✓ Great appI love that it’s so easy. I am trying to lose weight before Christmas. I have fasting days which I find really hard. The crazy thing is it’s only 2 days a week. Plus it’s my choice. These kids go so long without food. When I choose to cut back, I give it to them. It’s really helping me as I know it’s helping them. We have so much here and take it for granted. I know starving myself won’t feed them but with this app it’s more like sharing the food I don’t need in real time..Version: 5.7.2

✓ Doing something other than for youI’ve always wanted a way to help people across the world who are much less fortunate than myself. But I’m not very wealthy either, I work 6 days a week in a factory on graveyard shift, my time is extremely limited but it’s really amazing to know you can feed somebody for a week who has nothing to eat. Say for the piece of cake for $4 that they decide not to buy they can input what they didn’t buy and transfer the cost of that cake/coffee/ whatever you are trying to reduce in your diet to a child who really needs it. ✓ Amazing app to directly fund meals and other efforts.I have been providing the little that I can for those in need through this app I just discovered as it’s easily liked to PayPal but more importantly, you know that your money will feed as many people as possible. They spend/charge only $1.10 Canadian per meal, which about how much a nutritious meal should cost in 3rd world countries due to currency conversion. So I know that even providing $110 CAD will feed 100 meals which is absolutely amazing due to their overheads most likely being covered by UN and free/charity volunteers/workers. After reading the Terms of Conditions as well as their FAQ page, the program notes that for every donation you make 62% goes directly to the families in need, 28% is invested in their fundraising and marketing, 6% is used to help run the organization and 4% is used for payment fees. Therefore, for every 80 cents (1.10$ CAD) only 49 cents (88 cents) is given to those in need. It’s unlikely that sum of money is enough to provide meals for a whole day, let alone a single meal that contains the required nutrients, making their marketing not 100% accurate or truthful. In the end it is your own choice to contribute, find another organization or donate twice the amount in order to guarantee enough money is provided for these families. Nonetheless, besides only 62% of proceeds actually being used for the direct hunger problem, the charity is created by the United Nations and there isn’t any evidence that they are a scam or that the money isn’t being used for hunger or growing the charity..Version: 6.18.0
