PulsePRO HeartRate Monitor for Positive User Reviews

Apple could learn from these guysUse to track my heart rate on runs, awesome app. Keep up the good work!.Version: 2.2

Excellent and really valuable heart appI have arrhythmia with frequent and significant episodes of afib (I had an unsuccessful atrial ablation in 2004). I bought an Apple Watch primarily because of its excellent heart monitoring capability and the fact that PulsePRO was available. PulsePRO adds enormously to the monitoring capability and helps me both monitor my arrhythmia and adjust my medication accordingly (taking it earlier than scheduled, if needed, and taking bolus doses: I have 11 years of experience doing this and have discussed it with multiple cardiologists). It also helps reassure me greatly that things are not getting out of control. The choice of 1 hour/2 hour/4 hour/8 hour/24 hour graphs of my heart rate are immensely helpful, both in reviewing my medication schedule and noting the spikes and troughs my afib causes. For some reason, I don't have to use the Workout app on the Apple Watch to get regular heart rate readings. The watch gives me readings at least every 10 minutes, but sometimes every minute. I also check my heart rate manually when I'm feeling bad, and can use both the All Data heart rate records in Vitals in the iPhone Health app, plus the PulsePRO graphs, to get really accurate and helpful data about my heart. I then take screenshots of the most important data, for my own comparisons and to email to my cardiologist. The one addition I would like to the PulsePRO graphs is a start date somewhere. The data can span more than two days, but one date would be sufficient. I find both PulsePRO and the Apple Watch particularly helpful at night. I charge my watch in the morning or afternoon (it only takes 60-90 minutes to charge it 100%), then wear it all night. I've discovered, thanks to PulsePRO, that my heart rate spikes around 110-120 at intervals at night (especially around 1 am!) even though I'm in deep sleep. I'm extremely impressed with PulsePRO. The fact that it is free is remarkable. The subscription is for cardiologists to monitor their patients, or for family members to monitor other family members. You do not need a subscription to monitor your own heart. I highly recommend this app if you have heart issues. I am very glad that it exists..Version: 1.2.4

Perfect for the GymNice App ! Finally i can track continously my heart beat in the gym and make sure I am not undertraining. Thanks!.Version: 1.2.1

Excellent!!Finally!! No need to get all wired up to monitor my heart!!.Version: 1.0

AmazingThis is groundbreaking smart phone technology.Version: 1.0

👍Great app.Version: 1.0

Perfect app for tracking your heartAfter a scare at the docs and having an ECG done, I thought I should keep an eye on myself - this does the job perfectly. Doctor likes the data too 😎.Version: 2.0

Now I can monitor my Mother’s heart rateTotally works for me! Not sure why NCAADisappointed is having problems. Maybe they didn't allow the app to access their health data. Anyhow, I bought an Apple Watch for my 88 yr old mother. Now, with this app I can monitor her heart rate. The only downside is, for the watch to generate heart rates it must be running a “workout”. No big deal but I had to teach my mother how to keep starting a workout, which was much harder then using PulsePRO, lol....Version: 1.2.4

Does not need subscription - Read the InstructionsDoes what it promises. Maybe not perfect and set up a tiny bit involved - limitations more from Apple iOS structure ... again free for personal use, subscription only if you want to share, or follow mom's BP..Version: 1.2.4
