✓ Great app, easy to useThe app works great and my gripes are minimal. 1) I wish there was a readily available way to save patterns as PDFs to be able to use them in knitting apps like knitCompanion without having to take screenshots and convert those. ✓ Enjoyable reading and lovely patternsThis is a very aspirational magazine for me but I enjoy admiring the beautiful patterns. Patterns I have tried have worked well and produced good results and I enjoy lthe challenge of new techniques. I am a slow knitter so often knit items published years before. The downside is that the beautiful, high quality yarns featured can be unobtainable quite quickly, so recommendations for suitable alternative yarns would be useful. The tutorials are brilliant! And the ability to search back on the website makes them an invaluable reference tool..Version: 5.6.5
✓ A magazine with lots of useable Patterns!I believe this is my favourite knitting magazine of them all! There are lots of terrific patterns in every copy I receive as well as great advice. The only negatives I have is too many emails received. ✓ Great space-saver!I’ve managed to collect the first 91 editions of The Knitter and was delighted to find this app. to save space on the bookshelf! I did find it a little confusing to start with but the ‘Support’ section is pretty comprehensive. If, like me, you want to jot notes down on a paper copy, it’s easy to print out just the pages you want. You can subscribe or order back-copies via the app. which stay in your library for ease of reference even if you decide to cancel your subscription. A great tool for the avid knitter..Version: 5.4.4

✓ The bestI've had this magazine for a couple of years and have even got all available back issues. Every issue has great designs for family members. I'm a lace Knitter so I eagerly await shawl designs. They are always by top notch designers and even the ones I don't want to work are pretty. One of the great things is you can print from the magazine. Not all online subscriptions do that. The price is reasonable and if you subscribe for longer periods the price is even greater. ✓ The best magazine for a serious knitterThis magazine has lots of useful information and useful patterns unlike many others I've seen which seem full of scarves and toys..Version: 3.11.2
✓ How to get old issues backThis is what I did after updating to the new app. It took time but all of my old issues were back so it was worth it to me. Do not delete your old app. If you did, get it back and reinstall all of your old issues. Go to the Apple App Store and install the new app. Use the restore my purchases option. After a while you should be able to see those issues again and they should be ready for down load. If not, close the app, turn off your iPad, wait a bit and turn it on again. Go to the new app and sync. I did not delete the old app just in case. This is the most inelegant way of upgrading but it worked for me. The publication isn't exactly the most economical and one would think the IT group would had thoroughly tested the upgrade. Overall, five stars for a great magazine, one star for the upgrade process..Version: 3.3.40

My one glitch is when something needs further explaining or conversation about the website there never seems to be a good way to contact you or get a response from you.
