✓ Crashes frequently and does not auto advance holesThis app has been miserable to use due to the frequent crashes, inability to play a 9 hole round, and auto advance to next hole. 9 hole round asked for starting hole, entered 10 but always goes to hole 1 after entering score. Also lost my session and forced me to re-login but still crashed. This app is not ready..Version: 1.3.2
✓ It's ok.Can't zoom in on the green to fill up your phone screen. Plus distances are off compared to my range finder. Needs improvement. At least I don't have to send in my phone to have the battery replaced, every year like I've had to do with my skycaddie touch gps units. And have them return it to me and it still doesn't work..Version: 1.4.6
✓ Don’t Waste Your MoneyWith release of IOS 13, app now crashes every time screen goes to sleep mode. It’s obvious SkyGolf wants to sell you their hardware and will not support users of their software on mobile phones (app not updated in 2 years). I have 1-1/2 years left on 2 year membership fees but company will not offer any kind of refund. Very frustrating that this app is still allowed in the App Store..Version: 1.11
✓ They WILL NOT STOP EMAILINGThese people will not stop emailing me I cancelled my app immediately and I have got email after email I have requested 10 times for it to stop and they do not do anything there is no abs unsubscribe option it is harassment. Don’t even bother they will harass you and continue to email you with long after you have requested for them to stop..Version: 1.11
✓ Waiting for it to workI have owned SkyCaddie products since their inception - their accuracy is exceptional. However, as time has passed, I have had number of challenges. Currently my challenge is the whole system. I have the app, linx and tabs and they are not useful yet. First, one of the courses I have for download is not even an option on the app, yet my linx does have it. The app consistently crashes at my home course providing such a distraction I can’t use thetabs. It has been two weeks since I reported the issue and it is still unresolved. It has been two months now and I have to say that overall this been a pretty bad experience. Although they were finally able to get the course added, the app crashes pretty much every hole. After around seven conversations with customer support, there has and appears to be no progress for now or ever. I am rerating to a one star and appear to be stuck with a gps watch that I spent a significant amount that can only do what my range finder does better..Version: 1.11
✓ Waste of $$$ DOESN’T WORK W IPHONEIf you have an iPhone running ios13, the app is useless! It crashes every time you're not actively using the app... which means IT CRASHES AND YOU NEED TO RESTART IT 60, 70, 80+ times per round! ✓ Piss poor!Sky caddie talk a good game when it come to how accurate they are and that’s why I bought one of there watches and downloaded there apps but there apps are very very poor! They freeze there slow and very basic compared to others like 18Birdies or Golfshot and if you have the SW2 watch it will link up with the app but that’s it! If you hit the mark button on your watch it won’t automatically register on the app. This golfer regrets buying sky caddies products.Version: 1.11

✓ Nice but no good without signalThis would be nice add-on to my SkyCaddie account (for when I've forgotten my SG5). However, I tried, but could not see how I could download a course before playing. The first time I tried it, I was able to see the first hole when I had wi-fi, but, at the course itself, there was no signal. Therefore, no download. Until this is fixed, it's only useful if you have data connection at the course.Version: 1.3.2

✓ Simply doesn’t workI was looking for a mobile app to replace my garmin golf gps device. I thought I’d try Sky Caddie. But at the golf club that I play at there is no mobile coverage like many in Devon. So all I see is Sky Caddie needs an internet connection to work. I guess no download of courses in advance then. There doesn’t seem to be any sense of urgency to fix this issue. Now using Hole 19 till they fix the issue. I have been using SkyGolf products since they launched. ✓ Shuts down after phone locksThis application is no longer usable after the iOS13 upgrade. When you start a round then play a hole and go back to the app to log your score you have to re-sync and “continue round”. ✓ UselessI recently purchased the GT2 Gametracker system to use with this app. I love the concept. However, the product is useless because the app is terrible. I have played, or tried to play, two rounds using the app. The first time the app crashed 10 times in less than 9 holes. The second time, the app did fine for 8 holes. It crashed for the first time on the 9th hole. It then crashed 10 to 12 more times before the 15th hole. It was so frustrating, I stopped counting. What is even more frustrating is that Sky Golf will not refund the shipping costs they charged me. It is not my fault they sent a useless product. I would understand if the product worked and I simply decided I didn’t want to keep it. But, they sent me a useless product because the app is so bad..Version: 1.11

✓ Frustrating but could be greatAfter taking a couple years to fix the application crashing every time I attempted to enter a score it now restarts fresh after locking the screen as other users have mentioned here. This started happening after the iOS 13 upgrade. I called tech support and they said they hadn’t not heard about this. I guess they don’t read these reviews?? They instructed me delete the app, reboot my phone and then re-install. I did this to no avail... as I expected. ✓ Too much junkThis app contains too much junk that just gets in the way making it difficult and timely to use. Most golfers want distances only. Score cards are provided by the golf course. I know how far my clubs go on any day according to conditions. Your club selection assistance is useless. I only want to compete with the people I am playing with not the Internet. ✓ Horrible! Poor support! Rip off!Long time paid Skygolf member (15+ yrs) and SkyCaddie user. Got mobile app while travelling overseas without my skycaddie. Despite my fully paid double eagle plus (3 yr) membership, skygolf wanted $40 to use iPhone premium version. Support told me I did not need to pay... over 30 min of trying everything it finally seemed to work. Got to course today and app would NOT SHOW YARDAGE without paying $40 upgrade. Without distances, there is no point of the app IMHO. Not happy....Version: 1.11
✓ Room for improvementI use the app as part of the Linxvue product (uses GPS date from watch rather than phone). I had used an SG-3.5 for 5 previous seasons and loved it. I'll start by saying it works, but you have to massage it Likes- graphics are great and like the interactive holevue feature for measuring things from where you are not supposed to be. Needs improvement- No demo or course preview mode. Hate that. Intelligreen plus (contours) does not work. Similarly there is only one zoom level for the area around the green and it is not big enough. Even using GPS boost I had to buy a battery case for my phone to make it through a round. sync with watch recovers quickly if you walk out of Bluetooth range..Version: 1.4.5

✓ Could be betterI have had the SG5 SkyCaddie for a long time and it was a great asset to my game But it is getting battered. The screen was scratched and the back light had stopped working after getting dropped. So I thought I would try the app. Basic was not good enough so upgraded to premium. After a few false starts I finally got it working. Unfortunately it is not as good as the SG5 and it is not accurate enough in locating your position and to slow updating if the app closes. This slows your game down. It has some good features and the SX500 has these and more so will be changing to that..Version: 1.11
