✓ Audio is too fast!I have not purchased this app as yet. The written aspect seems to work fine. The audio, however comes out too fast to discern the pronunciation of the individual words, at least for me. And pronunciation is just as important. I will consider buying when that is rectified. ✓ New vulgar adsI enjoyed this app for a long time. I was using it today and ads kept popping up every few minutes. They lasted for 15 seconds. You couldn’t leave. One was for a cartoon where a it appears something is going on under the covers. Then a woman breaks in and begins to use the F word to yell at her boyfriend. I was a little surprised to say the least. I’m not overly sensitive to this in the right context, but during my Spanish lesson! Embarrassing. What’s up? ✓ Full of bugs-Don’t waste your moneyFull of bugs. I wish to translate from English to Spanish, but the mic function keeps locking itself in the Spanish language and therefore as I speak English, it writes nonsense. Sometimes I get a translated sentence that is partially translated only, mixing English and Spanish in the results, so frustrating. I shouldn’t have purchased this app. Once you purchase the offline version, you also loose the verb conjugation available on the free version. I used to just enter a verb and click on the conjugation to see different ways to conjugate that verb. That option is no longer available. I was thinking that by purchasing the unlimited access package, I will have everything in it, yet it is the contrary. I do not recommend this app..OlivDznVersion: 12.14.10

✓ Used to be great. Now, not so muchThis app was extremely helpful while traveling. Easy to use, multiple examples of words in context to facilitate recall, pronunciation. Now, the ads are overwhelming and difficult to avoid. ✓ Needs an audio speed adjust buttonThe woman speaking the Spanish translated sentences speaks the Spanish words very fast and with authentic Spanish accent I am assuming. Very difficult at least for me, to jump into a learning curve with no actual curve it’s only linear - full speed with intense Spanish accents. i.e. emphasis on the hard rolling of the tongue for the R’s as example. I play guitar and a big help for millions of new guitar players is the ability to Slow Down a Song to capture the notes at speeds more digestible than actual speed....when ready you increase the speed until you get up to actual speed. I doubt I’m the only person who is having hard time trying to mimic the spoken translation into Spanish as recorded on your app?.LoanusumVersion: 1212.77

✓ Doesn’t work like it used toThis used to be a really great app but for some reason it doesn’t work anymore. I can see clearly that it’s leaving things out of translations. I started to get suspicious when I started getting weird looks and even weirder answers from people when I asked them questions. I guess I’ll be trying a different one. ✓ Terrible translations, not 100% accurateTried using the app while traveling in South America. Half the translations would not come out. Tried to translate menus, hotel signs, directions, brochure, and majority of words would not come up in English. Also thought I had bought a month of usage and not the annual subscription. Turns out, all their subscription are annual even if they do not say they are. You also cannot cancel a premium membership through the app. You have to contact apple and mange the subscription from your apple account. ✓ Tricky trickyThis app has some nice features but it kinda feels like a science experiment to try to trick you to rate the app and click on ads. First of all, why is it callled Spanish Translator Online when you have to upgrade to the paid version to get the offline part? Then the search field isn’t active when u first start the app until I tap on it, so it makes you think you might have to tap the Install ad at the top to get started. And why is the ad at the top of the screen, so in your face, instead of the bottom like most app? But the really trick is when they prompt you to rate the app 5 stars to get an upgrade.!this happened to me a while back when I first installed the app. Sounds like buying reviews, is that even allowed by Apple. Probably explains why they have so many reviews but also explains why every second review complains about sooo many ads..Viking WomanVersion: 12.14.10
