✓ Fundamentally flawedWon't read a wide variety of conventional barcodes. Does work with QR codes and some (very few in my experience) normal barcodes. Had one job, couldn't oblige. Update: based on other reviews this might be an issue with Australian barcodes. Buyer beware, Devs get it sorted please..Version: 0.63

✓ Worst time connecting ever.I bought a variety of wireless cameras. This one is the most difficult to connect. As of now I'm on hour 3. I've downloaded multiple apps. Even changed my IP ADDRESS which I encourage you NEVER to do. The support online is terrible and there are no resources that are anywhere close to decent for this hunk of junk. Stay away if you at all want something reasonable. If you're a gluten for punishment then by all means. This camera is for you. I'm not one of those .... people..Version: 0.13

✓ Scam! Ad Button Works, Scan Button Doesn’t!The placement of the Ad Banner is positioned right on top of the Scan Button and in-app purchase Buttons. How irritating! It’s hard enough to get small QR Codes into position without, having to worry about accidentally tapping a stupid Ad Button! BTW, it’s true, the Scan Button did NOTHING! If this app only reads QR Codes for certain products, be transparent about that and save your consumers some time! Maybe some people won’t mind that! ✓ The price of progressI loaded this app some time ago and it worked like a champ. We were working on a project printing QR codes and this app was great for checking readability. Then came the last upgrade now it does not scan efficiently at and I get ads on the screen all the time what an intrusion, I hate losing screen space to something I did not want to see and need to remove all the time. Have deleted app and will try others. Shame.Version: 0.25
✓ Unecessary required subscriptionLong time user of this app here. Was good to use until recently with their required subscription to even use now. Was free with ads which was perfectly fine honestly. This egregious change recently has completely ruined this app and officially made me delete it. Very sad to see my favorite apps go down the toilet because of constant subscriptions. Unless the developers decide to change this, which im pretty sure they wont. ✓ Boo-awful!!!It might tell you what the item is. I scanned the item box to see where I could find it, and I got Amazon/Brussels, Belgium/and pounds for prices. Then the only other listing said product, which is an over the counter migraine relief, wasn't recognized by Fb. Fb? What does Fb have to do with the scanner? I looked up the app on my phone to get the information to complain, and it said you had to cancel the subscription through iTunes. Then I couldn't cancel the subscription that I didn't realize I had when I went to iTunes. iTunes said I had to use my computer that isn't working. Yet I got the barcode scanner app through the App store on my phone, installed the trial run on my phone, used the app on my phone, and after the trial run deleted the app icon only, evidently, not the app, on my phone. Just downloading it for a trial run got a subscription on iTunes that can't be canceled on my phone. Now I'm trying to contact apple. What a cheat..Version: 0.64

✓ What Happened???I’ve used this App for a good while with excellent results. That’s why I gave 2 stars rather than one. This morning I tried scanning a pair of Under Armour pants. First thing that happened was a pop-up advertisement saying that I’d won &100 if I’d go to some site. I got that off the screen, scanned again, and the text at the top of the screen said Under Armour Pants, but below it showed a picture of a forklift! ✓ No sound when opening videos; trapped in app - won't open link in browserPerhaps I didn't take the time to investigate, but another app works out of the box. This app opened the URL inside itself - not in Safari - and it was impossible to get the sound to play. Dead silence. If you want a quick app that just works out of the box ad you expect, skip this. I installed another app after this one and it opened the URL in a browser as I was expecting (and sound played)..Version: 0.13

✓ Was good, now terribleNot happy! Before last week’s update this was a great scanner - showed all info at once on screen. Now just shows a small portion and asks if you want to search on google- as we use self-generated codes this not useful. Also history option no longer allows info to be scrolled, so losing early data on big text heavy codes..Version: 0.19
