✓ Best app to start with.Got this app for fun, because I was far from having enough money to actually be able to make beats. after making some pretty cool beats off this app alone, it convinced me to look into Native Instruments even further. Now I’ve got the Maschine Mikro MK3 and I was able to expand on the beats I had made on my phone even further. I would definitely say this app sparked up my creativity for making beats, and was a major step in getting a feel for maschine software. As stated in another review, this app can very much be a useful “sketch pad” for ideas that you have to work on in the future..Version: 2.2.0
✓ Very goodReally nice looking rendition of Maschine on the iPad, simple to use and easy to work out where everything is. Perfect for getting down quick ideas which can be exported to Maschine itself or even to SoundCloud if you build a whole track within the app which is very possible due to the fact that you are provided with all the tools required to make one. Very high quality samples and I'm pleased to see that it's not all just sounds suited for more popular genres, for instance the great sounding Junglecore kit which it was awesome to see it feature parts of the Amen Break to stay true to the Jungle sound so NI have really gone in with their sample selection. The synths and instruments also sound brilliant and feature a large variety of different sounds so you're sure to find the perfect sound for your tune. Overall, fantastic, fully-featured music making app that allows you to whip up ideas on the go, a must have for musicians especially at this price and with the current sale on the expansions..Version: 2.0
