✓ Easy and automaticSherpaShare is a great, easy to Understand and Matic mileage tracking app. I drive for Uber and Lyft and after each trip in allows me to categorize them as personal or business. ✓ Very usefulI've used Sherpashare as a way of tracking mileage done by my personal car when used for business and at the same time to track my overall business mileage. I used to use a book but there were times I'd forget and over a year that can amount to a lot of lost money. To give context I'm an electrician with one van and my personal car. ✓ Great App for miles & ExpensesI am a new Realtor and drive ride share to get more clients and make some money. SherpaShare is great at tracking miles and prompting me to designate my drives. It’s best to keep up right after the ride or they pile up fast. Make categories, tracks miles and receipts, maintenance, expenses etc. with ease! In addition you can do it on the web for even more control to generate Summaries, Reports, Excel sheets and it is all saved to the cloud in case of phone loss. ✓ SherpaShareI recently started driving for grubhub part-time, and needed a way to track miles for tax purposes. The functionality of the app is great and very straightforward. I have spoken to an accountant and he said that the reports that can be generated will make quarterly and yearly taxes much easier to complete. I would definitely recommend if you drive a lot and want to keep track of your miles..Version: 2.88
✓ It Does the work for youI love the fact that sherpashare track shoe mileage whenever you're driving regardless of whether or not you remember to log into the app. I do wish it was easier to modify edit and view your trips right from the home screen as that is necessary. ✓ Potential to save money. Works as advertised.The good: Application is easy to use and i was up and running in 10 minutes. Runs in background while I have my Uber and Lyft apps open. After each trip i can quickly assign it to the appropriate category. Finally, the expense and mileage tracker features are well organized and sent anytime it is requested to the user’s email. The bad: The pricing is expensive in my opinion (about $60/yearly). Also, the app must run location services in the background, consuming a lot of battery even when you are not using the phone. Overall conclusion: I will definitely be useig this app for as long as I am doing ridesharing and would also recommend it to persons who are self employed and often drive for work. ✓ Best for ride sharing so far, but needs some polishSherpaShare does indeed do the work for you at a reasonable cost. If the company remains committed with enhancements and updates, it will own this market. Taking all automatic approach (even integrating with an Automatic adapter), the app lacks real time trip tagging and manual trip entry. Relying on a server and web portal for the above features removes some of the app’s elegance. I would find the ability to relate SherpaShare’s trips to individual trips useful in case of an audit; on the other hand, logging trips en masse does mean the cost of picking up a fare is tracked with appropriate mileage deduction. SherpaShare also focuses on Uber drivers despite allowing tagging of virtually every rideshare service known. The app would be improved if it supported Lyft as thoroughly as it does Uber. Since navigation apps like Waze are integrated with Lyft and Uber’s Driver apps, there may be appropriate APIs to deeply enhance SherpaShare. The premium features, although useful, also focus on Uber more than Lyft. Of exceptional note is the chat feature. If one wishes to enjoy political diatribes, rudeness and obscenity, jump right in! I, however, would encourage policing of user names, behavior and posting by a moderator. Overall, unless something better comes out, I’ll be using SherpaShare..Version: 2.70

You will save money in taxes because of the accuracy of this app to record your time and miles without doing anything during you working time. Then when you get home just go to there website and categorize your deliveries and your personal things even you can take pictures of your expenses and add them. ✓ SeamlessSherpaShare was recommended to me by a fellow driver. It runs noiselessly in the background with simple, single notification reminders to nudge me to review and categorize my trips. I seem to respond to this “quiet” prompting more readily than with the other mileage tracking app I’d tried previously. I love how simple it is to categorize trips and how the map is shown so you can readily recall the trip if you don’t label it right away. I would like to be able to recall previously labeled trips in case I accidentally mislabel something. I’m sure that’s a feature but I haven’t intuitively found it yet. Great app overall. Sherpashare saved me with their heat map by drivers and passangers, it’s got a feature that sends you through a route where based on data you’ll get pings, it provides kpi of earnings, miles, etc, and the mile tracking for deduction purposes. ✓ Track your milesGreat tools to help rideshare drivers! Helping me find locations that riders might likely be when I’m not in a familiar area. Also good tracking tool, tho I never signed up for full service so I didn’t get a report. If I could know it would effectively replace MileIQ, I would switch. I was able to sign on to MileIQ and make corrections and additions, not sure Sherpashare will allow this. Also found that my data and battery were being drained fast so I only did the free two weeks and stopped. Might still be worth it. I definitely recommend drivers track their miles! ✓ Tried 3 Apps This WinsCompared Stride, Hurdlr, and Sherpashare. When my phone crashed Strides tracking was lost. Hurdlr works well but is not as easy to use as Sherpashare. Also I found I end up saving more money when using Sherpashare compared to the other 3. ✓ Exactly what I’ve been looking forThis is an amazing app for a rideshare driver. It lists a ridiculous number of Transportation Network Companies, even niche services like Fasten. There’s zero setup, and I can categorize expenses by swiping left or right. It’s probably a 3-5 minute process nightly. It tracks everything with an insane amount of categorization or no categorization at all, and you can go back and edit trips. Worth the very modest subscription, but there’s a free period (no cc/iTunes auth) to take advantage of first. LOVE IT!.Version: 2.70
