✓ Disappointing reliability and currency handlingWhen the app works it is great but atleast couple times a week the currency conversions mess up and some TSX stocks completely disappear. Kind of alarming when your portfolio drops in half. If they can fix this it can’t be beat..Version: 2.5.6
✓ Pity, this app could be greatI’ve been using this app for several years and it’s pretty good. Simple to enter and update information about each investment with a clear presentation by each investment and a summary of total portfolio performance. So why then only a 3 star rating? The problem is the app does NOT consistently update all holdings at close of market each day, rendering the portfolio total inaccurate. For some reason on some days (but not all) it fails to update the closing price of some ETFs. Perhaps this is because these ETFs reset a few hours after the US market close? Not sure, but it’s an unfortunate flaw in an otherwise good app..Version: 3.0.1
✓ It doesn’t work for me 🙁I have tried to get this App to work in a way that makes sense to me. Entering a stock code seems not to work. Lon:QQ or QQ, is not recognised. It should echo the name of the stock (eg. QinetiQ plc). Having changed the currency to Uk sterling, it continued in US dollars. The stock price? In pounds or pence? I’m sure the app has potential to work and therefore be ‘useful’….. but not now, sadly. I’m happy to pay for an app that is easy to use, and works! This one doesn’t..Version: 2.9.0

✓ Very good but stopped workingI have had this app for just some months and it has worked exceptionally well, but since last week the app just isn’t loading my portfolio, it says I am having internet issues when in fact every other app that requires the internet is working just fine..Version: 3.0.1
✓ Was pretty good … now is brokenThis was a pretty good app. I liked it. But suddenly it stopped working — stopped loading price information, portfolio values … stopped pretty much everything. This happened a while back and the developer seems blissfully unaware that their app is completely non-functioning— at least for this user. Also, no development updates in over a year. ✓ Not what you want1. The portfolio tracker is transaction based only. So if you buy 100 shares of XXX and then another 100 shares, you don’t see you own 200 shares. You only see 2 transactions of 100. So your portfolio will get very messy, very quickly. 2. You can’t rename portfolios. 3. No graphs to show profit/loss over time. 4. See (1). I mean, how can you not combine positions? That also mean that you can’t see average price unless you modify the original transaction. 5. This will cost up to $999/year for this less then basic app. 6. You will be upset you wasted time and money on this. Response to developer: I did try it. I entered some of my accounts and gave it a shot. That’s how I found out about is serious shortcomings. And the $999 is from the iTunes subscription page. ✓ AdequateIf you have more than two portfolios to track (and I do) you need to upgrade to premium to add them. If all you want is current net worth across portfolios you get that. I can’t seem to get any kind of chart over time of net worth or for individual portfolios. It gets annoying to click on menu items and get “You need to upgrade to get this feature”. I’d rather have the unavailable items marked in a way that you can tell they require an upgrade BEFORE you click on them. I’ve pretty much given up on clicking on unfamiliar menu items..Version: 2.5.3

✓ Endless notifications, no matter what settingCan’t control notifications no matter what you change your settings to. Every 5 minutes it’s telling me about Dow futures or some obscure company’s upcoming earnings, or some unusual options activity that I don’t care about. No matter how you do your notification settings, they don’t stop. Update - even if you disable notifications altogether, they keep coming. It’s a great app BUT THE USELESS NOTIFICATIONS NEVER END!! ✓ Could be great but falls shortUnfortunately this portfolio tracker does not allow you to manually enter stock or bond positions; therefore, there is no way to accurately track your actual portfolio if it contains “unusual” investments such as fixed income (bonds) or foreign exchange stocks. Basically you can manually add a position, but the app forces you to define the position by symbol (CUSIP not available). You can enter any symbol you want and assign a cost basis manually. But if the app doesn’t recognize your symbol there is no way to manually enter the current price, so there is no way to track total portfolio. Interestingly if you import from broker, the app will import symbols it doesn’t recognize (in my case, a bond) but it doesn’t import current market price. Maybe the premium features allow his but it’s not stated in the description..Version: 2.3.8
✓ Completely inaccurateWhen I open this app four hours after market closing, I get completely inaccurate readings. My balance is off by five or six hundred dollars, not all of the stocks have a day change amount just a zero. I can go back a few minutes later and get a completely different result. I never know if profit or loss amounts are accurate because they change constantly hours after the market has closed. I have this app on several different devices and each one has a different result. ✓ CorrespondenceLove the app but get no response when trying to email or message the creators. Unable to get News or Research and have an upgraded plan and no response from the creators of the app. When trying to message says no Internet connection and everything on my phone is connected. ✓ Same old problemsI have used this app for about 1.5 years or so. I get daily updates for my mutual funds and they are almost always wrong. The stock market will take a dive but the daily updates indicate my mutual funds are up. After about 5 pm, the final numbers are correct, but the updates are still wrong. Today, the update reported about $500 profit in fact it was a $500 loss. Just a little annoying. An update at least 6 months later. Same problem. Today I get a finance update showing I gained 1.55 percent today. I go into my portfolio and it shows down 2.85 percent. The uptick should be correct. ✓ Very useful tool; but it quit workingThis app was very useful and one of my favorite, but from July, 2023 onwards It no longer works. Won’t load portfolio data just gives bogus error message. I have reported the problem to the developers several times via their email but no response. ✓ Helpful / Some late quotesI’ve used this 4 or 5 years. It’s an easy to use basic tracker. One plus is that quotes are usually in real time (or very close) which is helpful for tracking stocks and ETFs. One downside is that frequently one of the quotes is inaccurate or a day behind or not showing at all. The 3rd issue results in a 0 balance for said fund and of course diminishes the total portfolio value. I’ve used the research tools a bit and am impressed by the amount of data available on even my $30 yearly subscription. But the inaccuracies aforementioned require me to maintain a second tracker..Version: 3.0.1

✓ App Does Not WorkSept 17 update: App still not consistently working and developers will not respond to email. Loki’s like they are done. So I moved to Morningstar. It’s not as user friendly and is more expensive. But at least Morningstar works. I have used this app for several years. This week it quit working. The app developer will not respond to inquiries for assistance. But they happily took my $30 subscription fee. App started working on Jul 28 and died again on Aug 7. ✓ I canceled my subscriptionI never complain about products in a public platform. But, this situation is different! I had been using this portfolio app for several years. I had invested a lot of time entering my stocks and other investments into my profile. Then a few months back my portfolio disappeared and I could not login. I have to say that I had issues before that were immediately fixed after so reached out. But, not this time! After my app no longer functioned I reached out to the company that produced this app many times by email and by phone and I never heard back from anyone. I filed complaints with Apple as well- to no avail. This company took my annual subscription in May and have provided no service at least since July. I can only assume they are out of business or they are not acting in a responsible manner. Given my experiences, I suggest parole avoid this app..Version: 3.0.1

✓ The GunnahThe free portfolio that I had for years was something that I enjoyed and appreciated quite a bit! Then without any warning either join or your out was ever sent. I most likely would have joined at that point and used it everyday. A little while back, a week or so? I opened it up it had my two templates for my portfolio but all of the data has been deleted! I had extensive notes on most of my positions and alerts set for them again on this site. There are so many other options that are available and some that are superior to this one. ✓ Occasionally Hides Holdings; Great Simplistic LayoutThe app was extremely useful until today when I noticed the total value was off. The values of one holding were not shown in the app, and even after completely restarting the app, the values were not present. This happened randomly to numerous holdings throughout the day, and I will be giving the app a rest until this is repaired. Also, following the review of someone else, I agree that mutual funds should only show daily gain after they post their nav end of day. Having the individual stockholdings within a pie chart would look much more aesthetic than the current as well. Also wondering if there is any feature which compensates for interest on cash positions and dividends on various other investments as well as an implementation for reinvestment..Version: 2.1.0
✓ Slow, not much coverage outside USThe app prioritizes the loading of ads before loading your content. So if you want a quick glance, you have to wait for the system to first load the ad, then it slowly loads stock data. Gets super annoying when checking multiple times a day. Also, it lacks many foreign markets (ie: Canada). Lately the UI isn't the best. Has potential but needs a lot of work..Version: 2.1.2
