Nano Inventory Pros

✓ Good, could be betterFor the price paid NanoInventory is a really good app. There’s quite a bit you can do with it and it has a number of functionalities/reporting capabilities not available in Stock Control (Kiwi Objects). Has the look of being built on File Maker framework as opposed to an actual app as such but that’s no big deal really. Documentation a little basic and so vague, consequently you can spend a bit of time figuring it all out. The thing that really let’s NanoInventory down is iCloud backup/sync. I’ve just ‘saved’ a back up to the iCloud from Nano Inventory after updating on my iMac and tried to restore this to NanoInventory on Laptop, the result nothing has changed on my Laptop. Can’t find where it’s supposed to stored on iCloud/Icloud Drive and the documentation doesn’t tell me. While there are other optiions for doing this, ie. Dropbox for example, it to isn’t reliable. So in summary, I good Inventory app at a good price. Hopefully the developer can sort out the backup/restore/syncing issues soon..FanyupVersion: 4.0

✗ Just okBig learning curve. Maybe alright for someone theat wet to college to learn how to use apps like this but no where near as easy to use as it could be. Guess I’ll go back to spreadsheets I don’t want to take a day to figure out how to add vendors, categories and all that so I can add items. There should be a way to add all that stuff from the add items window, that’s how I write programs anyway..RjdeibleVersion: 5.1

✗ Great inventory manager with huge potential!I just started using this app. It’s a little but clunky with features just scatterd but they are there. There are some funny things that happen like not being able to delete a group, not being able to add a category to a group from one screen but able from another, among others. I see huge potential with the customization. I’d probably recommend streamlining everything and many be hiding somethings in the settings. Like do I need “Product calalog”, "list of products”, “Products”, "Product properties” all under one heading and all the the something more or less and products by category in a whole other category? Please use a flow chart to rethink the menu layout. In the meantime I will continue to use it because even with all these quircks, it still works..UnknownDomVersion: 7.6
