✓ Was Disappointed - now I'm OKI have had my SkyCaddie SG5 for a very long time - I think I am on my second or third 3yr subscription. I have used the SkyCaddie Mobile App to just track my score and a few stats for as long as it has been available. It does that just fine and works well to track stats. I now have the premium version, so I no longer get that annoying pop-up to purchase the premium version - which in my opinion I never should have received anyway when you are a subscriber to the service. I find this extremely annoying and I would think that SkyGolf could do better. Sorry, only 4 stars - app works great - don't try to nickel and dime me - I don't need the hassle..Version: 1.4.5

✓ Not an App review but a disappointment with SkycaddieI started with the SG4 which I used for a few years. Then upgraded to the SG5 because the charging port on the SG4 went bad. The unit could still work but can't charge it correctly. Myself an another me never mapped our course. One of them is available to download on the website (Wapsi Oaks Country Club in Calamus Iowa). Many years have passed since someone from Skycaddie stopped by to map the course CORRECTLY, but it was cold & rainy that day plus the person said he was fighting a cold at the same time. I've put I SEVERAL requests to have our course mapped by Skycaddie and NOTHING has come of it. Yes we're only a 9 hole course in the middle of no where. But it gets played by a lot of people. What's it gonna take to have our course mapped? Along with a couple other courses in our area that could be done also?.Version: 1.11

✓ Crashes; won't even openVery disappointed with this app and their new Linx GT which are supposed to work together. Waited all last season for them to get it shipped and now the app crashes constantly. Lost trust in Sky Golf. UPDATE June 7, 2017: after deleting the app, reinstalling it and doing a hard reset on my LinxGT, it solved the problem. The app is quite good and really useful. My only problem now is when there is a delay while your golf partner shoots, the app tends to think you must be taking shot from there and sometimes adds a shot. You have to monitor this quite often and delete the shot. My golf partner said I was paying too much attention to the app and watch than the game, which was true for the front 9. Overall, when used in conjunction with the LinxGT, it is a pretty cool app that records every shot. Also, the customer service was outstanding. Within an hour of my issues, I had an email talking me what to do. That was followed by a call (which I wasn't able to answer). That is really cool and kudos to Sky Golf for focusing on quick customer follow up. Now if we can keep the watch paired with the phone all the time and I don't have to worry about additional strokes on my game, I would give this a 5. Solid overall with a few easy fixes and great customer support..Version: 1.9

✓ Latest Fix Needs to Be FixedI like this app. It's a great way to keep my score on the course and it integrates well with SkyCaddie 360. I like the font format which allows me to read it without my glasses. Because it has the built in GPS/course layout I use this app and my SGXw is gathering dust. However, the latest "fix" made some changes that need to be unfixed. First, the icon to mark and track distance takes me to a club selection screen rather than the "Mark Ball" pop up screen. In addition, when it did work and I used it it did not automatically populate the stroke distance entry and it should. Second, club selection no longer includes any fairway metals other than three wood nor does it have the list of hybrid irons. Please put that back. Third, the DONE option on the upper right corner no longer takes me to the next hole it ends the app no matter what hole I'm on. Finally, the Sand Shot and Penalty Shot entry point options should be moved back down to the bottom of the score entry screen since they are limited use options..Version: 1.4.2
✓ Best Golf GPS AppThis app is killer. The maps are perfect and easy to use, and so is the on-course scoring. I highly recommend this to any golfer. I tested this against the cart's GPS system (Club Car Visage) and the yardages matched every single time. It doesn't drain your battery either (started at 100% and had 78% after using it the entire 4-hour round)! If you are a golfer, download this app and you will be impressed..Version: 1.4.1
✓ Very nice updateThis is a very good update from the previous version. Scoring is much better and the maps are excellent as always. There are a few things that keep me from giving it a full 5 stars. 1. The app doesn't seem to do anything with my club list. I checked the clubs in my bag in settings but it does not limit the list on the score and stats page. This causes a lot of scrolling. (The very thing this update was supposed to get rid of) 2. The system asks if I'm done with the hole before I've entered a score. This happens when I bring the screen out of hibernation. If you know I'm near the hole leave me alone. And if haven't entered a score and are on the next tee, then show the score sheet. 3. I have one suggestion about the list of clubs. When you select a club, display a pop up of all 14 clubs in one view, no scrolling. 2 picks and you're done. Pick club selection box, pick club or cancel. System returns to scoring panel. 4. How do I get the Smart Tags? Can't find them anywhere..Version: 1.4.1

✓ Nothing to complain hereI own a Skycaddie Touch with a Double-Eagle plan. I’ve downloaded this app on my IPhone Xr. Once logged in with my Skycaddie account, the app works flawlessly. In fact I prefer using the app on my Iphone better than using the Touch itself, because the screen is much bigger and far more pleasant to the eye. A 4 hour round uses 20-25 % of the battery and very little data. I’m very very pleased with this app !.Version: 1.11
✓ Great AppI have used a sky caddie GPS device for over 5 years. A few years ago I started using the app on my IPhone instead. Just easier and works great. However, after the last update IOS 13 the app crashes after each hole, basically requires me to choose the course and hole each hole. Please fix ASAP. Thanks!.Version: 1.11

✓ Crashes - updateThey finally got to my issue and with some very good back and forth communication I can once again use the app. Still some improvements that can be made so upped my rating to only a 4 star but it makes a great companion app for my Linx Watch. 👍 For almost two weeks now I have not been able to use the app. It crashes every time I try to access a course. ✓ Good AppI like this app. SkyCaddie have realised what Garmin have not, namely, that the future of golf GPS is smartphone based. With a little bit of tweaking this could be a really great app. A better zoom function (perhaps making use of the iPhone’s 3D touch) and better score recording options and interface would improve it. But good screen graphics and up to date and accurate hole data set this apart from the competition. Link it to the GT2 and club smart tags and you have the complete solution. ✓ Great with my Linx Vue WatchLoving this app with my Linx Vue Watch. Use watch when just need green info and Phone when need more info like bunkers or water. ✓ Trying to improveUpdate 6/22 Sky Caddie contacted me and continues to work thru the issues. A lot of the issues are user errors both in the set up of the accounts and using the device. The documentation could be better and the online support could be improved but once you contact them they will work very hard to make things right. They corrected the billing issue I had. The game tracker is working well now as is the GPS. The app's give very good feedback on your game. The issue with the courses not showing was because the course need to have HoleVue to use both gametracker and mobile SkyCaddie They are mapping the courses in the next month. I raised up to 4 stars. Holding one back for documentation. ************ Update 6/15 I was contacted by skyCaddie and they are trying very hard to help resolve my issues. I'm hopeful the end result will be positive. moved the rating up to two stars and rising. ***************** I purchased the gametracker, GT2 and premium app. Yes had to purchase since the free card did not work. Documentation is bad and support does not exist. First two courses did not come up even though the web site said they were mapped. 3rd time measurements were off by 20 yards compared to others I was playing with. Then it went haywire and could not lock on to where I was located. 4th time froze then could refine the course. I was looking at this vs Arccos but chose this because of the batteries. Wrong choice.Version: 1.4.5
