✓ Good. Set expectations before useThis feels like a proof of concept which is well done. If I can find fault with it then it isn’t the App but the medium. Holding an iPad in front of your face for more than a few minutes gets tiring on the arms. If this were on VR glasses then it would be superb. Try the “Space Walker” movie. ✓ First Experience with VR and it’s great!I just recently got a VR Headset to just chill and go through the VR experience and it’s amazing! I first got Google Cardboard which this app is compatible with and it’s amazing! Just before writing this review I did the Lego Batman experience and the Mission Impossible mission and it’s pretty amazing! ✓ Proper stereoscopic immersionWhat I like best about this compared to the many other similar apps I've tried is that it is stereoscopic 360° video. Most other apps are: - stereo 360° NON-video (i.e. live 3D animation), or - NON-stereo 360° video, or - stereo NON-360° video (without head-tracking). Finally this is a system which is dedicated to all three. With headphones this is the most immersive Cardboard experience I've found yet. ✓ Fun but....I enjoy this app. Lots of interesting adventures. I’d like to suggest a history experience. Roman Empire? Maybe. I see most of these experiences are based in the here and now or in the imaginative realm, which is great! But I’d like to take a trip to Ancient Rome. Sit at the round table with King Arthur. Sails the seas with Vikings. If that ever happens I’ll change my rating to 5 stars. Still a great app. Fun for all ages and very informative in some aspects..Version: 2.7.3
✓ Doesn’t openVerified the supported iPhone and iOS version is installed, as listed to be compatible with the app. Still every time an attempt to open the app is made it crashes. This is a fairly new issue, I was able to open and watch videos well put together app. Now, since a recent update nothing happens. I like how they update their app regularly and it usually brings more videos, which means you will never run out. There’s been no lagging or crashing, and it’s not blurry in the headset. I also love that if you don’t have a headset you can still watch the videos just on your phone! I would like to see more Virtual Reality apps like this and I think the community would too! ✓ AMAZING EXPERIENCE !!Like many school teachers, I have a tough time getting my students engaged. Fortunately I came across this app for my summer course. When going over the details about the California fires the kids were able to not only listen to me ramble off about it but watch as if they were actually there. ✓ Changes the gameThis is by far the best app for pushing the capabilities of what VR tech can really do for the mediums of film. WOW the vice news is powerful, catatonic is terrifying, history of Cuban dance is insightful and I simply can't wait to watch the rest. Take my advice get a swivel chair, some headphones and go immerse yourself in vrse for half an hour. Although... when I watch it without a VR headset it gets kind of annoying when it makes me face the wrong direction, I fix this by swiping my finger across the screen and putting me in the right direction.
