian. Other than that, it was a lot of fun to use and was extremely helpful too..Version: 4.13.8

✓ Great App!!I am a medical provider in a hospice setting and if a translator is needed for patient communication it is often delayed waiting to go through a contracted off site service. Using this app is a life & time saver ... and private. It allows for a better flow of communication so the patient feels that he / she has been listened to and concerns and questions have been addressed... We have used free services - but simply speaking and having it detect that I have finished talking - starting the translation immediately - makes the conversation much more fluid- is worth the monthly fee! ✓ Very good translatorThis is a very good app and was very handy on our recent holiday through China and Japan. I downloaded both dictionaries to use off line and was able to type in English and play back the translation on my iPhone so that the local person could listen and respond. Although there was the occasional incorrect sentence, this app was great. ✓ This app is probably the most important tool that I EVER Could have dreamt upI talk to homeless people and usually they know enough English to speak to and to understand each other. I met Yuliyan Yumetov yesterday Tuesday August 4th, 2020 and we spoke in bits of a few languages (mainly German and English) and we sort of could speak but we couldn’t say what we wanted to Ie speak fluidly and properly. This morning I met Yuliyan for an early-ish breakfast and brought him a coffee - a simply gesture to show my appreciation of his warmth and kindness (he gave me a towel because I was cold - and it was very warming and wore it back to my flat (temporary office). I wanted to properly speak to Yuliyan and thought to find an app where he could speak in his language (Bulgarian) and have it translated into English and vice versa . ✓ Excellent when it worksI have used this app in conjunction with Babbel (French) when the Babbel app does not come close to interpreting what I was saying. (The problem, as S&T proved, was an argument between my iMac and Babbel.) When S&T worked, it was great. One day it froze each time I opened it. Restarting my iPhone and opening the app again did not solve the issue. I cancelled my subscription, which should still be active for a few more days, but when I deleted the app to reload it (which I should have done before canceling) it only offered a free trial or new subscription. ✓ Love the App but too much for small usageI think you should have 2 types of pricing- one by the monthly/quarterly/annually, the other by the usage- 5 translations for each $1.00 not to exceed monthly fee. Nothing for months with no usage. I canceled my free subscription because I would probably use this once or twice a month and not every month. Even if you did no monthly fee if not used, I might consider but I’d probably use free translation sites first.
