✓ MeteoEarth is MUCH betterWhen I got the message in MeteoEarth that the app was being replaced I was excited to try a new app which was even better than MeteoEarth… This one isn’t. By comparison it is TERRIBLE! In isolation this app is mediocre, but when you compare it to the excellent MeteoEarth it’s shortcomings become painfully obvious. This is NOT a viable replacement for your other app and have uninstalled it after 1 minute of use. PLEASE DONT REMOVE METEOEARTH!!!.Version: 1.5.0
✓ Bring back MeteoEarthHow ridiculous to retire MeteoEarth and replace it with a lacklustre, substandard, pixelised app that hasn’t even got a decent radar image. Shame on you guys. MeteoEarth was fantastic. Now it’s useless. Weatherzone Australia’s App is 1000 better than your so-called new app. Nothing beautiful about your graphics at all. Why can’t you leave MeteoEarth as is? ✓ Paste from clipboard!!!The app was one of my favourite apps and I loved how accurate it is but with the new iOS o realised that the app automatically copies whatever is on the clipboard!! Why would the app need that?!!! You have all the information you need to show me the weather information. This is a major privacy issue! What if I had private information in my clipboard! ✓ Piss-poor replacement for MeteoEarthFor some unknown (or at least undeclared) reason, Meteo group have announced they are shutting down their MeteoEarth app. They recommend users switch to WeatherPro. I expected it to have at least some comparable functionality. Sadly, it doesn't! Poor graphics, limited forecasting, and looks like an old iPhone app! In what way is this sad offering supposed to satisfy MeteoEarth users? Fortunately a combination of three apps The Met Office, Weather& Radar, and Windy, more than kick WeatherPro into touch. ✓ Not as good as the App you are droppingHi guys. In blunt terms your Meteo Earth App interface is streets ahead of Weather Pro. Very sad to see that you are dropping it. No matter what I try I can’t get the same level of weather information for my area from Weatherpro. The new Satalite view is next to useless when compared to the detail received in the Meteo Earth simulation. ✓ Someone thought this was a good ideaI got this because MeteoEarth recommended due to its upcoming retirement. What a disappointment after such a great app. This is a small block in the center of my iPad. Can’t select any city or location, just current location and Berlin (I have no interest in the Berlin’s weather). Radar only - no wind or fronts and no zoom. ✓ DisappointingJust installed this app after raintoday stopped working. This app just doesn’t work at all, no rain radar, just an empty map. The map is also at an angle so very hard to see where it might actually be raining if it did work. Perhaps this is because it is the free “lite” versions. ✓ I’m not in BerlinSetting to use location will not stick and I have given permission to use GPS. Testing the Lite version of WeatherPro as my paid version lost location support three weeks ago. Tech support said it would be looked in to but nothing has happened. Plenty of reviews on the paid app with the same problem. It may have started with iOS 15.6. ✓ Not as advertisedThe app claimed it would provide several days forecast maps for Europe showing weather wind and pressure. This worked for awhile and then that facility was removed. ✓ A disappointment compared to its predecessorThis app is a disappointment when you compare it to its predecessor MeteoEarth. Now that was an awesome app. It’s features like directional winds, temperature, and cloud coverage were great. And the rain feature was amazing. It was so accurate I would know the start and finish of a rain storm a head of time. With MeteoEarth I could zoom out and see weather in other places, where I was about to travel to, example, Europe. MeteoEarth also had hurricane paths and would also show low or high pressure cells. This WeatherPro app radar feature is a joke for example it was actually raining and according to the radar it was not even cloudy. I miss the MeteoEarth app it was my only weather app for many years. Now I have about 4 different apps for their different features and not always are they as accurate as the MeteoEarth app was. Maybe instead of putting money towards an app like WeatherPro they could bring back MeteoEarth and I’d pay for that..Version: 1.5.1
