✓ Lost all entriesGood app but horrible iCloud syncing. Lost all my entries because I started on iPad and later downloaded the app on my iPhone. My empty entries from my iPhone overwrote all my entries on my iPad..Version: 3.8
✓ Not WorkingI had enjoyed using this app for the last month or so, but a week ago it stopped working and crashes whenever I try to load it. I understand these things can happen but I emailed the developers a week ago and haven't received a reply. Sadly having to look for a new diary now..Version: 2.2.2
✓ Hoped the app would live up to its promise, but it doesn't 😕App looks good, but every time I try to save an entry, it crashes...and then crashes evey time I try to reopen the app! ✓ Lots of bugs, but not subscription!This app has a lot of bugs in it, none of which are “fatal” (i.e. no data loss yet) and most deal with the UI being weird on an iPad Pro. But hey, its a once-price journal instead of those subscription models..Version: 3.8

✓ Loved until recent updateI have been using this app for over a year now and I initially loved it. It is so simple and easy to use. I love how I can easier go back and view my days and see snapshots into how my day went. It’s also helpful when looking back on when you did certain appointments and stuff if you log them. I often post picture with my entries and frequent back up my entries to the iCloud (just in case). The app went through a recent update and when I updated it on my device it deleted ALL of my pictures off my entries! 😣😳😠 I now only have the words to which has been aoooo frustrating. Hoping I can find a fix to this..Version: 2.4.2

✓ ICloud sync not working properlyA great app that I’ve used without problems for ages on iPhone and iPad but recently a bug has been introduced with an update. Previously, going into the app checked iCloud and a message informed you if there was a more up-to-date set of data on iCloud and gave you the options of using it or not. Now, no check is performed and nothing syncs. The only way around it that I’ve found is to go into settings, turn off iCloud sync and immediately turn it back on again. This seems to force a sync when you return to the text input. This is a real pain to do every single time and, if you forget, you overwrite previous data on the cloud. I’ve emailed the developers but has no response so I’ve sadly had to downgrade my rating of the app. I’ll put it back up again when I get a response and fix..Version: 4.7.1
✓ Lost all my diariesEverything is gone, including a full pandemic diary. I used this app for two years, got a new phone, and then POOF. Have tried to sync in every possible way, and even emailed devs a while ago for help. Nothing. Incredibly disappointing..Version: 4.7.3
✓ Nice app but some issues with ipadIt’s a great looking simple app and I guess it could be because I’m using it on iPad but it’s buggy. Text keeps disappearing along with back button and need to go back and forth to be able to write. Especially when using Apple Pencil..Version: 4.7.1
✓ Disappointed...I really liked this beautiful little app. It was so perfect for my needs..a place to write just a few lines every night before bed. Simple, minimalistic design was utterly charming. It was the exactly-right journal I’d always been searching for. I wrote happily in it for several weeks ... and then came the update, after which, to my horror, EVERYTHING I had written was gone. Unfortunately, I had not yet backed it up because it was still so new... and my words were not retrievable. I am so disappointed that I’ve deleted it from my iPhone.
