✓ A lot to offer, but....SkyPro does some great things. But when I need ️its help the most it bugs out. In the groove (practice) mode, when I try to access the description of the various swing parameters, it crashes. It's aggravating..Version: 2.1.2
✓ No data thru impact or cloud/websiteMy biggest complaint is no data thru impact and the follow thru. My second is the docs refer to your data being backup on a cloud with reports on their website….not true. That's suppose in the future. ✓ What a shameI had high hopes but for me at least, it lacks some important metrics and explanations. The most serious omission is the measurement of face angle at impact which for slicers, hookers or those trying to shape their shots is a very big deal. It offers face angle at several other swing points so its omission is something of a mystery. I understand that at address some people may not have their club face square to target but returning it to the address position is the only realistic way of measuring a straight shot. If users understand that the face position at impact is measured relative to face position at address they should then be able to choose whether they want to execute a draw, a straight shot or a fade. Also, I can't understand why there isn't more of a user manual, it can't be that hard to devise. The individual explanations of the relevance of the various positions in the 'groove' section are generally too limited and offer no proper advice on what we should be aiming for and why. Incomprehensibly there are only two 'pro swing' data entries and one of them is incomplete! There is no guidance on which 'groove' options to focus on to correct an 'over the top' swing path which is probably the most common fault in golf. There are some useful things such as the 3D view of your swing and shaft lean and angle at impact so it definitely has some use and therefore it's not all bad but it could be so much better for very little effort..Version: 2.2.2
✓ Great tech...poor appI love this technology, but the "Groove" function keeps causing the app to crash when selected. I have tried on multiple Apple devices but same result. SkyGolf...please fix your unstable app ASAP, this product is too expensive to have bugs like this. Thanks!.Version: 2.1
✓ CrashesThe app works great with my iPad but I am unable to record a single swing with my iPhone 5 I have also tried an iPhone 4S with the same result. The app crashes as soon as it records a swing on the iPhone. Hence the 3 rating. However, I must say with the iPad this is a great tool for analysing my swing..Version: 1.3
✓ Can't upload swings anymore?No way to manually start uploading swings to cloud. Also, what the hell is an 11 iron or 12 iron? Can we get with the times? Also, none under 75 hits a 7 wood. They are hybrids. Can you name clubs what they are? Or are we to associate data for a 13 iron for a 60 degree lob wedge? What golf company would do something so idiotic?.Version: 2.0.1

✓ Crashing AppFollowing on from my rant yesterday ref the crashing app. It appears that its to do with the date format. Following advice from another user. I changed the regional format from UK to US and the demo version of the app is working fine and showing what can be done with app. Yet to test in swing mode but hopeful. I will share if successful. ✓ App CrashesI was able to use most of the features prior to the latest update. Since the update the App has become useless. Almost all the time it crashes on the first swing after calibrating. It also crashes on the first swing of a Groove session. The Swing Library screen does not match the Swing Library screen referenced in Help. Other than layout differences there is no calendar button. In Swing Libaray : Edit, at the bottom of the screen there is 'DeleteButtonTitle' and 'ShareButtonTitle', which are obvius references to the functions attached to them. They should read 'Delete' and 'Share'. Selecting 'ShareButtonTitle' in Swing Library : Edit enables a pop up window with 'Email', 'Twitter' and 'Facebook'. Selecting 'Email' opens a warning dialog, "Couldn't Upload Swing. The resource could not be loaded..." and creates an email with the swing resources file. Selecting 'Twitter' and 'Facebook' provides the same warning, which when acknowledged takes one back to the Swing Library. and the Edit screen in the Swing Library : Edit, on an iPhone 6+.Version: 2.1.3
✓ New bugsAfter sometime without using this app, I've used it recently and found it very difficult if not impossible to calibrate clubs. On the calibration screen it says to press more firmly yet when I do just that the firmness sensor on the screen causes the app to crash. I have been able to manually calibrate clubs, but even after that the lag between a swing and the results is significant. When I first purchased this device a couple years ago it worked flawlessly. I am hopeful that the app makers will update the firmware to resolve this issue and potentially add new and improved measurements..Version: 2.1.2
✓ Needs some fixes, but promising.First, can't seem to delete the demo swings. I was able to delete my swings, so I know how the delete function works, but no dice on the demo swings. Annoying. Second, my device said "Rico" on the Bluetooth list. Took me a minute to figure out that it was the SkyPro device. Not sure why it says "Rico." Third, customer service this far has been poor. Über long hold times, and no email option I can find. Other than that the app is slick and fairly intuitive. The device seems pretty accurate as I manipulated a bunch of swings to see how the device would respond and it did well..Version: 1.2

✓ IPod touch 6th Generation SupportSeems not to work with new iPod touch 6th Generation even though supported devices say iPod touch in the store. My iOS is 9.3.1. Bluetooth settings recognize the skypro, but software will not recognize it and keeps saying no device connected even though Bluetooth shows it as connected. Please fix this and I will give a deserving rating once I can actually use it on this iOS device..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Poorly tested releaseInstalled last night keen to use the new AoA calculation, big mistake. App totally crashed requiring a iTunes restore resulting in the loss of 350 swings. ✓ Good. Not great.I like the app and analyzer, but why can't you get the entire swing in 3D. Currently you only get half of it. I know that the sensor is capable of doing this, so why not make that available?... I just don't get it..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Not as expectedThe app works ok with the device. It measures most swings without a problem. I was expecting a lot more feedback from The device itself, Skypro. The groove session only helps you repeat a move on a swing you have already performed, but never teaches you how to perform or feel that mood. Although it does point out flaws, i would have liked a straightforward approach where the app would not only tell you your flaw (which it does) but a tip on how to improve or work on that flaw. It tells you a few flaws at somepoint in the swing and leaves you on your own. Also, only measures club, and not body (shoulder turn for example). Very incomplete in my opinion, but hopefully they upgrade the app to cover these things in the future..Version: 1.2
✓ Open/closed references are backwards.First of all I love this swing trainer. It's a great tool to help analyze your swing. My only complaint is that when it references your club face position at the top of the swing (open or closed) it's backwards from what it actually should be. I took the Skypro to my PGA Pro and told me how it works. He noticed it while he was filming my swing. The app said I had an open club face when it was actually closed. ✓ Hoped for moreRecently received my SkyPro - 1) The on-club Device looks pretty slick, except for the little (big) wheel… a little distracting. 2) Calibration is pretty embarrassing at the range… plus you have to put your $600 iPhone on the face of a filthy/sandy club face every time you want to switch clubs. I'd hate to try calibrating with my iPad... 3) Out of my first 6 swings it only recorded 1 4) I don't really like that you actually have to interact with the app at the range to get any value out of it. Some of the similar apps/devices display all of the pertinent information immediately on the screen, whereas with sky pro you really have to dive into the screens to get any valuable data out of it. Expected more with the Skygolf name behind it. It seems more like a toy/gadget than a real learning/improvement tool..Version: 1.2

✓ App crashingThis product worked for about 3 putts in my living room tonight. Then the app crashed and I have not been successful at getting the app to get past the splash screen. Upon getting the product everything worked well. Paired, calibrated, made a few putts no issue. Then looking through the data the app crashed. I have not been able to get past the splash screen since. Reinstalled the app, restarted phone, and even reset all phone settings. No luck. I hope some from sky golf sees this and can find an issue or I will likely be sending the unit back if the app can't stay running. I believe I have the latest version as it said it was released on 6/23 but I can't open the app to even be able to check..Version: 2.0.5
