✓ HELP WITH CAMERA FUNCTION PLEASE!Can anyone PLEASE help me to understand how to use the ‘camera’ function within this app. My understanding is that you take a picture of a small portion of text, the app analyzes it and translates it for you...What am I getting instead? A blue line that bounces from left to right continually with NO END OR TRANSLATION in sight! Am I misunderstanding this function?!?!.Confused about Jisho!Version: 1.13.3

✓ Lifetime purchase doesn’t include all featuresI think it’s lame lifetime purchase doesn’t include pitch accents. This is a free feature in other free to use apps. Also there is no way to include example phrases from the dictionary into the flashcards..Xi'anrenVersion: 1.30.8

✓ MistakesI purchased the app for 3 months and as a dictionary if you know Hiragana works fine. However it’s use of romanji sometimes is off (eg du for zu) I will probably end up buying the app permanent more for it flash cards to review words that I have looked up (a nice feature) however it has some irritating problems and mistakes. 1) the Kanji at times when it gives examples in its usage is outright wrong. You click the Kanji word and a different Kanji appears. 2) Also the example sentences they give with certain word seems to be computer generated so that even more complex words are added to the sample sentence making the sample sentence incomprehensible at times. It seems that a sentence would be generated to use as much complex words as possible so it can be reused for other examples. 3) The sample sentence does not include the the translated word, making me wonder whether the meaning given by the dictionary is correct. eg try look up Osameru/ Osamaru. Has potential to be a five star application but would try the application for a few months and make sure you can tolerate the mistakes..ThisprogramsucksVersion: 1.19.5

✓ Nicely designed but helpful flash cards need a “”free”” trial for 14 daysAs the title says, the kanji flash cards for different grades are hidden behind a “free trial” pay wall, we all know what that means. ✓ Needs WorkThe OCR is very accurate, but every other aspect needs development to compete with other MUCH cheaper dictionary apps . There is no analyzer to dump the OCR text to a list, for starters. No handwriting input. The whole things feels unfinished, and the pricing is downright silly. Yomiwa costs $13 one time and does way more, though with an uglier interface. ✓ Inconvenient for quick searchEvery time entering the app, you need to tap the search bar to draw keyboard out. That’s what I think inconvenient. Why not automatically pop out the keyboard and begin to input words you wanna look up? Additional tapping the top search bar really waste time and frustrating. As a whole, this app is terrific. Beautiful colors and detailed interpretation leave me a deep impression.
