✓ Can only download to one device - rip offMy toddler loved the free version of this app so I bought the full version, which I thought was a bit steep for £9.99. I found out today that you can't use it on multiple devices, so if I want it on my phone and iPad I have to fork out twice! I would expect that for the exorbitant cost you'd be able to use the app on all your iTunes devices. I'm SO disappointed in this..Version: 9.0
✓ Misleading!!!!!!!The free app only gets child to try tracing first 4 letters after that it stops child from doing anything else and effectively demands more money, per letter. It doesn't matter where you click in the screen, the only option that comes up is to pay up!!! If it weren't for the aggressive selling, I would have considered purchasing....Version: 6.0
✓ Nice but one problem....Love the app and bought the whole package so we could have all the letters because my kids liked it so much. My biggest issue is when I purchased it it loaded on my phone but not on the iPad. I deleted and reinstalled, etc but could not get all the letters to unlock on the iPad. I emailed for support but never got a response. 5 stars for the app on my phone but negative stars for getting it to load on the iPad......Version: 4.0

✓ Great app, but just FYI....We love Pink Fong apps! They really are great, even if they can be a bit pricey. I gave it three stars for this reason: Purchases do not transfer from one device to another! Even if you are using the same account and have family sharing activated (on iPads), it has been very frustrating that I have to purchase the same packages multiple times for each device. That is not fair to the customers! I have not found a fix for this, so just be aware..Version: 21.0

The reason for one star is I've found out that after paying for the full version on my phone, this purchase doesn't work across other devices so I'm being asked to pay another £9.99 (says it's an offer of 70% off but it's always discounted) to download onto my iPad. It's the same if it's deleted by accident, which is likely to happen given the ages this is aimed at! Bit of a cheek and a rip off really. ✓ ADS!Love the app and so do my kids. Most money I’ve ever spent on an app to get all the content. That being said, I shouldn’t be given ads to download more of their apps whenever the app boots up. I have to close an ad every single time so my kids can actually use it. Please remove your ads. ✓ Caution! ABC phonics song is in Kids Songs.I bought the Abc phonics and found that the songs are the exact same ones in the Kids songs app from the same app company pink fong. I paid 9.99 for the letter tracing, games, and photo frames which are very repetitive...if it wasn't for the clever star award tracing letter game my 2 year old would not continue to play with it. Some of the sounds are not pronounced correctly. I give it a 3 because I double paid the same songs in another app..Version: 5.0

✓ MediocreI paid $59 for a year subscription. My 2 year old loves it, however the teacher in me hates it. This is supposed to be a phonics app to help kids learn their letters and sounds, yet so many of the sounds are wrong! Continuous sounds like /f/, /v/, and /s/ are given “fuh” and “suh” sounds. R-controlled vowels are added to the songs for vowels. For example in the “Aa” song they use the word “airplane” to teach the /a/ sound. That word doesn’t make the short or long a sounds because it’s an r-controlled vowel. The same can be said for the “o” sound. They use words like “orange.” There are so many of these instances. Another nuance is the fact that they use “xylophone” to teach the /x/ sounds when it starts with the /z/ sound. This would be so confusing for a child actually using the app to learn their letter names and sounds. In the tracing app for the letter “m” there is a picture of a monkey chasing bananas, it should be making the /m/ sounds but repeats the /b/ sound for the letter m…there are so many mistakes in this app!!! This app has so much potential but the creators need to take a lesson in phonics themselves..Version: 22.2

However the American pronunciations and words as well as Zee not Zed, are confusing for kids speaking British English. The price at £9.99 is exorbitant. Worst of all though if you do decide to pay £9.99 for the full game or more if you buy in stages, then as an in-app purchase it's only valid on the device you purchased it on, which is a ludicrous ripoff, and if you upgrade that device you have lost your purchase.
