✓ Pretty decent appCould be a 4 or 5 if it wouldn’t lose your spot when editing a video/picture. When switching back and forth between other apps such as my photos app or when I need to answer a text message ect., I click over to other app and when I come back to this one all my progress is being started over and that’s really really aggravating especially when I’m working on something and almost done with it then I have to swap over to something else for a brief minute or two and then come back to what I was editing and it’s no longer there you’re right back at the choose video or pic spot on the app and everything you have worked on is totally gone😤🤯 fix it and then I can fix my rating 😉.Version: 3.1
✓ Hits you with ads before you’re first time ever and locks all features behind a paywallThere is a paywall for crop, a paywall for trim, a paywall FOR EVERYTHING! I got this app because I needed to add 3 words to a video I was using to help someone learn a technique to help them with something and it was completely unusable and useless even for that simple task. If you add lots of static text to a video to upload on FB it will be rejected - whereas if you add scrolling text or captions it won’t. ✓ Over-pay?If you just want to 'over-lay' text onto your videos then this app is great. I especially like the skew feature which enables you to angle your text to give it a 3D feel. For the pro features of trimming and cropping of the video, and adding a music track, you have to make an in-app purchase which is a little too steep for my liking. There are free stickers too so there's plenty of features without making the upgrade. If the upgrade was cheaper, I might have been tempted to purchase..Version: 1.9
✓ Good but -This app overs amazing texts with really brilliant features such as reflection and graphics, so it would be 5/5 apart from the fact that you can't watch your video through to set when you want to que all your texts? ✓ Doesn’t do what you made it to doThis app is a horrible hodgepodge of an editing software. There’s a pay wall for almost everything except for putting text on videos, which is fortunate for me except, that feature, the feature advertised in the title of this app, doesn’t even work. Once you click on preview to see the video in its final form and get passed the barrage of advertisements the app throws at you, you’ll find out that your video isnt at all what you wanted. Instead you’ll see a black video with no noise and the only thing other than that you’ll see are words that you added to the video. ✓ Very limited capabilityNot happy with the limited options in iMovie on iPad, I tried this one to add texts to video. It works similar to adding a caption to video in iMovie except it allows you to specify the duration the text, which is a good option. Then it becomes more difficult (or impossible as I have not figured an easy way) to add different texts to different segments of the video. Not sure if has this functionality. Even if it has, it does not make it easy to use for a beginner. Will upload this app and look for another one for my iPad..Version: 2.7
